Freebie imp from the lab on my last order: Imp: Sharp Astringent Green. Almost bitter Wet on Me: More Bitter greens almost catching a whiff of the sandalwood. Drying down: Still sharp greens, somewhat watery Dry: Greens and smells like an herbal limeade. And then about half hour after...sandalwood and greens and limeade. It's interesting going on.....nicer after it drys. Not sure about bottle. Maybe I'll put this in the outbound collection

From an imp pack on a recent order: Imp:Heavy cherry almonf with a whiff of lemon Wet on me:More lemony now but still has that almond cherry in it. Drying Down: Powder ? Dry: No lemon, no almond, just powder. I like powder but was hoping for something more Throw:Barely any on me. Stay: Not long either This imp might make a good home for someone else or on a swap list.

This was frimped on my last order: Imp:very heavy. heavy cherry and musty and palest hint of vanilla Wet On Me: ugh. Turned to musty attic with clove Drying Down:the musty is leaving and vanilla is showing up now. Dry: Vanilla & musk now. Then it turned to powder on me. The beginning does not set well with me, but the end is somewhat pretty. I don't think this is a scent for me.

Another winner. This was from an imp pack that arrived last week. Imp:Green and grapefruitness Wet on Me:Grapefruit on a tree in the orchard. Barest whisper of tea and ginger Drying Down:Sharp but pretty. Then a wee bit of bitterness as if you had eaten the pithy part. Dry: A citrus orchard. Faint traces of tea and ginger but for the most part reminds of the citrus fields back home. Completely Bottle Worthy and could be hoard worthy too!

Oh the rapture that is Embalming Fluid. I may have just found the one I need to hoard forEVAH! In the bottle this is all lovely green and citrus. but not a clearly defined citrus... just lovely citrus. And wet on me it gets more green and citrus intense. And this stays very green and citrus as it dries down on me. It does not stay as long as I want so I may need to bathe in it, but the throw is awesome while it lasts This is beyond bottle love, THIS IS FOR THE HOARD!

Another Imp from Tartchef from her newbie pack! Imp: Dark, heavy with slight "tang." Wet on me: Violet & musk and floral. It is the dark and teh sexay! Drying Down: mmmmm Amber and violets and hark! some Sandalwood! Dry: A Florist's headshop of love! The Sandalwaood has come out to play! This is amazing! Throw: Awesome! Stay: fantastic I had just started testing this at work when a co-worker came in to check out the bead samples I brought for some commissioned pieces. Everytime I moved my arm Fallen would waft everywhere and I just wanted to sit and swoon and inhale it's yummy goodness! FTW! Gotta Get a bottle!

Another imp from my newbie pack from Tartchef Imp:kind of astringenty but sweet. Love smelling the pale musk peeking out. Wet on me: light musk & Sweet pea. Lovely and fresh Drying Down: a light floral-y musky sweet pea. Dry:Light floral loveliness I feel very feminine and girlie wearing this. Throw & Stay:Too short for me. Wish it lasted a little bit longer This is something that goes on the bottle list.

I love Tartchef. This is an imp from a newbie pack I got from her. The lady doth ruleth muchly! Imp: Crisp & Clean with touches of light, airy green peaking out. Wet on Me:more crisp light airy green now. Like laundry on the line on a spring day. Drying Down:Lovely. Light and still faint airy green. Dry:Crisp Linen sunshine on my wrist. Throw:Very good Stay: Also very nice This is a love it and bottle worthy. My bottle list is getting longer and longer and I don't yet have the funds to acquire it all!

Got this as a gift in a Snack Craving pacakge from Strangemodegirl! I lurves her for this! It was on my wish list and I'm so glad I tried it! Imp: Patchouli happiness Wet on Me: Wood & Patchouli Drying Down:the oak moss is coming thru with touches of the juniper berry then the myrrh Dry:Fabulous Sunny Headshop! A glorious woodsy patchouli with tiny hints of myrrh Throw: good Stay:awesome I lurve this. Totally bottle worthy!

This is a partial imp from my newbie pack from Mary. Imp:Floral. The lilac and White Musk blend well Wet on Me:Still lilac-y floral with a hint of the tobacco leaf peeking thru. Drying Down:Weirdness. Something unsweet and sour trying to take over the floral Dry: Sour. There are flowers trying to cover the sour. like Spoiled food, but then the lilac over takes it. Overall:I'm glad I got to test it, but not at all one of my favorites.

This was received as a imp in a newbie pack from Mary: Imp:Pretty. Nothing jumping right out at me immediately. Wet on me:Jasmine peeking out first, then the lovely rosewood, then the sandalwood. Each taking turns by sniff Drying Down:More jasmine at first, and then the lily shows up and gives me a headache. Then the woods take over Dry:Now powdery woods. This is nice once you get past the lily. Overall: Not bad as an imp. Probably won't get a bottle though.

absolutely loving this scent. Imp I got from mary's newbie pack: Imp: Floral and light. I catch the Neroli most Wet on me: Neroli/Orange Blossom. Reminds me of summer nights back in Miami Drying Down:still neroli but sandalwood is coming forward now. Dry:Crisp sandalwood and orango/neroli. This would smell awesome on a guy. Throw:Gentle Stay:Wish it was longer. Total Bottle worthy!

Imp: Astringent Floral Wet on me: Ginger and White blooms Drying Down:White ginger floral. Light and not offensive or cloying Dry:Beautiful ginger-yfloral. very light. LURVE! Stay: nice Throw: very light Totally bottle worthy!

Another of the imps I got from Mary's newbie pack Imp: Sharp, green melon? herbally Wet on Me: More Sharp green herbally goodness Really Fresh smelling Drying Down:Still fabulous and green and hrebally and oh so lovely Dry:luscious green. Still herbal, no melon from the imp. Still fabulous Stay/Throw: very delicate and so does not overpower. Stays pretty nice. Wrist is attached to nose tho. This is a keeper. Totally Bottle worthy. My Bottle list is growing!

Another imp from Mary's newbie pack I bought. Imp: Dark, heavy, sweet melon. Wet on Me: more dark sweet heavy melon. Sweet from the honey maybe? Drying down:now the tobacco kicks in. almost bitter scent from it competing with melon Dry: Total sweet tobacco. Reminds me of working in a drug store and stocking the tobacco aisle Throw:Minimal Stay: not too long Overall:It's okay, but I don't looooove it. Will probably put this in the frimp swap/gift pile

Got this from a Newbie imp pack I got from Mary here. Imp: heavy dark floral with a sharpness - Astringent? Wet on Me: White ginger to wet tropical flowers. a floral swamp. Drying Down: heavy Floral white ginger/gardenia type of scent. Dry: heavy almost but not quite overpowering. Spicy floral now with a dark lush wet tropical feel. Good stay. Almost now reminds me of Estee Lauder's Cinnabar. A winter floral for me. Bottle worthy down the road

Got this as a frimp in my last order: Imp: Floral. Lots of mixed floral and sweet but no one single note jumping out at me yet. Wet on me: Florals and green herbal to me. No defined fruit yet either Drying down: a big ole bouquet of soft sweet floral. almost victorian in feel Dry: Sweet & Floral with a hint of green undertones and then I get a good headshop incense. The non-patchoulie kind. Throw/Stay: Not bad not bad. Sticks around. This is nice as an imp. Could be bottle worthy. if I was gifted this I would not trade it.

Got this as a frimp on my last order: Imp: Powerful strong. Heavy sweet almond/cherry flavor with a tiny hint of myrrh Wet on me: Sweet almong and incense. Drying Down: Myrrh and musk over take the almond Dry: musk, myrrh and powder...and then a hint of Old Spice? This morphed into powder very quickly on me. Which I prefer over the almond. Funny that I smell powder and Old Spice now. One of my fave goddess' and as a perfume she's not doing anything for me. Will stay an imp.

Got a frimp of this from my last order: Imp: Rose but not too heavy on it Wet on me: Rose goes u nder and lotus blooms Drydown: lotus now goes sweet Dry: Sweet floral with hint of rose that went powdery on me Throw: not so much Edit: powder has now turned to soap. Soap is okay... but I'm not wanting to smell like soap. At least not today Rating: nice for an imp. Probably will not get a bottle....

I'll preface my review with this: Long ago and far away there was this men's cologne from Aramis called "Devin" It was teh Adore! My bf at the time wore it and I loved how it smelled on me. It was an LDR thing and so I got bottles of Devin to put on my pillow and wear on jeans and t-shirt days. Fast Forward....on becoming dry....THIS is Devin. OMGSSS!!! This is teh Fabulous! Review: In Imp: This smells very much like the pagan store I go to for my Tradition of the Witches Circle classes. Which to me is a warm and bright happy place. This scent is not at all overpowering in the bottle. Wet on me: Ozone and mettalic. Now changing to a masculine scent. YAY! Drying down: Spicy a lil bit, but not heavy spices. Light bright airy masculine spices. Dry: DEVIN! See above. Totally FAB U LOUS! Masculine yet, I feel feminine wearing it. So not girly. My nose is now permanently attached to my wrist. OMGS this is the forever scent. Throw: Who can tell since my wrist is now melded to my nose! Actually the throw is my personal space so it works. Ratings: TOTALLY bottle Worthy. I may have to order a bottle with each order I make. All your Bottles are belong to ME! Coldie I need a swoon emoticon!

Oh this is lovely. I'm so glad I got the back up bottle. Bottle: Definitely Dragon's Blood to me. But not as harsh like DB can be. Sweeter. I think the Lavender softened it. Wet on me: No Dragon's Blood at all on me. Now more a floral scent. More of the Lavender but not ALL lavender. Drying down: Smelling floral on one sniff, woodsy herbal on the next and then back to floral. But not sugar sweet floral. thank ged! Dry: Teeny hint of mint now and then. much more herbal and woody. a Floral Pencil in some sniffs. just lovely. my wrist is now glued to my nose. Throw: Personal. I can smell it in my immediate personal space but I'm not hearing coworkers sniff loudly and ask what is that they smell. Rating: Totally keeping this. Back up Bottle is the precious! Edit: OMGS I could still smell it on my wrist last night after my shower and this morning too! DANG! Talk about staying power! Dragon Moon 08 for the Win!

Finally testing the first imp I ever ordered from my first virgin BPAL order Bottle/Imp: Sweet but not that cloying sugar sweet smell. Wet on me: More floral/heather than berry. So glad I'm not smelling commercial berry over this. Bless you Beth. Drydown: Clean but still heathery/ It's a delicate floral but not artificial at all Dry: Huzzah! It did not dry down to powder on me! Has a nice floral sweet scent, but not quite as delicate as say La Belle Au Bois Dormant. And a lil more throw than La Belle as well. rating: bottle worthy for sure. *notes that on bottles to be ordered list* Coldie

I got this as a frimp from my first order. I've been sick for the past week and when I tried to sniff this past Monday to do a review my sniffer was all off. Finally I was able to properly sniff and collect my thoughts on this. Imp: Sweet. Fruit sweet but not sugary sweet thank ged. And it's not cloying either. Tiny hint of sharp underneath it all. Perhaps the pear? Wet on me: Still the same but now Lilac? Smells like an old lilcal scent my one grandmother had that I remember. This is light and lovely when wet on my wrist. Drydown: There is a softening of the sharpness and the sweet. Still a gentle and delicate flower scent that reminds me of a summer twilight evening at my other grandmothers and now I'm half expecting to see faeries and fireflies dancing and twinkling about my cube. Dry: Now it's just a faint teast of a scent. very pretty. Not too much throw on me I wish it were stronger and would stay stronger on me a little longer. All together it's a lovely lovely scent. Not one I might have highlighted in my new BPAL binder to try but now I'm thinking I might just need to get a bottle of this. Well done! Coldie

Oh heavenly bliss! In the bottle: Sharp tree/pine with a hint and tease of the amber and incense beneath. (I adore pine scents) Wet on my skin: Still a wee of pine/woods...such as how it smells at night in the woods. But the amber and incense are no longer teasing me but dancing to the front. Drying down: More incense and less pine. BUt oh so lovely. Dry: If I don't stop sniffing my wrists soon they will be come attached to my nose. Glorious. Incense now...and a hint of baby powder but nothing over powering. Pine has retreated its dance with my nose to let other goodness come forward to be worshipped er smelled. IF I sniff long and slow I smell past the incense to the amber and the lovely green herbal things.

Got this as a frimp tossed in on a sale: Bottle: Almost a very sharp cherry scent that I'm also picking out as almond extract. Also sweet like a cake batter. Wet on skin: Still that sharp Cherry/almond extract scent. Almost overpowering. Drying: Lighter on the almond extract/cherry thing..still very sweet....hints of it turning to powder? All the way dry and disappearing. Total baby powder on my. While I love baby powder I wanted to smell mysterious today. it's a very sweet baby powder. I've had 2 imps turn to powder on me 2 days in a row. Perhaps because it's heading to that time of the month and I should try them after...who knows. I'm thinking tho that this one will go in the box to be sent along when I start trading to someone who will love it more than I.
