I'm still trying like hell to love this one, and I wish to god I got cucumber and mint and grass. and while it's still wet, it's absolutely fantastic. but, as soon as it starts to dry, this high pitched artificial fruit smell starts amping like hell along with the sage and makes me want to vomit :\ I really really wish I could wear this one... the reviews sound SO good.

A scent of peace, reflection, and renewal of the spirit: sakura, ume blossoms, and wisteria. uh where is it? I timed it this time. I put it on my skin. it took a little over 30 seconds for the florals to completely disappear. all that's left is some weird bitter smell and it's really disgusting.

this is absolutlely, stunningly delicious. and I'm SO ridiculously critical of smells. I don't like anything, ever. but, out of probably 200+ bpals I've tried, this is the first that really feels ME. I think it's sort of an idealized version of how I myself smell. lol. I love gardening so I love the smell of dirt (which is good because I often smell faintly of it!). it's got earthen notes, woody notes, spicy notes, foody notes... I hate foody passionately, but this one pulls it off like crazy. first applied, it smells like I started to grind spices for my chai and only got to the cinnamon and maybe a little clove before I accidentally spilled it on a forest floor somewhere. if I had to try to pick out some notes, I'd say there's a rich earth note, a bit of something mossy, cinnamon, maybe clove, velvety sandalwood, and something like rich cocoa. it smells like velvet and bengal went for a sexy tumble on a forest floor somewhere, and death cap discovered them there and joined in for a threesome as an afterthought.. the only thing I don't like about this blend is that it stings like crazy when it goes on, and then gives me a pretty hefty rash a couple hours later. but it smells so amazing it's totally worth it. this is probably my new favorite smell ever. it's that good. and it's worth seriously noting that I do indeed hate everything, ever.

yeah, wintergreen. with a touch of oakmoss on drydown. I hate oakmoss. this one has no redeeming qualities.

so I have a job interview at best buy's geek squad. think I'm gonna wear namaste. I was thinking either that or szepasszony, but I also have f5, green phoenix, vinland, scherezade, blood countess, baghdad, etc. at my disposal. pretty sure I'm doing namaste. what do you guys think? Ria

oh god, WHY. this should have been PERFECT. out of the imp and first on my skin it was fanTASTIC. I have been LOOKING for a hyacinth blend that would work on me for ages. and I was convinced this was it! it was SO good. it kept getting better and better for ten minutes or so. it was absolutely perfect... and then, I forgot about it for a little bit and went to sniff it another ten minutes later... and was struck with the overpowering scent of tires on asphault baking in the hot sun. what the FUCK? this was SO good! I can't even express my dismay. the only other blend that did this on me was roadhouse. could there be dandelion in this? fuck. I mean, really. this was the shittiest letdown.

UGH JESUS!! what!? WHY is there an oyster dinner in this bottle and on the back of my hand? if this doesn't wash off I'm going to be throwing up the rest of the day. I don't smell jasmine or anything nice, I smell sage and lemon over oysters. this is HORRID.

what the hell? all these notes are awesome! what happened? I HATE dragon's blood. when am I going to learn? it smells like rot and vomit. and BANANA. this is making me absolutely nauseous
-
rofl. this is amazing. dandelions, stale beer, and I swear I can smell the hot asphault too. certainly not something I would wear, but by god did beth nail it.

after something like 80 scents, I've found maybe two that are actually nice and green and fresh air smelling. I love this one. and I hate everything! I've heard it called aquatic, floral, etc. well I hate both, but it's got elements of both with a bit of fruit and mostly cool breeze. love this one. if I move my shirt about to waft it, it smells like cool spring breezes. love love love it.

... this is fanTASTIC. in the imp: it smells like rain.. marvelous. wet: it goes on slightly citrusy. then it goes through a phase that ALMOST borders on cleaning product, but doesn't quite make it there. and then... it turns into spring. no, seriously. a foggy spring morning, with new grass and new leaves and some exotic flowers in the distance wafting. it's not even a PERFUME smell in any way. it's just FRESH AIR coming off my skin. dry: I put some on my neck and collarbone, and whenever I move... ... there's just ambient spring breezes. this is incredible. I'm IMPRESSED. this is the first bpal in about 30 or 40 that I'm this taken with. I honestly thought my chemistry and personal tastes were too different from everyone else's to find one I genuinely liked. this will be my first bottle purchase. WOW. on a scale of 1-5... this ranks.. 15. I'm so excited to have found something this fresh and uplifting the only thing keeping it from being INFINITY is that it doesn't last terribly long on me... I still can't believe there's a warm damp spring day wafting from my skin, under my robe...

this is quite exceptional... so far I've I tried 16 other oils, all of which HATED my skin or gave me a headache, except maybe one or two others, which faded within ten minutes (?!). but this one... this is fantastic. applied, it's a straight up chocolate orange, mouthwateringly delicious, which fades to a slightly spicy slightly orangey chocolately muskiness. it's delicious. I just wish it lasted a little longer. oddly enough, I loooove it layered with blood countess. you wouldn't think, right? but it's fantastic.

help starts off headachey sharp mint dries to wet moldy rug smell why does everything hate my skin
-
ow ow ow this gave me an instant headache that I cannot get rid of I tried washing it off my skin a minute or two after and I can't get it off

went on sour, then turned into epoxy. stupid chemistry. also, cardamom and cilantro have nothing in common, you're thinking of coriander, which is the seed while cilantro is the leaves.
