LEFT HIS NURSE WHILE IN A CROWD There was a Boy whose name was Jim; His Friends were very good to him. They gave him Tea, and Cakes, and Jam, And slices of delicious Ham, And Chocolate with pink inside And little Tricycles to ride, And read him Stories through and through, And even took him to the Zoo- But there it was the dreadful Fate Befell him, which I now relate. You know-or at least you ought to know, For I have often told you so- That Children never are allowed To leave their Nurses in a Crowd; Now this was Jim's especial Foible, He ran away when he was able, And on this inauspicious day He slipped his hand and ran away! He hadn't gone a yard when-Bang! With open Jaws, a lion sprang, And hungrily began to eat The Boy: beginning at his feet. Now, just imagine how it feels When first your toes and then your heels, And then by gradual degrees, Your shins and ankles, calves and knees, Are slowly eaten, bit by bit. No wonder Jim detested it! No wonder that he shouted "Hi!" The Honest Keeper heard his cry, Though very fat he almost ran To help the little gentleman. "Ponto!" he ordered as he came (For Ponto was the Lion's name), "Ponto!" he cried, with angry Frown, "Let go, Sir! Down, Sir! Put it down!" The Lion made a sudden stop, He let the Dainty Morsel drop, And slunk reluctant to his Cage, Snarling with Disappointed Rage. But when he bent him over Jim, The Honest Keeper's Eyes were dim. The Lion having reached his Head, The Miserable Boy was dead! When Nurse informed his Parents, they Were more Concerned than I can say:- His Mother, as She dried her eyes, Said, "Well-it gives me no surprise, He would not do as he was told!" His Father, who was self-controlled, Bade all the children round attend To James's miserable end, And always keep a-hold of Nurse For fear of finding something worse. Hot tea with cream, berry cream-filled milk chocolates, and moist slices of cake against a backdrop of alarming leonine golden musk. Oh dear. I'm first? Eek. Okay, have mercy. This smells nothing like I thought it would. The tea, berries and chocolate are the first three notes I initially get. Chocolate goes bye bye fast. There's also some kind of a "fried dough" note...I'm not sure if this is the cake note that's tricking my nose, but it's some kind of a fried pastry note. You may or may not pick up on this...not sure. I'm also not sure what "leonine" musk is, but it may be the one note that keeps this from being as foody as it sounds. It's kinda "off". Again, nothing like I expected, but I'm going to set this aside and let it age and see what happens! Also got Tcotchkie and Trinket as my extra imp goodies in a cute velvet stocking along with some cute little toys! (Have not tested these two imps yet.) ETA: I've been wearing this the whole evening...and I am still sniffing it...I'm getting a light cream note with a touch of tea & berry. There could be hope!

LOVE Marker on craft paper, 2012 This is a card for my daddy. I spelled it by myself. Marshmallows and rose sugar with whipped vanilla cream and a hint of strawberry. Love Amazing. I get a healthy dose of marshmallow and strawberry for a moment, and then these notes quickly fade into the background. The rose then comes out to play for good. End result is sugared vanilla cream with "rose essence". It's soft and sweet; the rose is there but not sharp at all. I love this!

Diabolically decadent! Bone-chilling mint swirled in thick globules of marzipan cream. MINT. Mint, mint, mint. Creamy mint. Nothing else!

Fig milk, vanilla, orchid, and ylang ylang. Absolutely beautiful blend. Lusciously soft & creamy fig with a beautiful floral blend of ylang ylang and orchid. These two floral notes do not overpower the blend at all, rather they fall into the background just enough to make the whole blend almost "powdery". Gorgeous!

Pumpkin candyfloss with lavender, violet sugar, and a dash of mint. Ah! I love this!!! Initial blast of foody pumpkin (pretty much pumpkin pie!) and strong lavender. This pumpkin is not spicy at all; as I'm very sensitive to spicy scents. Within a few minutes, the lavender is almost gone and the candy floss comes into play. Pumpkin pie still the star here; with that candy sweetness that continues to linger in the background. I didn't get much of any violet or mint in this blend. I should mention that I'm not a fan of lavender normally, but this blend is a winner!

Wow. This is sooooooo beautiful!! It smells like an expensive, upscale candy/vanilla creme musk perfume.

To me, this is reminiscent of Snow White, the "powdery sweet vanilla" version! I LOVE it!!!

This a gorgeous floral! Sweet luscious plum is the star of this one, followed by lots of lilly, with just a touch of lavender at the end. This is very strong; you only need a teeny bit!

Yum....sweet, plump, ripe candy cherries with fresh pine! It works!

A Thousand Thoughts, and Hopes, and Joys

I first have to say that I'm not usually a fan of carnation. But when I saw its blended with two other scents I really like, I knew it would be a winner. And boy is it! Carnation hits you in the face right off the bat but it's soon warmed and softened by the beautiful vanilla. Not getting too much freesia; it's more of a background player here. Very pretty scent. -
Wow such a multitude of scents! So beautiful; not too spicy, and the jelly candy/frosting adds a nice touch of sweetness. Yum!

Holy marshmallow!!! Marshmallow cream! Marshmallow cream and vanilla shortbread! If you love foodie, you will love this!

It so hard to explain this one, but Rainbow definitely explained it well. It's absolutely gorgeous; like a sweet frosted fragrant winter forest!
-
Delicious white cake (not sure I'd detect it as red velvet cake) smothered in rich peppermint cream frosting. The peppermint is soft and smooth; not sharp by any means. Delicious!

Fried raspberry jelly doughnut! And you can actually smell greasy goodness!!! YUM!!!!
-
Imagine warm, sweet, pink vanilla frosted gingerbread. It's SO good! I want to lick my wrist. Not spicy to me, and I'm very sensitive to spicy scents so if you hesitated because of that, now you have no excuses. Get a bottle!

Juicy, creamy yet tart! Rich, sweet pumpkin (no spice for me) swirled with a touch of strawberry cream (not fake smelling either!) with a few red currants thrown in there just for extra "pop". Yum!

Apple with white coconut, fig, and tiare. This a nice tropical Apple scent. The scent is primarily red apple, lightly sweetened with coconut and ripe fig lingering in the background. Fresh, green and sweet!

Graham crackery and cream cheesy! Cinnamon brown sugary! This year’s is a bit more carroty! (But not too carroty!) Smells absolutely decadent! I usually can't handle spicy scents but this has enough foody goodness with the graham cracker/cream cheese and carrot to tone it down. So yummy!!

Lots of honey and vanilla cream! Don't smell too much pumpkin; but it's there in the background. This is soooooo decadent and rich!

Whoa! APPLES. Softened just a touch by milk and hay. Beautiful fall scent.

Wow. You can really smell the cheesecake. Just a touch a spice. Warm, cozy and foodie!

Absolutely decadent. The spice is not too strong either as I am sensitive. You can smell every note right down to the browned butter.

DESICCATED FROSTBERRY PIE FILLING PERFUME OIL Commemorating our Black-Ribbon Award Winning Pie Filling, named Best in Show at the Celephaïs County Fair six-hundred years in a row! Plucked from the highest mountaintops of Leng, our desiccated frostberries have been certified organic by the Dreamlands Department for Environmental Concerns, Slaughter Regulation, and Sacrificial Affairs. Oh boy. I'm first. And I suck at reviews. Eek. Well, it smells very much like it's namesake! Like sweet sugary frostberries, sans the pie.....but there's a teeny tiny tony hint of mint or something "cold" in there at the very end of the sniff....kinda lurking in the backround. This is a strong scent!

Absolutely gorgeous. I'm definitely amping the tobacco in this blend, but the gorgeous vanilla and fruits in this tone it down and make it smell so elegant. Beautiful!
