This is pretty soft woods, flowers, and chamomile. Very pleasant. I tend to amp woods, I'm hoping they stay well behaved on my skin. Doesn't change too much on my skin. Rosewood and chamomile...actually starting to go a little weird and sour though. Hrmm. I blame chamomile, I think this happened to me with another blend. Thankfully the sourness goes away on full drydown, but all I am left with is a powdery woody scent. Meh. Woods continue to hate me ]:

First off, I have to say how much I absolutely adore the lab's bath oils. I don't use them as bath oils though, I use them as shower time moisturizers-rub em into my skin while I shower, let it soak in, and then lightly rinse it off. Do this, and my gawd, you will never have dry skin again. So amazing. So functionally, I freakin love these. In terms of scent, this is absolutely lovely. A sweet spring fruity flower mixture. It is QUITE strong, I find that after I use it I don't want to put on any other perfume unless it's the La Primavera perfume oil, which it layers with beautifully. I find that the strongest notes are the plum blossom, tuberose and sugar cane, but it is far more complex than that. It is hard to describe because it is so masterfully blended. Overall, if you enjoy fresh fruity florals (like the La Primavera perfume oil), this bath oil is such a treat!

MEH. This is sort of a sweet, incensey vetiver scent. Vetiver is my least favorite note evah is vetiver, so this doesn't bode well for me and Nyarlaramadingdong. Behhhhhhh, yeah this is a total vetiver scent. On my skin the citrus-y lemon note that other reviewers were noting comes out. Seriously the longer this on my skin, the more lemony it gets. Yep, lemony vetiver. O_o Odd combo. Evil...yet oddly refreshing?

This is a dark floral-smoky, incensey, and a bit tangy. Very interesting! This reminds me of a more smoky Lune Noire, if I had to compare it to another bpal blend. Not the same by any stretch of the imagination, but a similar feel. Lune Noire is more purple, this is more dark grey/blue. Overall, a gorgeous sexy smoky dark floral-a vampy floral perhaps. Beth does these blends so well!

Hmm...i'm not a huge fan of dragon's blood and leather usually smells like ashtray on me BUT I just have to try everything. You never know when bpal will surprise you ;D I actually like this in the imp though-the leather isn't too overwhelming and gives the sweet dragon's blood a bit of an edge. The leather comes out quite a bit more on my skin-this is a great leather note-not ashtray-ish at all. Very accurate leather-reminds me of my riding chaps, from my horseback riding days. Not a blend for me, but if you are a dragon's blood fan and a leather fan, this blend is tailor made for you! The two mix surprisingly well!

Ok, I am thrilled for the peach in this, but I worry a bit about amber-it can go super powdery on me ]: Suuuper yummy in the imp-all sweet peach wine goodness! Oh yes, this is GORGEOUS. Sweet boozy peach wine. Rich and golden. The amber is playing nicely so far, I am hoping it won't get too powdery on drydown. While this does get a bit powdery on drydown, it actually works well with the peachiness. I can see enjoying this in all its incarnations-the wet boozy sweet peach wine phase and the dry sweet golden peach powder phase. I can see myself grabbing a bottle of this! Peach lovers HAVE to give this one a try!

Good god, this blend is So effing gorgeous. In the bottle it is rich red strawberry-not the pink candy strawberry I am used to with most of beth's strawberry blends-this is RED and juicy and fresh. Omg. The greenness comes out when this is on my skin and moves it even further away from being a candyish scent. It is defiitely very sweet and sugary, but not synthetic or candyish. The grasses are very soft and muted, and the dandelion sap just mixes SO well with the strawberry. Green, but not intense green. Just stunning and unique and easily my favorite of all of Beth's lunacies evah! If you are a strawberry fan, but have found that the other strawberry lab scents don't work on you, don't count this one out-it is not the same! Juicy sweet red strawberry perfection!

This is such an interesting scent-I can't think of anything like it-it's a bright white scent-the lily is quite apparent, so lily haters beware. It's also rather sweet-which I think is in part due to the mix of white mint and blood orange. Very sweet, bordering on too sweet-juuussst walking the line. though it mellows out a lot once it is on my skin versus the bottle scent. Sandalwood can be hit or miss on me, but it is very subtle here-helps ground the blend. It's sort of hard to describe this scent because of the diverse selection of notes-the lily, blood orange, and mint are the forefront though, so avoid if you don't like those notes. Overall, this is a great representation of the concept-a bit sharp and tangy, but at the same time airy and sweet. A little unsettling in the contradiction-lovely!

Interesting blend in the imp-it really does smell like a mixture of the notes listed in the description, which sound so weird and different on paper, but actually work together pretty well in this blend. How the heck does Beth dream these things up?? I'm not usually one for tobacco scents, but this is really cool-the cigar smoke is the undertone-there's a sweet dripping melon and honey in this mixed with the fiery spicy chili pepper. There is also the gin and juniper (two notes I usually don't like) giving this a fresh herbal side as well. On drydown, the tobacco becomes much more apparent-the sugariness of the melon and honey fade, but they flavor of melon and honey are still there. A muted, smokier version of the wet scent. This is really an amazing blend-not really my type of thing, but probably one of the first tobacco blends I could possibly picture myself grabbing. So unique!

Whoa! Very juicy and tart! Yum!!!! Tart purple fruit and musk, with a bit of carnation in the imp! Yummeh!!! Omg, this is amazing! I'm always happy for more carnation blends! Delicious spicy carnations, musk, and tart purple plum! GORGEOUS! This is an awesome blend I would put into the "purple" category, and I can definitely see myself picking up a bottle one day!

In the imp this is a soapy, aquatic floral. Meh. Guh, salty soapy aquatic floral on my skin. Had to add the salty part in there. Bleh. On full drydown it loses a bit of the soapiness, but is still far into the salty aquatic (slightly floral) category, which just isn't my thing.
-
Gah, super duper salty aquatic floral. >_o I am really not an aquatics fan, and this is super salty. Yeee. Reminds me a bit of the sharpness in Long Night Moon... Hmm...Ok, I can imagine this being gorgeous on the right person...it's got this sparkling ocean crystalline quality that is quite pretty. A bit salty and sharp-but there is some note in here, maybe the hyacinth I'm thinking, that is just weird to my nose...I don't know how to describe it. The fir is also quite apparent. I still find this to be very similar to Long Night Moon, so if that is your kind of thing, definitely check this out.

Yep, dirt scent-rich moist dirt with a bit of perfume. I'm not a dirt scent person, but this is kind of a pretty dirt scent. A much prettier dirt scent then I would have imagined-a bit rich and spicy. It's not even fair to call it dirt, it's rich and moist-loam indeed. This isn't my thing, but I think this is one of the most accessible dirt scents Beth has ever made-it's a dirt scent for the non dirt lover. It's got a rich, earthy vibe with a bit of softness and femininity in the perfume aspect. Loses the wet dirt feel on drydown and leaves behind on a sweet perfumed/powdery earth scent. Very nice!

Mmm, I like this in the imp-moreso than I thought. You can almost SMELL the humidity-I LOVE how Beth does that-it is amazing. Like biting into rich juicy fruit in the middle of wet steamy rainforest. I can feel the sweat on my brow! Yes, on my skin, its about the same-the description of this blend is pretty spot on. Same with drydown-I liked this far more than I thought I would-I was a bit worried the rainforest boughs would be too green for my tastes, but it's just perfect here. Amazingly well blended. I lose the fresh juiciness of the fruit on full drydown and the amber makes his a bit powdery (my skin powders up amber to the max), but this is a great combo of earthy, floral, floral and fruity, with some jungle steam mixed in. I'm not sure I would need a bottle of this, but I think EVERYONE should try it just for the scent experience. Beth really captured a concept in a bottle!

Hmm...this is mostly patchouli to me in the imp-light male cologne, maybe a HINT of lavender, but mostly patchouli! Nuuu! Ok, way more lavender-y cologne on my skin-hmm, a bit sour though. I like lavender, but there's something in this, not sure what, that comes across as sour to me. The wood and patchouli are also evident, and the amber shows up all powdery ]: Yes, this dried SUPER powdery. Meh! Amber does that to me sometimes. Smells like super sweet lavender powder with a hint of patchouli-no more sourness. Stupid amber! This is far too powdery for my tastes.

Interesting in the imp...seems like an herby huckleberry to me...with a bit of strawberry and incense. The violet comes out way more on my skin-very sweet. A good mix of the notes-rose haters, no worries, it is barely noticeable here. It's hard to describe because it really is a combination of all the notes...a little bit of everything. On full dyrown, its is a soft sweet earthy strawberry/huckleberry scent with a bit of incense and flowers but it kind of loses any uniqueness. Mostly just soft and and sweet. Nice, but I won't need a bottle. I think on the right person this could really be stunning.

I am a bit worried about the patchouli in this, but everything else sounds lovely...blackberry? Pom? Bergamot? I'm in! Oooo, I'm not sure how this will go on my skin, but it's nice in the imp-rich and dark-dark earthy/dirty blackberry with a bit of that pom dryness! Mmm! Oh man, the blackberry note is bliss! BUT, the patchouli may be a bit much for me. It's hard to tell...I think I like my blackberry more foody and less earthy..I'm gonna see how this dries down. Ok-the patchouli is not too strong on this-it really mellows as it dries down. This is a great blackberry blend-thankfully, I don't NEED a bottle, because there is a certain red velvet blend covered in blackberry syrup that I prefer, but this blend is wonderful if you are looking for a less foody blackberry!

Ughh. I do not like vetiver. It is my doom note. This was a frimp and I have to try EVERYTHING in the gc, but I know I won't like it..hopefully some of the other notes will come out on my skin because in the imp all I get is VETIVER. Yep, almost ALL vetiver on my skin-a wee bit of rose, which helps make this blend bearable to me-I can easily say though, that if you don't like vetiver, you won't like this blend. It is SUPER noticeable. Full drydown was subdued vetiver and a teensy hint of rose-probably a nice feminine vetiver scent, if that is your thing :3

Mint and lavender-with the mint being far stronger than the lavender. A bit toothpastey in the imp. Less toothpastey on the skin. The pennyroyal is really intense in this. Yeah, this is like, all pennyroyal-barely any lavender. And the minty edge is gone as well. Nope, not for me!
-
This smells sooo lovely in the imp-lavender and sweet peach with a bit of sage. I really enjoy lavender blends, but they tend me to make me feel a bit sleepy-this one seems so bright and cheerful! Whee! Yes, lavender and peach-sweet-a bit...citrussy? Someone I know described this as "lavender fruit loops" and that's an excellent way of explaining this Yep, full drydown, still lavender fruit loops! Such an interesting combo...I'm digging it!

In the imp this is rich, resiny sandalwood and incense. Much what you would imagine from reading the notes. Ok sandalwood/incense aren't my cup of tea, but this is really beautiful on-very subtle, a little sweet. Woods can get overwhelming, but it is so well behaved here. DARN, unfortunately my skin chemistry does something REALLY weird to this blend-I don't know which note it is but it goes all funky and sour *CRY* I can imagine this is super gorgeous and amazing on the right people, but my skin messed it up! The weird note goes away on full and complete drydown, but most of the unique gorgeousness of the initial wet smell is gone too ]: Stupid skin chemistry!!!

There really aren't enough carnation scents-this has been on my wishlist to try forever! I'm not sure about the rose (totally hit or miss) but tea and carnation sounds heavenly! Ooo! Lovely in the imp-light lemony tea and carnation! Very pretty! The rose comes out a bit more on my skin-this is just too pretty! Light and delicate and dainty! Very classic feeling. The rose is soft and understated-I can see why this one is so popular! Yep, this is totally win! Soo gorgeous! I love the smell of rose, I just usually don't love the way it blends with my skin chemistry, but in this blend it stays completely true-as if I was sniffing a soft pink rose right in front of me, combined with a lovely lemony white tea and carnation! Brilliant!

I've been holding onto this imp forever-I get so nervous testing these rares! Very interesting in the imp-hard to pin down, there are just so many diverse notes! Sweeter than I thought-definitely get the cream and honey (love!), with bits of fresh light greens and fruits! Very pretty!! The veggies are way more apparent on my skin-an odd mix of sweetness and vegetation-not dirty or earthy veggies, very fresh, light, salad-y veggies. On full drydown, while it goes a whee bit too powdery, I enjoyed this blend a lot. It's not a holy grail blend (thankfully), but I believe this would have been quite popular if released as a purchasable LE. I don't know how else to describe it without repeating myself-extremely well blended and unique!

The idea of this blend sounds lovely on paper-I'm just not sure what will happen when it actually hits my skin! Jasmine and rose can go SUPERSTRONG or kind of sour respectively. This smells very pretty in the imp-a bright sweet almost fruity kind of floral-it is jasmine heavy for sure, so jasmine haters beware, but the gardenia, tea rose, and vanilla help temper the omgjasmine! Interesting! Ooo! Yes, this is very pretty on my skin! I love the vanilla in this! Kind of like antique lace-y with added gardenia and jasmine! Gorgeous! Hard to describe, but wow, the jasmine is not too strong in this, which makes me so happy because I really do enjoy jasmine! I'm not sure i'd be running to grab a bottle of this, but I really enjoyed this blend-it's a lovely sweet vanilla/jasmine floral! The fresh wet phase is the prettiest and brightest-either the gardenia or rose goes a bit odd on full drydown and the whole blend goes a bit powdery, but still very nice!

I saw a review above that said that this blend reminded them of Stimulating Sassafras Strengthener...I sort of get that vibe too when I sniff it from the imp. Like a dark, smoky, burned around the edges SSS O_o Ok, on my skin the woody and floral notes come out a bit more, but seriously, this is like a dusky/dusty/scorched SSS to me Very interesting. If they made root beer incense, this is what it would smell like. On drydown, I lose the "rootbeer" randomness I was getting before, and end up with a soft, woody/incensey scent covered by a breath of flowers. I liked random rootbeer better, but if you like woods/incense (the flowers tend to stay in the background when they aren't smelling like sassafras!) then you should try this blend.
