The Sun is similar to Eclipse, both having the same golden heliotrope/cinnamon combination. But wheras Eclipse is boldened with a strong almond Red-Hots feel, the Sun is more light and resinous. It is sweet, warm and radiant. It's not the unrelenting sun of a shadeless desert; it's more like a single golden ray beaming down on you, bringing joy and beauty to an otherwise gloomy day.

chamomile / lilac / lemon rose This is a beautiful watery rose scent. The rose is darkened up a bit by something murky and green I just can't place... This smell reminds me very much of the paintings of Ophelia's drowning. It's beautiful, flowery, murky, watery, with an undercurrent of romantic yearning and emotional depth. Very appropriate for Cancer types!

I bought this because of the reviews saying it was like Angel, which I like. Turns out that it does smell like Angel but is pretty much an *exact* dupe of MAC perfume MV3, the one with a black lid. I had that perfume years ago and really liked it, but found it a little too overbearing. Xiuhtecuhtli is much more mellow. To me, this smells like a sexy, murky, creamy, mysterious dark vanillla blend, with a similar feel to Black Opal. Quite "commercial perfumey" yet sultry. I love it!!
