OK, so my boyfriend and I are on my bed, just cuddling and kissing and enjoying the fact that he could be over at my house for about six hours and that I had it all to myself. Yay. So I decide to be a little wicked, and I put on some Blood Rose. DAMN. Let me tell you- it WORKED. I haven't been kissed like that by him in MONTHS. I put a bit of Ravenous on later, on top of it.... wow. I am going to have to be very, very careful about what kind of BPAL I wear around him!! But I must say... that was nice! Anyone else had this happen to them? ~Diamond~

It's WONDERFUL! It smells so cozy for me... definitely buying a bottle of THIS stuff! It smells, oddly enought, like SAWDUST to me. But I had just been thinking the day I tried it, after spending some time with my dad when he was sawing stuff, "Hmm, I really like how sawdust smells..." But it is much prettier sawdust! Very nice! ~Diamond~

Oh good I'm not the only one who thought it was "sam hane".... I have now decided to sod the whole thing, and call it Halloween. ~Diamond~

In the bottle: It smells like Fresca. That would be the grapefruit, and the bubbly, carbonated feel the champagne On me: I am so glad Beth sent this to me as a freebie... I just had my heart, well, shattered, and this has the feel of a picture lying on the floor, glass shattered, tears falling around it, perhaps a prick of blood as a brokenhearted woman kneels to try to pick up her heart.... ~Diamond~

This scent screams ripping a man apart in bed, scratching your nails down his back, screaming his name, and leaving him begging to be between you legs again, while you just calmly deny him- you're done with him now. Given what I'd like to do with my now-exboyfriend, my inner bitch has found her favorite scent! ~Diamond~

Well, as a newly re-initiated member of the Lovelorn and Heartbroken, I have to say that Shattered is a great scent for when you want to sit and wallow in your tears. And I got it as a freebie imp.... thank you to the powers that be... ~Diamond~

First impression: Cherry Robitussin. Ew. On me: Ehh... I might warm up to it... I will update later as it does what it will with my skin chemistry. ~Diamond~

In the bottle: This stuff is GREEN. First thing that pops into my head is: fresh cut grass. That fresh, light, summery smell. It is very intoxicating- makes me want to swoon and pass out. On me: mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm this is nice. It's almost powdery floral, but not. Or fresh laundry. It's just overall FRESH but not like toothpaste fresh. I like this. I have De Sade on my wrists and this on my elbow, and going from one to the other is niiiiice.... ~Diamond~

WHEE! My very first BPAL experience! First impression: SMOKE. Like campfire smoke. It reminded me of an old cowboy movie, with leather saddles and sweaty horses at the end of a day. Very masculine in the bottle. On me: The leather comes through! I want to eat my hand. I am HAULING my boyfriend over and slathering him in this!! On me, it gives me a kind of, "I am not A bitch, I am THE bitch, and that's MISS BITCH to you!" feeling. All in all, I love it. ~Diamond~

Oh gosh... *hugs* Brokenhearted is the toughest time in anyone's life, I would think. And I once spent two months crying (literally cried every day for two months), so I know how it goes. I bounced between wanting to wallow in my misery and cry for the rest of my life curled up in bed and wanting to go out dressed like Trinity from The Matrix and beat the ever-loving snot out of someone. For wallowing, I would think some very light scents, like perhaps Veil or Antique Lace would be good. Mind you I haven't actually smelled any BPAL yet (I am as of yet a total virgin) I'm just going off the descriptions. For the kicking-booty moods, I would go completely seductive and sinister, like Lady Macbeth or some of the raunchier Sin and Salvation blends. Whip would be good. As a tip, get some very nice, nonlyrical CDs, like the meditation music and some of Enya's stuff. I found them very comforting and it entertained my mind a bit. I totally know what you mean about needing a distraction. All the best to you! ~Diamond~
