The black opium is thick at at the front, with the vetivert close behind. It is a heavy, dark scent. Not bad, but not great, it just doesn't work for me.

I might as well be holding a vial of tea, sweetened with a touch of vanilla sugar. That's exactly what Dorian smells like. Nothing changes when applied, either. It's delicious and it lasts - 12 hours and still going. Amazing, and definitely one of my top scents.. although it's normally my fiance that I slather this on!

In the imp Yemaya is all honey dew melon. On my skin it dries down to honey dew melon with a light floral background. Overall it's a very nice scent, if a little light.

In the imp it smells like a nice butter toffee. Mmm, tasty butter toffee. I don't really get a lot of coffee from this, or any of the other listed notes. It's more of a caramel, or peanut brittle or something. Sweet and foody. After a while it starts to take on a plastic tone, however. Something about this just doesn't agree with my skin..

In the bottle I mostly smell cheesecake. It brings to mind the image of a strawberry or cherry cheesecake, with a nice graham cracker crust. On my skin it's just the same. It spends a few hours in the cheesecake stage before moving onto the cupcakes, vanilla with lots of frosting. The scent stays strong, and delicious, even after quite a while. (The only problem with it? It makes me want lots of cheesecake!)

In the bottle it's all cherry and vanilla. Wet on my skin it's exactly the same, delicious vanilla cherry. Sweet, but not overpowering. It reminds me of Bloody Mary, without the tang that scent has. Even after a few hours the scent stays true and strong.

In the bottle it's delicious spiced apple cider. That's the only note I really get when wearing, it either. Apple cider and baked spiced apples. There is occasionally something a little smoky in the background, but it doesn't come out often. The apples are delicious, smells like real apple cider. A wonderful fall scent, although I wore it through winter and spring as well. This is one of my top scents.

I don't have a whole lot to say about this scent. In the imp it's a floral and grass scent. When I apply it turns into a sort of generic floral scent, and while most scents like this turn into baby powder on me this one does not - but it's still not all that impressive. Just doesn't do much for me.

A poisonous fruit-bearing member of the buttercup family. The scent, like the plant, is dark green, herbal, and plump with bulging black fruit. In the imp I get a lot of green, and not much else.. Wet, it's much the same as in the imp. Very green. As it dries down the scent becomes very sharp. I'm not really getting any fruit, just a very sharp green scent. It's actually making my eyes water quite a bit.. Soon the sharpness fades away, but sadly, I'm only left with soap.

Wow, each sniff of the imp brought out a different note every time. Interesting. On my skin the lavender really pops, with a nice background of greens. As it dries down the lavender remains right on top. It's almost all lavender, with just a tiny hint of something green.. Not bad, but the fiance hates lavender, and it's not great enough for me to keep it around for when he isn't around. Off to the swaps.

In the imp it smells a bit like mouthwash or toothpaste. (Yes, because of the mint. ) Wet on the skin it's still minty, with a touch of alcohol. As it dries down, it just becomes mint again. I have nothing against mint, but this mint is the mint of dental floss, toothpaste, mouthwash.. yeah, it just reminds me of the dentist! Not really a scent for me. But wait, what is it doing now..? Baby powder! That usually only happens with florals.. that's interesting.

Hmm.. first sniff of the imp reminds me of orange cleaning product. On my skin the notes that stand out the most are tangerine and something like pineapple. As it dries down, that hint of cleaning product returns, however. It's nice, but it doesn't quite work for me.

In the imp all I can smell are the florals. This doesn't look good for me.. On my skin, it's all floral.. and then, baby powder. All baby powder.

I did not like the scent of this in the imp at all. I am unable to pick any notes out, but it all just seems very sharp and unpleasant to me. As I wore it, it smelled the same as it did in the imp. Eventually I was able to pick out some mango, which would have been quite nice on it's own, but there was something in this (or some mix) that just did not work for me at all.

Mmmm. in the imp it's all sweet and fruity - kinda like a fruit punch. On my skin it's still a sweet scent, but something is holding it back a bit. The pepper, perhaps? Maybe the pomegranate as well. This scent didn't morph a lot after the initial dry down. It stayed a sweet fresh scent, really reminding me of fruit punch of some tropical drink, but was never too sticky or especially over powering. It reminds me quite a bit of the Atomic Luau Lounge scents, in that way.

In the imp Zombi smells very earthy, with just a hint of rose. On me it's deep earth, freshly turned dirt.. but it's mostly roses. At first the roses were actually fresh, wet, heavy roses.. but as time goes on they become drier. It reminds me of entering an old mausoleum in a graveyard, one that's filled with dried dead roses.. You can still smell the moist earth and such from outside, but the roses are definitely at the front. It's interesting, this scent is not truly wet or dry, but is somehow both.. I didn't think I would like this, much. Roses so rarely work on me, and while I love earthy scents I already have so many.. but this is a truly wonderful blend. It may even become my main earthy scent.

In the imp it's pine with an undercurrent I can't quite pin down. On my skin the pine is still right up front, but there's also something a little minty coming out. As it dries down more, a sweetness seems to come out. Almost like pine and a coconut sunblock. It's a very odd sounding mix, but it works well on me.
-
In the imp it is spicy and somewhat musky. On my it's all spice, with just a trace of wood. Soon it's turning into something that smells like red hots candy (strong cinnamon).. there's a hint of something slightly aquatic. Almost like taking Thalassa and laying tons of cinnamon over it. Not a bad scent, but not really for me. (And, it's burning my skin a bit..)
-
Very heavy aquatics from the imp.. almost sharp, in a way, but somewhat floral and sweet as well. Wet on my skin it reminds me of something I can't quite place. A laundry product, or perhaps a shower soap someone once had.. As it drys down the milk seems to come out a bit more, although it smells more like an almond milk. Soon enough it starts to remind me more of a soap again, before fading away all together.

In the imp there is a heavy incense smell. As I apply, that scent stays strong, but the cocoa comes out as well. The cocoa sweetens it a little, but the cocoa is not a foody one. This scent is just like Boomslang on my skin. Cocoa and incense goodness.

In the imp I get a crisp green smell, a bit more like basil than grass - although that is in the background. I really slathered this on, but never got more than a very light scent. It started out as a nice, if faint, freshly cut grass. That very quickly disappeared - and by quickly, I mean within 10 minutes. All I'm left when, when I can pick up anything, is a very light powdery scent.
-
I can't quite pick out any single notes from the imp.. On my skin the myrrh comes out more.. and the orris? It is a deep, somewhat dry scent. As I wear it, it lightens quite a bit though, and eventually turns into a very powdery scent. After about 15 minutes, it's pure baby powder.

In the imp I smell sweet vanilla cakes and a deep wine. The first sniff was almost all wine, but the next few found more cake.. Oh wow, on my skin it's all cake. That is not a complaint. It reminds me a lot of both drink me and eat me. Not quite as sugary sweet as drink me is, though.. I believe the milk note seems to be toning the cake and honey down, a bit. I don't get much wine now that it is on my skin. Drink me reminds me of a child's vanilla birthday cake, with tons of vanilla frosting - very sweet and thick. This is more of a pound cake, with some fresh whipped cream. Still delicious, but in a slightly calmer way.
-
In the imp I get a sweet, syrupy sent, almost like maraschino cherries.. with just a hit of something spicy in the background. Strangely enough, at the very end I pick up something that is like.. basil? When I first apply the star anise really pops out, but not in a bad way. As it drys down the sandalwood seems to come out more. As I wear it, it becomes a nice blend of star anise and white sandalwood, neither really overpowering the other. I don't really pick up any cherry blossom, however..

In the imp rose is the predominant scent. Hints of leather can be made out.. On the skin the rose seems to come out even more, and begins to go somewhat powdery. No, maybe more like soap.. I'm not getting any of the leather. After time the roses end up turning to a soapy smell with no hint of what they should be, and the leather never appears.
