The lemon's a bit too much and it ends up smelling a bit cleaning product-y. 2/5 I don't think lemon works for me.

Very bubblegum for about 30 seconds then turns slightly spicy and a bit weird with that plastic note that's in so many foody blends (Jack, Drink Me etc.). 2/5 Not for me.

Cleaning products and sage. 2/5 Not want I want to smell like.

I just got Hermia and it really reminds me of Diary of a Lovestruck Teenage Cannibal.

This isn't bad and I was looking forward to it as I'm generally a fruit fan but after trying it I realised I'm just not that into raspberry, which is mostly what I got here. It's slightly more interesting than plain raspberry, but I found that note to be very dominant on me. 2.5/5 I might keep the imp for the summer and see if I change my mind though.

This reminds me a lot of a Mitchum's "Shower Fresh" deodarant that I used to use. It's very aquatic and a bit soapy. Slightly masculine as well. Unfortunately, it's not doing it for me as it smells too much like the kind of smell you'd find in toiletries but not something you'd choose to wear. 2/5 I just don't think I'm into aquatics.

It’s nice but I just don't think I like patchouli, not that this is a very strong note here, but I'm quite fussy. I don't get too much mango, this one is predominantly fig on me. I tried it with Carnal also which I found quite similar and I think they blended well together but I think Carnal has the slight edge on this. 3/5 It's not bad but not bottle-worthy really.

This smells very similar to Rose Cross to me, but with just a bit more sugar and without the frankincence. But unfortunately it has that funny lettuce/socks smell that I got from rose in Rose Cross too and although the bad smell fades a little bit after an hour or so, it never really leaves the scent. 2.5/5 Not for me.

This started out OK but the rose turned very funny after about 30 minutes and ended up smelling like something I can't quite identify - kind of a cross between socks and lettuce. It's not the same rose note as in Rose Red for example, or 2, 5 and 7. It's smells an awful lot like Hope to me as I had the same problem with that. Anyway, whilst it's not truly terrible it's not something I'll be wearing again. 2/5 I like roses, just not this one.

Rose and grass. Maybe a bit too high and sweet really. It's not as deep as Rose Red or anything. This is more like a rose soap or rosewater than a real rose. I don't know if I'll wear it much though and sometimes I can smell something in it that smells vaguely like manure. Overall, there's a bit too much green and it all ends up a bit sharp and spiky. 2.5/5 There's better rose scents out there.

Not unpleasant but a bit darker than I was expecting. Despite the grapefruit, I'm mostly getting the musk, chamomile and lavender which isn't bad but it's just not me at all. 2.5/5 Too dark for me.

I quite like lavender and this blend is an OK lavender blend but I don't really think it's anything special. I can tells there are some other notes in there but I can't quite pick them out. It's OK but I'm just not crazy about it. 2.5/5 Just kind of 'meh.'

Terminal sugar rush. A little goblin's candy bag, upended. Smushed candy corn, rock candy dust, marshmallow gunk, strawberry goo, spun blue sugar, globs of salt water taffy, and lint. This does smell a bit like candy corn but with a really nauseating plastic note as well. It's very strong and sweet but there's a funny note that I really don't like and I had to wash it off. 1/5 I won't be wearing this again!

I find Antique Lace really good for layering. My current favourite is Antique Lace + Victoria. Victoria on it's own smells mostly of lillies but they work together to make a nice floral version of Antique Lace. I've never been to Southern America though (unless Florida counts!) so I can't really help much. But I definitely think Antique Lace is great for adding a bit of depth to most florals.

I believe that's the description for The East. Fairy market is Otherworldy golden incense, blooming wind-flowers, everlasting lavender, bluebell, a faint whiff of exotic sugared candies, and fae mist upon wet green grass.

I've worked out what this reminds me of. You know when you're at the dentist and they give you that funny pink water to rise your mouth with - that is like Diary of a Lovestruck Teenage Cannibal. Slightly citrusy and quite sweet but the dentist assosiation is weirding me out a bit - not that I dislike going to the dentist, I've got pretty good teeth; it's just slightly strange to wear as a perfume. 3/5 It's reasonably pleasant but I still think I'm likely to put the imp up for swaps at some point.

I don't like wood and this is kind of pot-pourrit and wood smell. I hate to say this but it does smells like an old-people's home to me. 2/5 It's not revolting but I don't like it.

There's a strong hit of lemon at first. It smells a lot like lemon sherbets with a hint of some kind of cleaning product. After a while the lemon fades but what's left isn't an entirely pleasant smell (although it's hard to tell as it's not very strong either). 2/5 Off to the swap pile.

I was highly anticipating this because I have hip-length hair and I really wanted to put some Rapunzel in it but it wasn't to be. The rosewood is just way too strong for me in this. Maybe it's just my chemistry is amping it but to me it smells like 90% wood and 10% nice stuff. I wouldn't mind a teensy amount of wood I guess but this is just way too much. I don't think the orris is helping either. 2/5 I guess my hair won't be smelling like Rapunzel's, unfortunately.

This totally smells of ylang ylang to me. In fact I can't smell much else in this. The thing is, I'm not even sure if I really like ylang ylang or not; I've always found it a funny sort of smell. But I'll keep this imp in case I ever do decide that I like it. 3/5 Very very ylang ylang.

To me, this smells just like Crabtree and Evelyn floral soap, I don't know which one exactly but it's that kind of smell. It doesn't smell like pure soapiness (e.g. Persephone) but just like someone is holding a bar of soap under your nose. It's not that bad really but a little artificial and not what I was hoping for. 2.5/5 I really wished this worked for me.

I think this is what I expected Snow White to smell like before I tried it (which just ended up smelling of Barbie plastic to me). This is snow with a touch of florals. It's fresh without turning into dryer sheets and snowy without being minty. The menthol note is perhaps a touch stronger than I'd like ideally but without it, it perhaps wouldn't be such an interesting blend. I wore this the last time it snowed and thought it worked very well. 4/5 Very nice for cold, wintery days.
