    Cockaigne

Mostly caramel (reminiscent of Red Lantern), but not as strong, which is a good thing (at least, in term of office wearability). Then gloppy honey and hot milk. I'm not very fond of those two notes, but they are very light and not at all queasy. A lot lighter and fresher than expected, I really like it and I'm already getting compliments. A few hours later the wine comes in; but it'not the usual pink bubblegum I get, it's a hint of something sour and bitter - much more like real wine. A sort of subdued version of Red Lantern, genteel rather than haughty
  2. Bpal narcissus was a big surprise to me - it's not just a floral I can do, but the only one I positively love, apart from orange flowers, which though gorgeous I began being bored of. My favorite is Hades, but Darkness and Hunger follow very close. They are all pure daffodil to me, just with a different attitude. The Ides of March, after aging, is mainly jonquil - a fresh one. I've ordered a imp of Languor, and I can't wait to try Virgo - being a Virgo myself, but I'll be likely on holiday and far from any internet access when it will be released.

    Mad Sweeney

Mad Sweeney is absolutely amazing: how can a perfume oil with no alcohol smell just like it? After the first alcohol blast I get whiskey, I love its smell - my mother used it to add flavor instead of coffee - and not at all drinking it, the only alcohol I drink being exceedingly sweet wines. Drying down it becomes peat, at least what I imagine peat to smell like, whit a faintly sweet note. Incredibly comforting. I might consider buying a bottle.

    Tweedledum

I can't believe I'm running through my imp in less than a week. At first very sweet, juicy, tart and fragrant mango -the fruit of fruits -, then the fig earthiness joins in. I can't detect any tea, but I suppose it keeps the whole thing from going syrupy as some other fruit blends, and adds a "that's real, fresh fruit" vibe - as in my beloved Bewitched. Actually, I can see why my imp life is going to be a short one..

    Snow White

Coconut, musk and chill. Very white and creamy. No florals at all - a good thing in my book. The coconut is not suntan oil coconut, it's raher dessicated and grinded coconut pulp. It stays quite true, but it gets chiller and chiller. Long lasting and good throw too. At first I tought it was sort of too plain, and then I realized it is the Yule LE I'm wearing the most. Tender and understated, yet compelling. Definitely a winner.

How to make a paypal order.

If PayPal says something about exceeding your account limit, check your credit card expiry date before. I forgot updating my PayPal account, and I missed the Fruit Moon LE because of that. I e-mailed the PayPal guys, who answered *after* the Fruit Moon expiry date.

    Seraglio

Wet: orange flower flavoured marzipan; marzipan with tiny bits of candied orange peels; marzipan with orange liqueur! That is the almond scent I've been looking for, and it's not at all the almond scent I thought I was looking for. A breathtaking almond/neroli symphony; I almost forgot how well good ol' boring neroli would work on me; thanks to the Lab for reminding me of that. Then marzipan heavily flavoured with rose water. The rose swallows everything, it sways from juicy rose (neroli?) to rose dried by sandalwood. A beautiful rose, but I'm longing for the wet phase, and I can't fully appreciate it to its merits. On me it fades pretty fast - weren't rose and sandalwood supposed to be long lasting? I realize just now that orange flower oolong tea and almond flavoured black tea are my fav teas. Since Beth tea blends are so gorgeous that I've not been able to choose my fav one, if I may toss in my suggestion..

How to make a paypal order.

I'm not in the USA, so I can't order using the BPAL official site. I think it should be possible to buy LE using Paypal, but what about Little Lunacies? Lunacy oils last only 24 hours and I can't miss Peony Moon. I know it's a long time before Peony Moon, but if moving to the States is the only way to get it, I have to apply for a green card .

    Bewitched

On me, it is mainly blackberry and musk. I cannot clearly detect sage - but isn't sage a bit musky ? - and other berries. No green tea. I get the same juicy sweet and tart feeling I get from Dorian. Though very sweet, to me it's not at all Lush creamy candy; it's much more in the area of Blackberry Bomb, which I love, even if not so incensey - dry. As already said, it's berries covered forest floor flecked by late summer sun; homemade berry jam (I don'like jam, especially when home made; but things I would never eat such as white chocolate seem to smell great on me). It reminds me of the cherry syrup my mother used to brew with cherry leaves and red wine: very berrilicious, purple red, an underlying green leaves feeling. Something Arwen could wear in Rivendell. Good staying power and very good wafting power too.

    Hurricane

A frimp from the Lab, and on my wishlist. First I get a sweet and clean aquatic note - somehow between cucumber an mint - I suppose it's China rain; I love that; a whiff of vetiver ; but almost immediately on me it turns in very clean, sharp, strong, bold and high pitched laundry soap

    Queen of Sheba

Very almondy but not foody, with a green grassy edge - (Middle Eastern spices?); the honey/spices are not very apparent, it's rather a warm and sweet aura. The grass is sweet and aromatic, it's grass freshly mown turning into hay in a lazy sunny day with bees buzzing around. The almond is shifting in the background and the honey in the foreground - busy bees buzzing louder - no good, I don't like honey. No spices still. It fades very quickly; 1 hour and it's gone. ETA: I was so wrong about its staying power; after 13 hours, it was very faint on elbows crooks, but almost in its full glory around cleavage. Maybe it depends on where you apply it: I must do further experimentig.

    Dana O'Shee

Disclaimer: applied while hurrying to work, in the midst of Spring allergy, and my first review. Wet: I can see the Snowcake vibe, but Dana is warm, much sweeter and foody, while Snowcake is cool and slightly floral. Drydown: sweet and floral, almost cloying. Maybe because I can't stop sniffing my wrists very close Later: it's growing more similar to Snowcake/Smitten, with the same clean and almost crisp background, but it's still warm very foody and yummy. Lovely, but very faint. Finalit seems to have disappeared, but every now and then I can catch a wafting whiff, and if I smell my wrists it's just myself, only better. Much more better indeed. I think it would be great as a body lotion.

Computer free idea to keep track of your oils: - write the name or print the oil livejournal avatar/label on a blank address card - add a drop of chosen oil - store in a little box/address card holder/sheet with address card pouches

You can download "OpenOffice" or get a CD at http://www.openoffice.org/about_us/new.html the download is free and Calc (the OpenOffice spreadsheet) can read Excel files. I think Excel is a bit better for advanced users, but MS Office costs a lot.. sometimes there are students discounts.
  17. I wonder if Voodo is similar to Seaweed Sushi (face detergent, discontinued).. There is anything to compliment Sea Veg Soap? It lists lavender and lime, but to me it smells salty
