I love this blend. In the imp it's very strong cinnamon-both the sweet side of cinnamon and the fiery side of cinnamon. On my skin it becomes a little more sweet and a little less fiery. Delicious, but not too foody! This, to me, is the definition of a warm scent and a perfect representation of cinnamon in perfume form. Lovely. I bought a bottle for my mom when I went to my first will call and she told me that the first day she wore it to work, her coworkers kept commenting on how good she smelled! I will definitely be picking up a bottle of this for myself one day.

This was sour, metallic, and perfumey in the imp. Oof, it doesn't get any better on my skin. It's too dirty, too masculine, and there's just some note in there that is turning my stomach. It's like a football player rubbed on a bunch of strong perfumey cologne and then played a game of football, sweating and rolling around in grass and dirt...this is what he would smell like. Do not want.

In the imp this smells like dirt to me, which I'm guessing is the patchouli. Don't get me wrong, I like patchouli, but it has to be mixed into something else. I get the feeling this will be too patchouli-riffic for me, but I won't know till it is on my skin. Ok, it's much better on the skin. I think I get a bit more of the sandalwood and the frankincense (I do love frankincense). Oh, this gets better the longer it's on. The patchouli really calms down and the other notes come out. Almost like fresh polished wood with a bit of spice? A little tough and a little exotic. A perfect tomboy scent. I keep catching little whiffs of it and wondering what smells so nice, and then I realize it's the Anne Bonny! Interesting. I'm still not sure I would purchase this as I'm not sure it's a "me" scent, but I rather like it. On full drydown it loses that bit of spice and basically smells like wood. Pleasant, but not what I'd like to smell like.

Ack. In the bottle there is something about this that kind of turns my stomach. Something sharp and acrid. Please let that note fade on my skin! Nope. Not gonna fade. I wish I knew which note it was! I can smell a nice watery floral underneath it, but it's overshadowed by this something that just does not work on me, like sour rotting flowers. To the swaps you go

This is pleasant in the imp. A warm, dusty musk. I saw another reviewer describe this as a "beige" scent, and I could not agree more. The feel is on the same on my skin, it doesn't morph much from that original sniff. It's very comforting. Makes me wanna go cuddle my doggy. Musks and I don't always get along, but this is really quite nice. It doesn't change much more upon full drydown. The amber is maybe a bit stronger and the overall scent is a little less dusty, but it's still a nice soft earthy/animal musk. Overall I don't think this is something I would get a bottle of...I can't think of a time when I would actually wear it! But I will hold onto the imp for a while and try it again later. It's definitely not bad, it's just not my thing.

Whee! Won a bottle of this from a Lab ebay auction and it just arrived! It sounded delicious and I can't wait to try it. Let me just say I love the label art! In the bottle it is a mixture of mint and creamy vanilla. It's yummy, but the only thing that worries me is that I get a little bit of that toothpaste smell that sometimes pops in minty products. Hopefully that won't get amped on my skin! Ok, when I first apply Lick It it goes a little bit plastic-y/pencil shavings on me. Luckily I don't get that toothpaste smell from it once it's on my skin. The longer it sits, the less plastic-y and more authentic candy caney it is. Impressive! It also has a very good throw and smells the best if you give it a little distance. Just like Candy Canes. Stick your nose up real close to it and it will clear your sinuses. On full drydown this is a very pleasant sweet creamy vanilla-mint perfume. Not my absolute most favoritest bpal ever, but one that I will enjoy, especially around the Holidays.

I am absolutely in love with this blend Grapefruit is the strongest note to me, with the pepper being second. I never imagined they would compliment each other so well, but it's perfect! Something to give a naughty edge to the sweet grapefruit and lemon candy floss. I love the hints of ginger in there too. Heavenly! The only downside of this one to me is that it doesn't last very long. It's so yummy that my skin just eats it up and I have to keep reapplying. I will cry when this bottle runs out! -
Oof. I was excited to read peach in the description of this because I love peach. I forgot that I hate vetiver. It's hard for me to describe exactly how it smelled in the imp, but for me it was terrible. Kind of like a rotting peach covered in rotting flowers congealed in sour alcohol. Despite my better judgement, I am going to try this on my skin incase it somehow magically morphs into sweet peach schnapps or a sophisticated floral like I am hoping it will... Ok. It isn't as bad on my skin. To my nose it is a very VERY strong floral perfume with a slight peach undertone. The peach gets stronger as it dries. While I think this smells a million times better on my skin than on the imp, this is not for me at all. Far too old lady perfumey, far too strong and floral, blech vetiver, to swaps pile you go little imp!

Oi vey. I got this as a frimp, so I'm gonna test it out because I gotsta try everything once...but this really doesn't sound like it will be "me". It's really the opposite of my tastes. *gulp* In the imp it's...not bad. Very perfumey/cologney to my nose. I think someone in here mentioned Cool Water cologne and that is definitely what it reminds me of-my brother really liked Cool Water, maybe i'll end up giving this to him! Ok, ok, no more stalling. Let's test this out... Hmm. Wet on my skin it continues to surprise me with the fact that I kinda like it. It's a nice musky aquatic. Definitely like a more complex Cool Water. Unfortunately, when it fully dries, some component of it goes "off" on my skin. Blech. Too bad! I don't know what it is, but something is making it go sour. I knew aquatics and I did not get along! It almost turns to a salty seaweed smell or wood rotting in ocean water. The more it dries the worse it gets. Boooooo. This is definitely not for me. I do think it a nice blend for males though, and I am going to test this out on my boyfriend's skin and see the blend works better on his chemistry than it does on mine. This is a tricky one, but I imagine that this would smell wonderful on the right person.

This review is for the '07 Resurrected version of Midway: In the bottle this is straight cotton candy to my nose. Sweet, sugary, pink, delicious! Wet on the skin it's a little smoky at first. Mmm, then the caramel apple and the funnel cake start to pop out. Ooo, now the taffy! I don't think I ever expected taffy smell to come through in perfume. This is wonderful. Every sniff is a different edible treat! Like walking down the Midway and catching whiffs of all the delicious confections, trying to choose just one. With Midway you get them all! On full drydown it kind of goes back to the cotton candy, but it's less pink and more sugary. Almost like white rock candy drizzled in caramel? I love it! Excellent blend for foodie lovers!

I wasn't sure how I would feel about this oil...I looove pumpkin, but I don't really like greens... In the bottle I smell spicy pumpkin with a whiff of something green underneath. It's very interesting. Once on my skin it's a burst of buttery pumpkin, which slowly starts to fade into the greens. This must be the sweetgrass and sage. Mmm. Very pleasant, and I'm not usually one to enjoy green scents that much. A lovely late summer/fall scent. Too bad I just got this as it is approaching springtime! I'll probably let this one age and bring it out in the fall! When I wear this I feel like I should be out taking a hike on a cool desert night or something. Ok. On full drydown this smells like fresh, buttery pumpkin from far away, and grassy/floral tinged with pumpkin up close. I like it!

Mmmmm. This was my first bpal love. The minute I sniffed the imp, I knew I needed a bottle of this. Rich, delicious white cake. Not the the overly sugary frosting, just pure fresh moist cake. Decadent. At first I could really only notice the vanilla, but once on the skin the currant starts peeking out, adding a layer of depth to the scent. It's so sweet and warm and comforting. Simply wonderful.

A city of mystery, wonder and majesty, said to have been built by order of Gilgamesh. Thick bitter almond and heady night-blooming jasmine with saffron, cinnamon leaf, red patchouli, river lilies, bergamot, fig leaf and the sacred incense of Inanna. Oh Uruk, what in interesting scent you are! In the imp all I got was very strong bitter almond. Way too thick and syrupy for my tastes. The almond was overpowering with just teensy hints of cinnamon and patchouli. On the skin it starts morphing immediately. The almond note falls aside to make way for the cinnamon and the incense. Then the patchouli. Then, there it is, the jasmine. The jasmine becomes the strongest note to me when this dried. Sort of a spicy sweet cinnamon jasmine. Very complex! I really didn't think i'd like this, but it's growing on me. This may have to be a full bottle purchase one day!

Mmmmm. When I first sniff this in the bottle it is chilly, crisp, fresh, and pure, like driven snow. On the skin the other notes start popping out. A little green, a little floral, a little sweet. It is divine. Innocent yet sensual, clear but complex, a beautiful creation! I can't get enough!

When I first popped open this imp and brought my nose to it I got hit with a whiff of Orange Pez Candy! Not a bad smell, but not something I would necessarily want to smell like all day. When this was wet on my skin, that's when the other notes started to come out. First the pepper starts to poke out...then the tea...and oh...this is morphing into something quite lovely. Pez is growing up! And then when it fully dries, it is wonderful! You can really pick out all the notes and it blends into something gorgeous! Such an interesting combo! A bright, happy, unique citrus scent, good for all seasons, that has been added onto my "must buy" list!

For this one, I don't feel I need to seperate my review into wet, drying and dry. This is pure liquid gingerbread, fresh, dark, rich, moist, and heavenly. Absolutely brilliant. Comforting and delicious. Warm and soothing. I love it.

Oh Vice... This smells quite nice in the imp. It was a sort of a bitter dark chocolate smell with a whiff of sour cherry. Unfortunately, it did not mix well with my skin. During the drydown it went sort of...Dr. Pepper on me would be the best way to put it I suppose. Dr. Pepper smeared over some kind of floral old lady perfume. Not a good mix. It got a little better when it fully dried. I could find the chocolate smell again, but now it was kind of...chocolate mixed with cough syrup? Time for me to wash this one off. Basically, Vice was no match for my skin chemistry! To the swaps pile you shall go!
