Well after reading the reviews, and hearing it was a must-have...oh wellllll. On me, it is nothing special at all and disappears quickly. In fact, I don't even like it much. I'll try it again and see if it's just my mood or something. Probably my weird chemistry. But I have found lots of scents I do llove, so I'm not bothered

Wet: Lemon? lime? I love it so far. I totally get the Lemon Pledge reference I read earlier but I LIKE Lemon Pledge. And to me it also smells like the Persian lime trees we had in my yard as as kid- I would take the leaves and crush them and rub them on my wrists and on my dollies Drying: OK getting the lavender & herbs a bit- still loving it! Dry: Yum just yum this is SO ME!!!

YES YES YES YES OMG this is so freaking GOOD. Big thanks to all who recommended this to me when i asked for a spice scent recommendation! I absolutely LOVE the strong cinnamon start..it could stay right there and I'd be happy forever..but then it gets even better in a few minutes when the other spices and stuff kick in! I slathered this on the Man and then just curled up in his lap, put my nose in his neck, and huffed away. If he was a cigar he'd be a pile of ashes now bygawd! I want gallons of this stuff.

Soooooooooo not me. Didn't get any pear at all ..... On my skin, smelled EXACTLY like a strong lily-of-the-valley soap my grandmother used to keep out for comp'ny...... and stayed soap soap soap til I got a headache and took a shower. Love you Gran but I don't wanna smell like your bathroom

OOh got this as a frimp and ....wow..just wow. I read the reviews so I knew to shake it up. At first...wotthehell COFFEE ?? Then in a minute it settled into a lovely mochaccino vibe and I really got the dark cocoa and wood. And it has stayed true for a couple hours now and going strong! Must...get...more!!

MMMMMmmmm. I love my spicy scents, and this is a great addition. The nutmeg/myrrh combo is very nice on me and I can't stop sniffing my wrists! This is (almost ) as good as Silk Road! Lasts a good long time on me, too. LOVE!!!

The essence of ambition, covetousness and manipulation: sweet Bordeaux wine, blood red currant, thyme and wild berries. Ack. Not for moi. This is the second BPAL I have disliked intensely- the first being Akuma, another berry scent. Apparently, my skin does not like berries at all. Smells like cheap, artificially flavored cherry candy on me. Nooooo thanks. I'll go back to my spicy scents. I've learned my lesson!

The first BPAL scent I have really, really disliked. I love neroli, but I can't smell it in this at all....... Just a very artificial berry that makes me gag. UGH.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH MMMMMMMMMMMMMM Spicy flowers indeed, very spicy! Good throw, lasts and lasts on me, YAY!! I adore this scent, I am trying it on the Man tonight. I foresee a passionate evening! I LOVE THIS!!!

Lovely scent but I could barely smell it, even as I was applying! And in 5 minutes time, I had to put my nose ON my wrist to get anything. Hmmmm Light and unobtrusive scents can be great...but undetectable? Nah. I'm sure it's just me

Love a Victoria's Secret fragrance? Looking for a BPAL cousin to it?

I love Victoria's Secret Azurine- long discontunued. I've been getting it from eBay, and it's getting rarer to find. Imagine my deeeeelight when I opened my imp of Loralei- it is very very very close to identical! Or as my dear old Dad would have said: "It's as near as dammit." -
Ooooh just yummmmmy. I love neroli and it loves me back! Lasts a long time on me too----

Wow my 3rd BPAL imp. I've definitely never smelled anything similar before...at least, called "perfume"! Yes..... I'm getting the wet dirt....and...mildewy flowers? Guess what, I LIKE it!! And I sure wouldn't have thought so from the above description Gave the Man a sniff and he said"Hmm... smells like when we're digging in the garden and the dirt's all wet and clumpy...and fertilizer. I THINK I like it." Well....After it was on a while it mellowed out and we both liked it a lot! I don't think I'd wear it to the office....but for around the house on DIY day. Hey might as well smell great then too!

Hi, all, I'm very new here. Have ordered a bunch of imps for ME to try...whatever sounded good to me! Haven't got them yet but I know I will find some winners BUT... nothing for the Man yet. My all-time fave on him is one from Jamaica called Royall Spyce: "Redolent with the scent of clove, cinnamon, nutmeg and pepper that arrived from far-off markets by freighter at St. George Harbour. A heady, aromatic blend following a closely-guarded recipe that contains the world’s finest essential oils. Prized for its warmth and most mysteriously manly appeal." I LOOOVE spicy scents and this one just makes me swoon ... however has NO lasting power. What men's/unisex scents would be in this family? Doesn't have to be exact match; (tho that'd be lovely, this isn't a mainstream scent so I won't hold my breath) but MMMmmmMMM spicy! fruit, herbs, flowers at a minimum, just mostly SPICE And if possible, some that will last a while. Thanks!

OOOooh thank you everyone, for the recommendations! I am going to try (probablyallofthembut) first: Bengal Plunder Silk Road Port-au-Prince Crowley CANNNOT WAIT to try these little beauties, ahhhh! -
Eternal, on me, was anything BUT. Lovely floral that, so sadly, faded to NOTHING- not even a hint, in 2 hours. Ohhhh welllll.

Got my very first round of imps today and picked this one to try first. No reason, just chance. I don't have an educated nose, or not yet...hoping to learn but maybe you're born with it? So, I don't know enough to comment on the in-the-bottle, wet, dry, etc. differences.. to me, it has stayed the same throughout. It's been about 2 hours..... and surprise! I'm loving it more and more. I usually go for spicy, musky scents...but this is a very, very lovely floral. I do know the smell of frangipani and jasmine well...and, yep, these are them. This is a very feminine scent...my Man took a whiff and said, "Mmm, that does smell good...." high praise for him, to even notice! I will get a big bottle, for when I want to feel very girly and pretty and sweet. Edited to add: 6 hours later...I can hardly believe it, but this is holding up so well on me! Scent is still true and about 50% as strong as when first applied...I am well and truly DELIGHTed!
