XXVIII (28) I'm not so good with the notes, but here goes... In the bottle, I get honey and a light green herbal scent. On me, I get a green, slightly "woody" scent, with a floral and some herbs and sweetness in the background? Now my skin is amping whatever the floral is to high heaven! I can see the dryer sheet thing that 26 and 27 had going on. The jury is still out on this one. I wish it smelled on me like it smelled in the bottle. Maybe it needs to go to someone with better skin chemistry! All the reviews make me want to try another couple of bottles though!

When I first got the bottle, off the Post Office truck, and hot from the truck, of course I had to try it on without letting it settle. It was HORRIBLE. Lemon! Bugspray! I waited a few days, and tried again. Once it calmed down, it's much better. It still starts out a bit lemony (I amp anything lemon like crazy), but not so extreme. It drys down to a warm, sunny, grassy-sweet amber. I don't get actual "hay" from it at all. A very nice summery scent. Not my usual. But I have gotten compliments on it. Very good for a day-time summer scent. And I'm betting it's going to get even better with age. I'm very glad I got a bottle!

Reviewed not for smell but for effectiveness... VERY powerful! I interviewed for a job, using Blockbuster, with a side of STFU in ritual to make my past job references behave, and wore a bit of High John to the interview. Went pretty well, but I came in a strong third (there were two positions). THEN I ordered Crown of Success and started working with it. A month later, one of the jobs turned up AGAIN on computer search, I sent my resume in, and they contacted me, and hired me, without even interviewing anyone else. Other person had left, within weeks, to take another job. I got my original requested rate of pay with no negotiation. Yup, could be coincidence. Could be Crown of Success. You decide. Updated: So I got the job. Didn't like the location. Kept using CoS. Person at the location I WANTED decided they wanted my spot, so we got to switch. I got the IDEAL location, (nicer office, closer to home) with more hours, too. Bottom line, I highly recommend this TAL. The scent, well, I don't really care much for it, but who cares when it works this well. The method I use, if anyone is interested, is to dot a tiny bit on each chakra point every day before work. A little goes a long way.

As the previous reviewer said, TKO is definately worth the $25.50 for the bottle. For one thing, it really, really WORKS! I am a hard-core insomniac, and although it doesn't totally take care of the problem, it helps a great deal, and is a major part of my sleep routine. I find that it stops my mind from racing at bedtime. Also, it has a very strong throw, you don't need very much at all to get the effect, so a bottle lasts a long, long time. I use it every night, I think I'm pretty generous with it, and a bottle lasts me almost 5 months. The scent, to me, is very comforting, as others have said, lavendar toasty marshmallows!

When I first put this on, it's all cherries and wine, but then my skin chemistry kicks in, and the fun starts. It goes through a bit of a "medicinal" stage, with the vetiver and clove kicking in, then it settles down to an incensey smell, with a bite of vetiver, a bit a vanilla and cherry wine to sweeten it, and just a bit of musk. It is a very "me" scent. A bit naughty, a bit nice. Definately in my top ten.

Not great on reviewing for notes, etc. But I have to say that this is the perfect chocolate/cocoa for me. Not overly foody, like Bliss, but not a dry, dusty cocoa either. It stays perfectly balanced between the two, all the way through. The other notes stay in the background, for me. I get a bit of sweet/floral blending in, and just a touch of spice. Thankfully for me, the sandalwood plays nice, and stays in the background, I can barely detect it. At times, I will amp sandalwood to high heaven as "pencil shavings". I also amp florals, but the honeysuckle and apple blossum play nice, too. So glad I snagged two bottles!

The smell of this to me--butterscotch! Up close, I get some mint, and a bit of herbal/woods, but from a distance, totally BUTTERSCOTCH! It's a pleasant enough scent to me, as long as it works. Edited to add I am impressed with the results so far. Used in ritual and am getting both personal and situational results. In plain English, things are moving forward, and opportunities are coming up for no OTHER good reason I can find... Edited AGAIN: After a year and a HALF, a job offer, EXCELLENT pay, flexible hours, not in the field I had hoped, but hell, I'll take it! Thank you labbies!

Baku, Lab Frimp (Thanks Labbies!) Imp: Eucalyptus! Wet: Whew! Eucalyptus! Drydown: Eucalyptus starts to burn off a bit, and lavendar comes out, and is that a bit of anise? As it dries down further, the anise comes out more, and the eucalyptus fades further into the background. Overall a quite pleasant scent. Haven't tried it for nightmares yet.

In the Imp: I get "spicey" honeyed fig, with some green wood. Wet: The same, with some deeper woods and damp earth Dry: A bit more "sharpness" comes out (more "green" notes?) and a bit sweeter. Fortunately, I don't lose the fig. The throw on me is very good, and it lasts quite a long time. On me, this is all honey-spicy-figgy goodness! LOVE!

I SO hoped this one would work for me, I like dark scents, they usually work well. It was not to be. In the imp: Dark musk, something sharp, a bit of opium, very nice. Fresh on the wrist: OPIUM, with a bit of the musk and must be the civet in the background. Dry down: OPIUM clubbing everything else to death. *sigh* Apparently my skin totally amps opium. So it's off to swaps. On the bright side, I now know that civet does not disagree with me.
