    Grog

Oh, it IS hot buttered rum in the imp! It started out sort of candy smelling on me, then the sweet faded and the rum and butter were left. After a bit there was some baby powder, but not too much, and it went away again!! If only all the ones that turn to babypowder would do that! Definitely a winner! And it lasted well into the evening, too.

    Pronouncing "BPAL" and scent names!

I've had pagan friends since the 70s and have always heard Samhain pronounced "SOW'n"; that's how we pronounce the name of our kitten, Samhain. Oddly enough, we also call her "Sammy-fish" and "Sammy-cat" *g* Consistent? What is this "consistent" you speak of? Cats ETA: my kitty boy reminded me we also call her "Salmon". *g*

    Blood Kiss

In the bottle this smelled lovely: sweet and juicy and rich and spicy. The instant it touched my skin, it turned to baby powder. I'm beginning to suspect I am secretly made of baby powder. *sigh* And I wish I knew what it is about my chemistry that does this to such incredible, rich scents!

How to remove scents from your skin

I couldn't get the last remnants of the spicy baby powder smell off my hands at all last night. Then I cleaned up after the cats with Nature's Miracle. And suddenly the baby powder was gone, as well. Next time I have a "I need this off NOW" reaction, I'm reaching for the Nature's Miracle. *g*

    Gingerbread Poppet

In the bottle it's absolutely fabu -- rich and spicy and exactly what I was hoping for! I've no idea how Beth does it, but I'm in awe of her genius! On me, it was lovely for the first 10 minutes. And then suddenly it turned into vaguely spicy baby powder. Alas. Cats

    Bliss

Chocolate. Smells DIVINE in the bottle, although very strong. Chocolately and creamy and rich, and not chemically at all (the way every single other "non-food chocolate" -- as well as many food chocolates! -- has ever smelled to me). I learned from the overwelmingness of the oils I tried yesterday to dilute dilute dilute. I melted some homemade cocoa butter balm in a tiny jar until it was barely liquid, added a single mini drop of Bliss, swirled to mix it, and closed it up to set. Oh My Goodness. Soft, gentle chocolatey goodness in my jar. On me it it's fainter (in fact, I may have to make a stronger batch), but it's melted expensive chocolate, with a hint of something I can't identify that's rich and sensual and almost makes me moan with pleasure. I am blissed out every time I smell my wrists. It also *ahem* makes me want to drag the husband-cat into the bedroom. Badly. Too bad we're both ill... *growlgrumblesnarl* I will be ordering a bottle of this. Quite possibly a BIG bottle. Bliss is a perfect name for it this oil. Beth, you are a genius! Thank you so much for creating this Bliss!
