In bottle it smells of cinnamony roses woof! On skin, it smells hot, turning to the hot creamsicle of Ahathoor that I loved so when I first tried it. The cloves are snappish in the background, the fir adds a sharp top note, and the tobacco is deep. This is quite extraordinary, I shall have to hunt down some White Rose, darn... EDITED TO ADD: Later, after lengthy drydown, this has turned to smoky roses. It reminds me rather a lot of Glasya

My notes from Will Call say "starts citrus, turns nice eventually, takes hours to get there". I think that citrus scent was a residue of something else I was testing at the same time at the shop. Today, it's very sweet and the vanilla flower makes it quite floral - reminds me a smidge of my grandmother (no, not the label, how creepy!). The sugar cane makes this an organic sweet, rather than a chemical syrup, and the honey and beeswax keeps it on the chewy side. Right now, it's in a bad place while it evolves, and as it was quite charming about 5 minutes ago, I am going to reserve judgement until it finishes doing its thing. Later: It stayed fairly scruffy for the rest of the day, although not unpleasantly so. This is not the sensuous TAKE ME NOW scent that so many other people got, alas, but it's pleasant enough. Just not what I'd expected from the listed ingredients.

This started out quite effervescent, chipper!guava!seltzer! Something has roughened, now it smells like fruit stems. I wonder if this is residue from the scruffiness of yesterdays Giant Vulva?? There is nothing in here that should offer this, despite someone above talking about patchouli. The throw is still light and fizzy, but sniffing my wrist directly gives a harsh rough smell. This is the only Atomic scent I was willing to own, since everything else is based in BARF rum BARF. Did I mention EW RUM? Thank goodness for gin!!

I found this to be a charming orange-based cheerful scent. After reviewing the ingredients, apparently Eau De Apricot smells rather like Eau d'Orange to my nose. I quite like this, even though it is not my usual (ie musk, patchouli, red fruit) idiom. This lasts all day and was still detectable come bedtime

Sweet and dark. Dry, rather than juicy. This is less than what I'd hoped for, but my boycat loves it. It's one of the few scents that he's hunted my wrist down for that he might lick it. Freak cat.

This started WHOA is that coconut? Oh, no, thanks gott, it's almond. Turned floral-soft, and then a bit soapish. It evolves constantly, but never quite rings my bells.

Chaos Theory IV: DXIX: Seller's description: Hard to pin down; to me it's dark red, a little fruity, heavy; a hint of booze, a sprinkle of powdered sugar, a spice I can't put my finger on, and something resiny/incensey AND a whiff of a floral, but not a perfumey one. Mostly spicy/smoky, but not woodsmoke; scented smoke. Somewhat masculine and a little bit clean and polished when dry; the fruit/floral disappears. For me: Dark red, with a pleasant sweetness. Gets rather soapy, but I can detect the shiny resin under the soap. Previously reviewed by scotchbonnet.

This reminds me of White Magick craft stores. It's a strong yet soft floral, with a touch of bitter acridity in the back of the throat.

Chaos Theory 3: CCLXXXVII Ingredients unknown. In the bottle, smells like those cheap chocolates you get with boozy liquor insde them. On skin, smells like rich chocolate and dark booze, with a touch of spice. Something about the spice reminds me of my mother's house, and I can't figure it out - something about the laundry or drying herbs or perfume or hand cream or a combo if it all. This is a reasonably quick fade, but it's the yummiest CT(3) I have scored so far. Previously reviewed by Kitara Rayne.

This starts out smelling like frosted granola cereal with sweet milk. Very powerful, as well. It turns somewhat smoky, continues to be strong, and turns to a Yankee Candle. Trade Bag.

A queer scent - it smells like marzipan, but ... not. It's a sweet chewy mildly nutty scent.

Complex much? This started masculine with a base of lime and a dash of old leather. Suddenly it became multilayered with sweetness jumping all over the lime. Then it was (I swear this is true) a damp paper bag (I am surprised there is no vetiver in this blend) holding limes and fruit. Hours later, it's rough and paperish, but any heat and moisture applied to it (like if I exhale lightly on my skin before sniffing) and the berries burst through for a brief exquisite moment. I can't figure this scent out - first it's masculine, then it's feminine, it's divine and then it's ok. Highly amusing

In the bottle, this smells caramel/melting brown sugar-sweet. Fresh on skin, it's pear-sweet. Like a pear that if you don't eat it right now will turn in an hour, and the flesh just melts on your tongue when you bite into it. It turns sort of soapy, but the tonka adds just enough depth to keep it from turning over. Vanilla cream spills out after a few hours, and then turns to apples & cream.

This smells soft and floral without being sappy. It's a charming gentle dusty floral. It smells like lace looks, and the color lilac.

In the bottle and fresh on skin, this is painfully coconut, but not sunscreen chemical coconut - it's a foody version. Almost instantly, a peach/mango scent bursts through. This smells like ... coconut cookies, with fresh sliced ripe tropical fruits laid out on a pretty tray on a warm sunny day. Too coconutty. Trade bag.

Yep. Orange. Lots of it. It's a deeper orange, rather than a squirting-in-your-eye orange, but still allllll orange.

This is hot creamy sweet potato soup. This is honey-glazed parsnips. This is the Thanksgiving table before the turkey comes out, warm and comforting and satisfying. Delicious.

Have you ever had a real egg nog? One made with actual eggs, high quality bourbon, thick cream? Not some plastic sugar-syrup powder-based confection found in your grocer's freezer every November. But REAL Eggnog? And a latte, with beans ground right in front of you, and farm-fresh milk? Yeah, that is what this smells like. And the nutmeg was roasted in a pan before adding it to the mix. This is intoxicatingly good. If only this were available as a GC, or even buy it this week or be lost forever LE, I know I'd buy at least one 5ml!

This started pert and thick, then it started to remind me a bit of the rooibos in "Spawn Of The She-Demon". Or maybe it's the red musk. However, now my wrist smells like I washed my hands in a woody soap, and then stroked it across my cootchie. Ahem.

This is definately aquatic, not quite along the same lines as "Spell of Amorous Love" or "Cthulhu", for that matter LOL but it smells like a beauty product. Quick fade.

This is a clear hard scent. Early on, there was a brief snap of a mild citrus. Pleasant.

There is apple juice in here. And pear juice. Fresh on skin it smells like apple jucie penny candy. And eventually some mulling spices leap through. Mostly, this smells like (once it settles down) a Holiday!Yankee Candle, but it's not the hideous chemical horror of a Yankee Candle, inducing headaches where'er it may burn. This is a fun scent, but not one for every day wearing. I love it good!

I am not getting any of the dark, earthy, or fruity notes. When first applied this smelled like thin earth. It started to smell like watery mud, but that (thankfully) went away. Now my left wrist smells like bamboo shoots, and my right wrist smells like flowers LOL I will keep it, but it's not a winner.

This is adorable. It's chipper and candy-sweet without being sticky and childish. The dark fruits help keep the pear and apple from becoming everyday. I love my imp. This lasted all day and all night, with my husband kissing me goodnight with a comment that I "smell like candy" WIN!

Wet, the combination of chamomile, clove and fig smelled like, um... salami. I kid you not. Thank goodness the eau de salami went away, but the fig, combined with the bamboo shoots, made this a not-successful scent on me. A quick fade, thankfully, Trade bag.
