  1. This scent is identical to a bottle of Un Emile absinthe that I picked up while on holiday in Spain. It brought back some very happy memories. A light, green, slightly licorice scent. Excellent for daytime wear or a quiet cocktail party.

No Boo Hiss from me. :P I think Absinthe is a love-it-or-leave-it scent.

  2. I love this scent. For me, it was the perfected tea rose. Normally I find rose perfumes to be too cloying and almost sickly. Old London was a dry, light, crisp rose. Subtle and sophisticated, and very feminine.

  3. I didn't think the notes would be very "me" when I first read the description on the BPAL site, but I'm always willing to give Black Phoenix scents a try. I'm so glad I did! Delight is a lovely floral with a beautiful, powdery drydown. It is gentle and feminine and while it is lovely on its own, it layers gorgeously with their single note Carnation or Amber.

  4. The men’s answer to the sadomasochistic sexiness of Loviatar. It’s embarrassing to admit what a turn-on this scent is. Next romantic evening with the husband, he’s wearing this one for sure!
