Whoa! This is very very sweet in the imp! I mostly get the sweet strawberry, darkened a bit by the poppy. Not as much carnation. I am very curious to see how this will work on my skin. Hmm...this is weird. It's got this very sweet sugary candy strawberry scent mixed with the dark black poppy...it's kind of an odd combination. I think I would have preferred this without the poppy and with more carnation to spice it up, but not give it that heavy feel that poppy leaves me with. In the end, pretty much everything else fades, and I am left with a sort of generic strawberry candy scent. Kind of powdery and totally meh. Will pass this one on.

This is quite masculine-a light lavander men's cologne with hints of citrus. Very pleasant, and possibly something I would hold onto to test for my boyfriend, but I am not sure this will be a "me" scent. This is a bit more herbal on my skin than I would have expected. Still, I would best describe it as lavender cologne. Overall, this is a very classy, dignified lavender cologne. While I would say this is a masculine blend (masculine, not manly), I can't imagine a man living nowadays who I would say is dignified and gentlemanly enough to wear it!!! Definitely still soft enough for a woman to wear. I would not purchase a bottle of it (I will stick to Yvaine for my lavender fix-I'm a girly type), this is a very lovely unisex blend.

Hmm...I'm a bit wary of the olive blossom and sandalwood, but the other notes make me think this could be a very yummy, sexy blend. Guh, in the imp this is WAY too strong on the olive blossom...very overwhelming and floral @_@ Yeah, this is very meh to me. It's super heavy on the olive blossom, which is not a note that I like. Along with that, the champaca flower (which I sometimes love, sometimes don't love) smells weird in this blend. This is almost old lady floral on me. Bleh! ETA: Ok, this gets MUCH better on full drydown. That sour floralness goes away, and whole blend warms up. Still not my thing, but if you are a spicy olive blossom sounds appealing to you, I would recommend this blend. It really needs time to dry down though to hit it's high point!

Hmm...not sure how this blend is going to work on me. Blackberry, green tea and berries sound great, but I'm kind of skeptical about the sage and dark musk. This is nice in the imp-sexy herbal musky berries. I can see this being a very sexy blend! Yes, on my skin this is very similar to how it smelled in the imp-the tea is a wee bit srong, but the overall feel is of deep dark berries and mystical herbs. I am digging this way more than I expected. The musk and sage are here in just the perfect amounts! This is sexy, but not overtly sexual. Very nice! I am going to see how this dries down, but I am really digging it so far. On full drydown, this blend does not disappoint. It's still a leeeetle strong in the tea department, but overall this is a gorgeous deep berry scent-not too sweet, not too herbal, but perfectly dark, sexy and mysterious. I would love to own a bottle of this one day.

Grrrr. In the imp, all I smell is tobacco and musk!!! Where is the vanilla tea, coconut and lilac??? Hopefully those other notes will come out on my skin... Yeah, srsly, I don't know how some of the other reviews say that they don't get tobacco...it's by far the strongest note on my skin and overwhelms the light whiffs I get of coconut and lilac. Yeah, this is definitely a fail on me-it just ends up being kind of a light tobacco/musky skin scent with a touch of lilac/coconut. Not what I was looking for in this blend.

I was intrigued by this scent when I saw the description, but also intimidated-I had no idea what it would smell like...so I didn't order it. Thankfully I got the chance to sniff it at will call and fell in love. This is a GORGEOUS scent. A sexy sweet smoky orchid/purpley scent. I think what really makes this blend a winner is just the right amount of the champaca. Perfectly blended! So glad I got a bottle of this!

Fresh fresh fresh green scent. Kind of an herbal tea concoction. Pleasant, but I'm not sure this will be me-a little too soapy and I have the feeling this might go to powder on my skin. Gah, on my skin REALLY strong herbal tree and GRASS. I am not a fan of grassy scents at all. This is way stronger than I thought it would be! It (thankfully) calms down, and ends up as a kind of grassy soap smell. Kind of like expensive perfumed herbal/green scented soap. Like it would be the handsoap in a rich person's bathroom. Not for me!

Ok, this is one I was excited to try because I've been itching for a good coffee scent and I had heard good things about this blend. The only thing that worries me is that I'm not to keen on the idea of "dusty tomes" or "oakwood halls", especially because I think those notes will amp on me... Mmm...this smells good in the imp...a rich creamy coffee with just a tiny hint of the other notes. Hopefully that yummy coffee scent will stay strong on my skin and not get swallowed by old books!!! On it's a blast of strong, heavily creamed coffee. Unfortunately, as it dries I can already feel it going a bit dirty and sour...oh yeah, got a big whiff of dusty tomes... From far away this smells pretty good, but if I bury my nose in it I do get the dry dusty smell I'm not too fond of, to be honest. On full drydown this is a nice blend-I don't get any oakwood from it, and the dusty smell is hidden way below the creamy coffee smell. I like this blend, but I don't love or need it, and considering how long my list of wanted bpals is, I can't see myself grabbing a bottle of this anytime soon. I really would love a coffee blend without that dusty note in it! But if the description of this sounds good to you, I would definitely recommend checking it out!

Love this polish. LOVE! This is a gorgeous bright shiny fuschia pink. I saw the color at will call and just had to have it. It looks great on both fingers and toes, and I think it especially contrasts well with my pale skin, though I imagine the color would look good on any skin tone. You would need to apply two or three coats of this to get the best color (or you can lazy like me and do one really thick coat...), but it's a really intense, bright, rich, glossy vinyl (enough adjectives for you?)color. It goes on a bit thin, but pretty smooth. In terms of chipping, I would say it's about average. I am HORRIBLE to my nails so I always get moderate chipping, and I would say this is no better or worse than most other polishes, and that is without a topcoat. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this polish to others The color is just AMAZING. I can't wait to try more of the other BPTP polishes.

Man, I was kicking myself for not ordering this inquisition (I picked up L'Inverno instead-love the perfume oil, hate the room spray and bath oil). I got the soap set a few months ago and had loved the La Primavera soap, so I was very excited to see how the perfume would compare. Thankfully for me, the most recent will call I was at had these inqusitions available for sale, so I snatched up a bottle of the perfume oil and I am SO glad I did. This is a GORGEOUS floral. The plum blossom is the strongest note, which makes me happy because I LOVE bpal's plum blossom. The rest of the notes play in the background and are extremely well blended. Certain notes that can sometimes be a bit too intense for me (like jasmine and ylang ylang) are very well behaved in this blend and add to it instead of overwhelm it. I am in love with this blend-it is a beautiful fresh sweet floral and I will covet my bottle!

Whoa, in the imp this is a sharp ozoney mint. Tingly and refreshing-I can see this being a lovely summer scent, especially if the mint holds up on my skin. Oh, this is a lovely white floral mint! Tingly in just the right way-and a bit bubbly, likely from the champagne notes. Wow, I like this even more than I thought I would, it really is the perfect summer scent for those hot sweaty socal valley days! I do wish I got a bit more grapefruit from this, but still, I'm really digging it. I am going to give it some time to dry though, to see if the goodness will last on full dry down. Unfortunately, it does fade dramatically as it dries. This is not a blend with staying power and after about a half hour I lose the mint almost entirely and am left with a nice white floral, but nothing spectacular. That said, I'm not going to be rabidly searching for a bottle of this, but I would like to pick one up someday-I don't mind slathering and I think this is a lovely, refreshing summer scent (lol how many times can I say that in one review) and the first non foody bpal mint I've really been enjoyed.

Ooh, I am excited to try this-there aren't enough blood orange or raspberry scents!!! Neroli and I don't always get along...we'll see how I do with this. Damn...the neroli is a bit strong in the imp. Stronger than have liked. There is a orange/red candy scent under the neroli, which I'm hoping comes out more on my skin! On my skin, this smells...kind of like sweet tarts O_o Like a mix of the pink and orange ones. I am a foody/candy scent lovin girl, but the neroli just really kind of throws this whole thing off for me... Yeah, seriously, this dries down to sweet tarts o_O The neroli does fade a quite a bit on drydown, though it almost leaves a dusty undertone? This is an alright blend, but not an OMG I LOVE IT blend. Not bottleworthy for me, but if you are a fruity/candy scent lover, check this out and see if it works better for you!

Whooo, I am so happy to have gotten a hold of this. I had the pleasure of sniffing it at a few will calls, so I am very excited to try the final product. In the (squee cobalt) bottle this is crisp dry green apple and musk. Definitely not an apple-y apple scent. On my skin this is a dead on green apple scent. Fresh and a bit tart, with something darker lying underneath the surface-absolutely lovely! Sexy Vampire Apples is definitely the perfect way to describe this scent. Totally worth the wait!

This was a lab frimp-not something I would have picked out for myself. In the imp it is a quite strong white floral-I get little sniffs of some of the specific notes, but I can't really pick things out too exactly. This might be nice on me-there aren't really any doom notes for me, though tobacco flower and ebony wood have me a little worried. I can't see myself loving this, but the lab is full of surprises! Wow, this is strong on...this is kind of a spicy, non feminine (but not really masculine) white floral. Overall, this is a nice blend, but very forgettable for me and not something I could ever see myself grabbing for. But if you are looking for a white floral with a bit of spice and edge and bite, I do think this is an excellent blend and would recommend it if that sounds up your alley.

I am a foody lover, so this sounds like BLISS to me. I have had mixed luck with bpal's chocolate notes, but I am hopeful this will be nomnomnom heaven for me. In the imp-WHOA-this is a BLAST of sugar @_@ VERY sweet. Under the thick layer of sugar I get the pralines and toffee and buttercream as the strongest notes. On my skin-YUM! This pretty much is foody heaven. You get a little bit of all of the notes-and there is something a little boozy (the hops?) about this blend. Very nice. The sweetest, most decadent desert evar without the calories! Ok, this loses a bit of oomph as it dries-in terms of both scent and throw, so it would be a blend that needs lots of reslathering. I wouldn't say it is one of my FAVORITE bpal foody blends, but it is definitely yum and the glutton in me will want to pick up a bottle one day

This was described to me as "vanilla rocks"-sounds very odd but it was well loved, so I had to try it. Ok, in the imp...it's weird...it really is like vanilla syrup poured over earthy gray rocks. Not sure how this is gonna smell on my skin... On my skin, I really like the vanilla note, but I just don't love the "rocks" note. It's kind of sour and dirty. This is kind of a cool blend, but there are so many other vanilla bpal blends I love more, I know I would never wear this.

DCLV-I believe this is honeysuckle(?) and ginger (like the kind in Opuhi!!!) and maybe a little jasmine? Quite lovely, as long as the honeysuckle and jasmine behave on my skin! Eh. No. Fail. Total fail. This turns to burning rubber on my skin. I have no idea what is in it, except that it is fail. :D It was so promising in the bottle!!! I still get hints of that opuhi type ginger (which is a note I LOVE), but whatever else is in this that I can't identify it messing with my skin chemistry. Ah well...hopefully someone will want it and will have a CT that is more up my alley... ETA: Ok I was a bit hasty in reviewing this-it does lose a lot of that weird rubbery smell as it dries, but still, the honeysuckle (at least I think that is what it is), just doesn't mesh well with my skin. Still such a bummer, because I love ginger so much *le sigh*

Irrelevant and Disturbing Surreal Crawdad Dream

This is delicious in the bottle. Mostly currant and blueberry and green tea! Just lovely! Blue Fire didn't work on me, so I'm hoping this will be a blueberry scent that does! First on the skin this like a mix between blueberry muffin and blueberry green tea! Very nice! Hmm...the tea gets quite a bit stronger as it dries. Maybe a bit too much...I want to see how this fully settles. Unfortunately, when this fully dries there is some weird sourish note that just kinda kills this blend for me. Not sure which of the notes it is, but booo! Also, it goes quite powdery on drydown. I can see this being an AMAZING foody blueberry blend on some people, but something about my chemistry is throwing it off. It was amazing in the bottle. Totally meh on me! -
This was a lab frimp. I never would have picked this for me O_o Whoa, this is a blast of something sharp and intense and tangy and masculine in the imp. Yes, on my skin this is tangy and masculine-I get the chamomile and the I LOVE the pepper. Damn, this is actually really dark and sexy...the incense and blood musk are just perfect in this blend and I actually lose that sharpness when this is on my skin. It mellows very nicely. Normally I don't like leather notes because they smell like ashtray on me, but I don't get that with this blend at all. The cypress gives it an earthy touch...I just can't get over what a lovely and well blended perfume this is. Ok, I don't think this will go on my wishlist because I just can't see myself actually wearing it (far too masculine for me), but this is a DAMN good blend and even if it doesn't sound like your cuppa, I think everyone should give it a try. It's just SEXY. I may hold onto the imp and see if I can test it on my boyfriend...

OMG just the IDEA of strawberry and champagne is enough to make my mouth water. I am really hoping this will be a hit on my skin! In the imp this is powdery strawberry with a hint of champagne. Nice, but not quite what I was hoping for-the strawberry feels a bit artificial. Hopefully it will bloom on my skin. Ooo-yes, I like this! It is a fun, youthful, bubbly sweet strawberry scent! Fun and simple and happy! For days when you wanna wear pink and be girly! Will definitely need to grab a bottle of this one day!

Mmmm, this is so yummy in the imp! A big bite of fresh juicy mandarin orange settled with white musk. Gorgeous! Not sure if it will hold up on my skin, but I adore how this oil smells on its own! Very nice on the skin! Not as sharp as in the imp, but a nice muted fresh orange with whiffs of mango grounded by white musk. Yes, this is lovely! I barely notice the sandalwood (which is good, because it tends to amp on me), but the only downside of this blend is that the white musk comes on a bit strong as it dries-more likely actually, my skin is eating the citrus, which it tends to do with just about any citrus blend. It's kinda just leaving me with the white musk. Grr! I think this is going to be on my maybes list. I really liked it at first, but I'd have to endlessly slather it have it smell how I'd want it to.

Arghhh. I was so excited for snake oil with coconut....so excited I just decided to overlook the vetiver in this blend. But vetiver truly is my scent nemesis, so I will be surprised if this works on me. Especially considering that when I sniff it in the imp, I get 99% vetiver and a leeeetle teensy whiff of coconut. BLEH. On my skin is definitely vetiver doom. Argh, I feel like I would LOVE this if it was just snake oil and rich meaty coconut, but the vetiver just kills it for me! I am going to let it dry down and hope maybe the coconut and vanilla come out, but I'm not optimistic... Ugh, ok, yeah, I still freakin hate vetiver and need to wash this off. Throwin this to the swaps and will continue the search for a snake that works on me!!!

Oi vey...I am not too optimistic about this one. Both leather and rose are generally fail notes on me... In the imp this is smells pretty much exactly like the description-rose and leather. Not bad, but not really my thang. Yep-on my skin still leather and rose. Kind of like someone has a bouquet of roses in the back of a brand new leather seated car Hmm, the leather gets stronger the longer this is on my skin. Leather is just not something I want to smell like! I would say this is just a leetle stronger on the leather than the rose, but if the description sounds like your bag, you should check it out.

Mmm...based on the notes in this I would not think I would like it (smoky scents are not my thing!), but I sniffed it at will call and new I needed a decant to give it a full test. In the imp it is plummy purple incense! Sweet and smokey and beautiful-ozone can be hit or miss with me, but I really like it in this blend, at least on first sniff! Whoa-VERY ozoney on the skin! Hopefully the plummy incense (I <3 the lab's plum) will come out more on my skin...eh, SHOOT, something is going kind of weird on me...I'm not sure what note it is but it's kind of a sour floral perfumey note??? Well poop, the dry down on this is COMPLETELY different than how it smelled in the imp. :D Never thought I'd be wishing for more smokiness!!! The ozone was too much I think...this ends up being a sour/sweet floral ozone with a bit of a burnt undertone. Good thing I tested an imp of this before buying a bottle, is definitely not for me.

Oof-sweet floral in the imp with something VERY sharp in there. *wrinkles nose* Not sure what note it is, but my nose does not like it. Well, thankfully that sharpness mellows on the skin-it's still a somewhat sharp fruity floral. Not bad, but nothing I'm WOW-ing over. Going to let this dry and see how it settles. Meh, this faded fast and was nothing special. I only put it on like twenty minutes ago and it's practically gone and I can barely remember what it smelled like on my skin... definitely going on the swap list.
