In Bottle: Sweet fruit On Skin: Interesting! It’s a bit fruity and a bit soapy… very bright! I get a yellow tone from this. I like the scent, I don’t exactly picture it fitting with the Baba Yaga character… but it’s interesting to imagine. The fruit is a bit pineapple-ish, and the soapy ozone notes are coming from florals I think. I like that it is so clean smelling… but I generally like more sweet perfumey notes… If anyone wants a fresh soapy scent that is slightly floral and fruity, this would the perfect match!

In Bottle: Super sweet pumpkin and nutty On Skin: This smells just like dessert. The pumkin is sweet, but the cocoa deepens it even further. It smells delicious! The hazlenut and walnut are light but still showing themselves. This smells like pumpkin pie drizzled with chocolate syrup and nuts. Use this as a room scent if you want to fool people you’ve been cooking. Tasty!

In Bottle: Sharp woods On Skin: This scent wakes you up with it’s sharpness. The pumpkin’s sweetness helps soften it but I still feel the woods are overpowering. It’s like a fireplace while you’re having Thanksgiving dinner.

In Bottle: Strong sweet and sandalwood On Skin: The sandalwood is the strongest note. It is very dry and woody. The pumpkin is there, but not as sweet as normal. This scent seems more masculine and harsh. I’m not as fond of it.

In Bottle: Sweet fruity pumpkin On Skin: Very Fall-like… a perfect room scent. I love the juicyness of the pomegranate. The pumpkin smells like pie with a bit of spice. Very nice, my favorite.

In Bottle: Thanksgiving! On Skin: The pumkin is softer here, while the apple cider is dominant. Having a nice slice of pumkin pie and a big mug of warmed spiced apple cider! I smell cloves and a light nutmeg. I would also like this as a room scent, so pretty!

In Bottle: Spicy myrrh. On Skin: This is a sultry scent, dark and spicy. The myrrh has a nice incense layer, the sassafras gives a rootbeer note, and the nutmeg gives a very nice warm spice. The black poppy isn’t very strong.. I do get a “hunger” from this scent… a real hunger because now I’m starving!! It is so intriguing and mysterious… once you smell it you want to breathe in deeper. It’s unlike any scent I’ve ever smelled and I’m dying to see what others think of it on me. It is a little mors spicy than I normally like, but I’m willing to try it out.

In Bottle: Sweet apricot candy. On Skin: This scent is purely delicious. It is so sweet! Honey is my favorite note and it’s strong here. It’s like an apricot honey syrup with light orange floral sugar sprinkled on top. I am a sucker for sweet scents, but usually if they’re too fruity they don’t seem like a “fragrance” to me. This one can easily be worn as perfume and not just a room fragrance like most apricot scents seem to me. It’s very young and girly, yet still beautiful and bright. It’s very light and doesn’t overwhelm. I’d love a bottle of this, but after about a half hour it completely fades… it has no staying power on me sadly.

The rich scent of wild blackberry breezing over gentle rosy heather. In Bottle: Berries and a light floral. On Skin: The berries are very strong. Sweet and purple… and very juicy. The heather is a soft floral that flows perfect with the berries. A very pretty innocent scent. It goes a little soapy on me after about 5 minutes, shich is nice and fresh and opens my eyes, but not really a perfume scent for me. After 10 minutes it’s a pure soapy ozone scent… hmmm… interesting…

In Bottle: Patchouli On Skin: Eek! Very strong patchouli, so it automatically turns me off. The florals are not sweet and actually seem a bit sharp. It seems very dark and almost smoky. I don’t think it fits it’s name, at least not what I would imagine Masquerade to be. Sorry, this scent just doesn’t work for me.

In Bottle: Cedar and sage. On Skin: I don’t like this much in the bottle, but I have to try it based on the description alone. On the skin… delicious. I want my man to wear this, yes it’s VERY masculine. The leather comes out as a strong note and the musk offers a sexy depth. Normally I don’t like lavender or carnation scents, but here they compliments the other notes well and are a bit light. Oh my, this scent is sooooo sexy!!! I am talking my husband into wearing this tonight without a doubt.

In Bottle: Lavender and Mint On Skin: Zing! This scent will wake you up. Super citrus and herbal mint. I can see why it is a boon for creative inspiration, because this scent will wake you up from whatever slump you’re in. The sweet orange seems strongest to me, with the herbal mint and thyme playing close second. The almond is a lighter note, in the background offering a sweet base. Wow, not something I’d wear but it would be nice to keep on hand for aromatherapy. I reviewed this again and got a little of a different feel from it... and almost no citrus: In Bottle: Sweet and herbal On Skin: This is herbal first and formost. The bergamot, thyme and mint and very bright and sharp but also slightly dirty and crisp. The lavendar is also quite dominant, it lends a comforting feel but doesn’t quite agree with my skin. The sweet orange tries to sweeten the scent… but only for a few moments because the herbs seem to edge it out. I can’t really smell the almond or it’s trademark cherry note, but there is a warm note in there that seems to keep the herbs from competely taking over so I’m assuming the almond is helping with that. I’m thinking that since this is a fairly old imp, maybe the almond has faded? All in all this is a complete herbal scent with a very light echo of lavendar and verbena. The orange and almond are non-existant on me. It’s not a scent I’d wear so I think I’d like to swap it. Light throw and short wearlength.

In Bottle: Carnation On Skin: This starts out a bit “Alice” like on me… that’s the carnation and vanilla. But the neroli gives a nice exotic note, and the sweet pea, stephanotis and iris strengthen the floral side of it. The apple blossom is sweet and dry, not juicy. The palmarosa is a bit tart and compliments the carnation well. This is a very feminine scent that is full of energy and seems very bright. If you like strong florals but want something sweet and not so tart, try this scent.

In Bottle: Sweet vanilla ice cream On Skin: I have been dying to try this scent for over a year now… when people told me it smelled like cotton candy. Sadly, it does not, but it does smell delicious. It starts as super sweet vanilla ice cream… then the florals start to come forth. The florals are light and not overpowering (yay!). This scent is perfectly described by the word “nostalgia”. It’s comforting and aged… like looking through a box of old loved things. Very pretty and womanly.

In Bottle: Spicy musk. On Skin: This is a very deep spicy resin scent. Very red!! I think I can smell cinnamon in there, even though it’s not listed as an ingredient. My nose burns a little if I sniff too close. I can’t smell the mandarin, but the plum is there although it is soft and not juicy. The benzoin and tonka sweeten it up a bit, and the patchouli is luckily a background note. I also don’t notice the tobacco note right away which is rare for me in scents with it as a note. Usually it overwhelms me. Wow, this is a very strong and spicy scent, a bit too much for me I think.

In Bottle: Lily and pine. On Skin: Wow. This is quite the floral scent. Nothing gentle or dainty about this scent, it is in your face and very powerful. The Calla lilies are strongest, which is a nice change since rose usually dominates floral scents on me. The gladiola also is a powerful note and makes itself known right away. The juniper isn’t as strong as it seems when it’s in the bottle. On the skin, it’s barely there. The sweetgrass gives a nice green highlight and fans of “grassy” scents will love this. This is a beautiful elegant scent that isn’t for the shy or anyone who doesn’t want to be noticed. After about 20 minutes, it turns quite soapy. Not my favorite... but still beautiful and clean.

In Bottle: Pine and fir On Skin: This scent reminds me of Skadi and Snowbunny right away. Not Ice Queen though as some people have said. Ice Queen is much more sweet and pretty and the pine is very soft in it, whereas in this one it’s almost pure pine. It smells like a Christmas tree! It’s hard to pick out the other notes with the fir being so dominant. Very cold and icy… it’s name suits it well. As the scent develops, the florals show them selves but still under the blanket of fir. This is the perfect winter scent, I love it as a room fragrance, but as a body scent it is a bit too strong for me. It gave me a headache after about 5 minutes.

In Bottle: Strawberry sugar On Skin: I Love, LOVE, LOVE this scent. It is so girlie and soft. It reminds me of gumdrops and candy. There is a very light, soft pink floral… the sweet pea I think, but it is so light it’s barely there. The sugar scent is very sweet and drippy, not dry and airy like cotton candy at all, this is a more fruity candied scent. The fruits stand out as well, the pear and the strawberry especially… I need more bottles of this… oh my!!!

In Bottle: Patchouli and dirt On Skin: I don’t like this one. I hate to start my review like that, but I hate patchouli and it’s almost all I can smell. There is also a very “drit” like note that is dry and not so pretty. The sandalwood is there, I like that… the Call Lily is very light… I’m a little sad about that. The yuzu is very sharp and along with the lime create a tart note. I’m thinking the mint is the herbal dirty note I’m smelling. The scent seems a bit medicinal and masculine. Not for me sadly.
-
In Bottle: Woody herbal. On Skin: The fig is nice, a bit dry and not juicy. But the black herbs really make this scent powdery and a bit dirty. I think I might smell anise in there? The description fits nicely because I am reminded of brimstone and fire right away. There is a smoky earthy note, and the entire scent is very dark. It gives me a bit of a headache, I’m not a fan of smoky scents.
-
In Bottle: Heavy floral. On Skin: This is SO strong it almost knocks me over. I would say you only need a little drip of this one unless you want to make people pass out. The lilac seems strongest to me. The rose has a sharp note but is still overshadowed by both the lilac and wisteria. Very feminine as most florals I smell are. I don’t think this scent is dark though… heavy yes, but not dark.
-
In Bottle: Strong bright floral. On Skin: This is so pretty. As usual, I’m not a big fan of florals, but this has so many levels and such personality. It reminds me of being a young girl and trying on my mom’s perfume wishing I was all grown up and wearing beautiful gowns with all sorts of parties to go to. Very feminine and elegant. The spices are light, so much so that I wouldn’t call this a spicy scent. It is pure florals.
-
In Bottle: Sweet and thick myrrh. On Skin: First off, I LOVE myrrh… but I hate cinnamon so I was a bit worried about this scent. I do like it as it initially is drying down since the myrrh is strongest and the cinnamon is just a bit spicy. The honeysuckle provides a nice sweet floral that plays off the other notes perfectly. The copal also provides a beautiful resin base. This scent is so neat, foody in a way, but dark and seductive as well. I’m dying to wear this one out and see what others think.
-
In Bottle: Honeydew On Skin: The honeydew is strongest. I love melon and this scent is super sweet and fruity. I think the vanilla is adding to the sweetness as is the peach blossom. This is a fruity scent more than a floral, the florals seem to fade pretty quickly. The tea is a little sharp, the only part of the scent I don’t like. This is very “nice” and feminine. A beautiful scent for sure, and very juicy.
-
In Bottle: Fruity sweet floral. On Skin: The plum stands out, so juicy and sweet. I love that… The florals compliment it nicely… This scent doesn’t remind me of mischief or wickedness though… It seems young and springlike. Very interesting… The orchid and jasmine are quite heady. The musk gives a deep edge, but not dark. The overall scent is a bit artifical though, kind of like Bath and Body Works products.
