In the bottle: Cardamom and cotton blossom. First on: Cardamom, cotton blossom and something slightly tangy sweet. After a bit: This stays fairly true to the initial on me, and I love it. I know there isn't cardamom listed in the description, but I'm 98% positive it's in there, it's the same note I get that I LOVE in Whippoorwill. A bit more: This is soft, fresh, slightly spicy and clean. A pure comfort scent for me. This is in my top 5 for sure, and I'm glad I managed to locate a 5ml to purchase, because I'm going to go through this imp quickly.

In the bottle: Like wet earth and a dirty hamster cage First on: Like wet earth and a dirty hamster's cage After a bit: Like sweet earth and a dirty hamster's cage A bit more: Like sun baked grass and freshly cut slabs of pine. I'm not sure if this is so much for me alone, the husband likes it though, and this might be great paired with some amber.

In the bottle: Fresh and astringent, a bit of pine with lavender. First on: LAVENDER!!!!!!!! After a bit: Weird, it's making my arm tingle and my tongue slightly numb when I sniff it. Lavender, soap and.. talc. A bit more: Man this sucker is strong and should be used with caution. It reminds me of the lavender Umbra bubble bath, with something slightly herbal lurking in there.

In the bottle: Honeysuckle, and that weird bazooka joe thingy I get with a lot of these. First on: Soft, sweet, slightly powdery-soap. After a bit: It's sexy, clean, and soft. Still mostly honeysuckle and bazooka joe, but slightly askew. A bit more: You know, I'm not exactly sure what is going on with this, like a lot of the voodoo blends. A little rose, a little honeysuckle, something that smells like bazooka joe, a bit of a powdery soap....

In the bottle: Like sweet woodruff and lemon First on: Very yellow smelling, but like a golden yellow. Warm, sun bleached grasses and lemon. After a bit: If lemongrass and sweet grass had a baby, this would be it. A bit more: I'm noticing a shea butter in here now, with citronella or lemon balm. I really like this.

In the bottle: Cool powder. First on: Cool powder and violets. After a bit: There is something very perfumey about this. Like really fake violets (mind you, I know all violet scents are blends) mixed with talc. A bit more: Still smells like a violet talc. Dunno what to really think of this one, it's not bad, but it doesn't seem to be this chilly scent implied, nor does it seem to be very BPAL.

In the bottle: Fruit punch First on: Fruit punch.. wait, more like sangria, you can really smell the pomegranate and the pineapple. After a bit: The banana, apple and coconut are becoming equally as apparent. This is almost sticky sweet. A bit more: It's light enough not to be syrupy, it still has a sticky feeling though, there is an ever so faint spiciness to it now, but boy, it's like sangria without the wine.

In the bottle: Sweet, resinous and herbal. First on: Juicy plum and dark herbs. After a bit: The plum fades a bit, and it becomes this scent I can't really describe, it's slightly sweet, dark but carries a fresh light quality, I dunno. I like it though.

In the bottle: Honey, with the faintest fruity floral backing. First on: It's staying quite true to the "in the bottle" note, it reminds me a bit of Jezebel, the honey is very thick. After a bit: The floral and herbal note is coming forward a little. A bit more: Ya, this is reminding me of a note so heady Jezebel, I'm getting a bit of rose, loads of honey, and something lightly herbal, sage I think.

In the bottle: Ozone, salty water with a slight linen feel. First on: The linen comes out a bit more with an almost extremely watery water melon note, with salty clear water After a bit: As my husband said, and I'd have to agree with him, it's like Cthulhu's clean laundry. A bit more: This is slightly sweet, and light and fresh, and reminds me so much of Cthulhu and Kingsport merged with Dirty and Berenice. A wonderful clean aquatic scent and it's very gender neutral.

In the bottle: Hmm, mint with a bit of mildew? First on: Anise and mildew After a bit: Oh, this isn't bad, also another fresh scent, the musk and tea are making headway and the currant is sinking into the dermis giving it that "slightly sweetened skin" scent. A bit more: This is very general neutral and smells very different on me than it does my husband. My keeps withs this odd, but not repulsive licorice layer, with the musk and tea coming up the front and the currant laying deep beneath.

In the bottle: Aloe and lilly First on: Dryer sheets After a bit: This is a blend of BBW's Cotton Blossom and Demeter's Laundromat on me. VERY clean. A bit more: The lilly is coming back a bit, but this is Dirty's sister for sure. Fresh, clean, slightly sweet and bright white in colour. I love love love this and am glad I have a 5ml, but I should have gotten more.

In the bottle: Ozone, light herbs, white florals. Very fresh and clean. First on: Wow, I can't smell a thing. It's absolutely gone. We'll see how it's "properties" work as well. Edited to add: On occasion I got slight wafts of grape and rose, but other than that nothing.

In the bottle: Almonds and salt. First on: Salty almonds, herbs and something citrusy. After a bit: Something spicy comes through, as well as salty almonds A bit more: I'm not sure what herbs are in here, they're almost anise like, licorice maybe, as well as lemon rind. We'll see how Adm likes it, so far his reply was "I have my own salty nuts, thank you"

In the bottle: Over ripe honey dew melon First on: Now it smells more like cantelope with honey and cane sugar, very syrupy and sweet. After a bit: I'm really not getting much more than juicy, sticky, sweet melon swimming in cane syrup and smothered in honey. A bit more: The grape is showing a little, but it's still 98% overly sweet melon.

In the bottle: A heavy cream and suntan lotion. First on: Buttermilk and suntan lotion. After a bit: Alright, now the butter milk has morphed back into a heavy cream because the shea has come forth, the coconut also lingers about with a slight saltiness lurking in the distance. It's become more defined instead of smelling like suntan lotion. A bit more: Now it's gone back to smelling like sun tan lotion, but more refined.

In the bottle: Sweet and earthy, much like honey coated peppery moss. First on: Honey, vanilla, pepper, moss and patchouli is what I'm feeling from this. After a bit: This seems to be turning into a skin scent for me with a slight spiciness and the faintest floral note. A bit more: It's evolved into a powdery, peppery, slightly sweaty (but not BO sweaty) skin and is barely there.

In the bottle: Sweet, juicy apricot. Lets hope that this doesn't go the way of the labs other apricot scents, why couldn't this be peach? First on: Dried apricots that have been rehydrated in simple syrup with a whisper of white musk coming up the rear. After a bit: This is very pretty so far, it holds a child-like innocense for me. Maybe because I'm getting the orange blossom now and that reminds me of going to Florida in grade 3 and the bottle of orange blossom perfume that I brought home with me. The apricot is taking on a slight waxiness (typical of bpal's apricot for me) but the sharp freshness of the white musk and light floral of the orange blossom seem to be holding this together. A bit more: It's sweet but not in a sticky way, it's fruity but not in a candied way, it also holds a slight creaminess to it (vanilla perhaps?).

In the bottle: Lavender and labdanum, very antiseptic. First on: Labdanum is the stronger note here, spiked with lavendar and lemon peel. After a bit: Very earthy and slightly fresh. The sage is coming forth as well as the vetiver. A bit more: Hmm, the sage is dominating, as I thought it would, with the labdanum hiding under sheer skirts of lavendar. My skin has destroyed any citrus hints as well as any hint of sandalwood or frankincense that there might have been.

In the bottle: Mostly moss and magnolia First on: Magnolia, moss, a bit of rose and lilly. After a bit: This is a beautiful floral composition, very light and fresh, with a tropical sweetness and earthy tones. A bit more: The rum and bourbon add a bit of twang now, slicing through the sultry floral bouquet. This reminds me so much of the garden district surrounding Magazine's 4000 blocks, florals, booze and dampness. God, how I long to be back there. I love this scent, but boy, does it ever make me sad.

In the bottle: TEA ROSE!!!! First on: Tea rose with a hint of violet. The rose in this reminds me of the parts I like about Ace Of Hearts After a bit: For some odd reason this impression comes to mind, a dainty whore. It's mostly tea rose, but slightly sour, with a candied sweetness from the violet. After a bit more: Yup, I smell like a victorian prostitute about to turn her very first trick. Before the eye khol is streaked and hair is awry. It's staying very true to the initial application. I'm not sure what to think about this one. In some ways I like it, in other ways I find it quite appauling.

In the bottle: Very foody with a splash of violet. First on: Wet, earthy, spicy. I smell incense and sweet spices, with something faintly woody and green (which I'd say is the violet in conjunction with everything else). After a bit: Incense and cloves. After a bit more: The violet is now coming through as violet, surrounded by heady patchouli incense and drizzled in sticky cloves. I was very worried about this initially, because anything with cloves/cinnamon/nutmeg/all spice reminds me of Sugar Cookie (which I love, I just can't bring myself to wear it anymore, negative memory association), but this changes a bit.. still not 100% sure if I'll keep it though.

In the bottle: Violet and gardenia. Two of my favorite flowers. First on: The violet and gardenia blend together in a sharp floral with an underlying creaminess. After a bit: Wow, this is beautiful. Very feminine and gentle and is staying very true to the initial scent. After a bit more: The vanilla is coming out a bit more now, adding even more sugared creaminess to the beautiful balance of violet and gardenia. This is def a keeper and on my list of 10mls to get.

In the bottle: Hmm, it's like if you mixed wet leaves with Sugar Cookie First on: This smells so much like Sugar Cookie does on me with something faintly leafy underneath. After a bit: Cinnamon and nutmeg. A bit more: Smells like cinnamon hearts with a slight earthy twist. Quite bit more: This turns almost into brimstone on me after about an hour, not as revolting or strong. Not sure if I'll be keeping this.

In the bottle: It smells like butterscotch and pomegranate First on: Very sweet and sticky with a slight tartness from the pomegranate. After a bit: Sweet buttery goodness spiked with pomegranate. A bit more: It tames down a bit, but it's still a very gourmand scent.
