Almost identical to Knave of Hearts, without the rose. Mostly buttery pastry and almond. As this dries down I can make out the apricot and cherry. It makes my mouth water actually.

To compare this to snow white is too drastic for me. Although I love snow white, I don't get any snow white from this. Snow Flakes is strongly mint, but its distinguishing qualities from the others is green floral. Could be melon, could be cucumber, could be green tea... but Its very fresh and clean, girly mint.

I think this one is the mintiest of them all! Along side snow flakes that one was very minty to me. Hypothermia reminds me of dead silence and cold hard ice. This eventually dissipates into an icy pale musk, not overly sweet or cologney. Love it!

This one does kind of remind of Coyote and Ivanuskka it has a raunchiness to it and seems a bit fizzy or fuzzy. A little borderline masculine, but sweet. I really like it but its hard for me to describe, it reminds me of a warm naughty can of Coca-cola!
-
This one reminds me of a frozen Death Cap, its more aquatic, and dominated by shivering mint. Although its lost most of its sweetness. It still has a tinge of rich wet ruddy soil in its depths. Interesting!

I'm not usually a fan of rose scents but this one is awesome and its not profoundly rose. I get the similarities in snow white but this is different it has a candy quality to it reminds me of those little conversation hearts. Its like snow white mixed with sugary rose candy. It lasted forever on my skin but doesn't have a strong throw. Its a soft and sweet scent, definitely need a bottle!

I don't know why but I really like this scent, so much I bought a bottle. Its hard to describe. I think the first thing I get is a bit of mint and light floral. Its a cooled concoction, consisting of mint leaves that have simmered in a pot of floral sugar water (but not overly sugary) with a delicate splash of green apple, lime, and vodka. Its a very a very "minimal" fragrance. As in minimal amounts of everything, I don't really get any strong amounts of any of the notes. The scent itself is detectable when worn, its sweet, soft, sheer.

I think this scent is playin games,.. mind games. Its totally awesome at first! yummy musky goodness, kinda like the musk in Snow White. Then it does go powdery, fast. Maybe that was the concept they were aiming for? Its one of those scents I keep trying over and over and can never decide if I like it or not. Occasionally the musk will peek out. I just might get a bottle to ponder.

Ok, it does smell a little buttery sniffing from the vial, but it changes once I put it on. I get tangy strawberry jam smell everyone is talking about, the strawberry jam softens up after awhile and I get a the "sugary glaze".

This is a glowing scent kinda reminds me of Whitechapel, but with lime instead of lemon and less musky. I don't know why but I keep wanting to say there is some coconut in here somewhere, ctrus, and a tiny bit of fizz, and I'm pretty sure it has lime. Sweet interesting scent!

Oh my goshy! First sniff I loved this! Stinky has that astringent sweet syrupy quality of honey, and the milk in this smells like rice milk very much like Lover's in a Rice Field. I didn't get much of a typical baby powder scent in this but it does have a tinge of soft powder in there. I tried Diabolical Offspring at the same time I tried this one and they seem similar, Stinky being more "tart" but both are very good!

CCLVII Its so good! It took me awhile to figure it out but I came to the conclusion that this smells like Dorian and Sugar Moon. -
Its really ...yummy! Snake oil and brown sugar head on. There is something else in there (forgive me, i'm not good with spice naming) ginger? nutmeg? allspice?! not sure but something like that in there with it. It also smells similar to 13, the one from Feb 2009, with the dark navy label, but less spicy, must be the brown sugar.

Candy Butcher smells AwEsOmE! It smells like fried chocolate doughnuts and coconut, drowned by a river of perfumed buttery cream, and gourmand dark chocolate liqour, then mixed with Midway and vanilla sugar then dusted with chocolate cocoa powder. Initially you smell the dusty cocoa, then the perfumed cream, (which is the heart of the scent) lastly you end up with a salty sweet chocolate Midway!

Velvet Clown is hard for me not to like because it really does smell like those orange marshmallow circus peanuts with faint wiffs of rum and grease paint, very sugary indeed. Velvet Unicorn outlasted this ones wear length but I still think I want a bottle of it? ....yeah i do!
-
I smell the pineapple first but its not too strong, then a sweet coconut vanilla and an array of tropical flowers. This is a very soft tropical scent, and fades too quickly on me.
-
Clove Clove Clove,... Clove tobacco perhaps. After awhile the clove fades and I can sense the dust and cedar faintly. It doesn't blow my mind but generally smells good.

Velvet Pink Kitty is mostly sharp alcoholic booze to me with sprinkling of sugary candy, me no like...
-
This one reminds me so much of Giant Vulva but less complex. If I didn't already have a bottle of Giant Vulva I would be getting this. I would almost say this smells of lemon curd and raw sugar cane floating in a bowl of skin musk with white flowers floating on top.

Wheres the vetiver? This smells awesome! I can see how it can be considered a masculine scent but that won't stop me. Dark and sleek vanilla musk with a glistening mandarin in its center spiced with star anise. Velvet Panther has a very faint woodsy bitter aura which must be the agarwood, styrax, gaiacwood, and vetiver. Deliciously sleek and dark. Second favorite Velvet Painting after Velvet Unicorn. Possibly multiple bottle worthy too.

It is very "green" and sharply sweet initially. Its kinda like Lush's Go Green but with something resembling a mint! Its very herbal but has a faint softly sweet smell to it. Minutes after application the sharp tang tones down slightly and it smells like a "minty" herbal salt water aquatic. This one has a bright clean scent after about an hour of wearing it, then quickly fades. I like it, but its not a favorite,... I'm more of a sucker for candy sugar and vanilla.

Smooth wood, sweet pipe smoke, tonka, and Irish coffee. First sniff sorta smells like Gluttony with tobacco in it. Miskatonic University comes to mind but, Velvet Dogs isn't as woodsy to me. It mostly reminds me of vanilla pipe tobacco stuffed into an old wooden pipe and Irish cream coffee with an added salty sweetness in there somewhere. Not so much an in your face scent but I happen to really like this one. Mostly it reminds me of my Godfather. I think its worth a bottle.

Velvet Unicorn is as good as you think it will be! It brings to mind a bowl of buttercream frosting mixed with tart cherry taffy, sprinkled with pink sugar and fresh strawberries then laid to rest on a bed of cotton candy. It lasted a long time on me and dried down to a yummy cherry vanilla salty sugar scent. This one will have to be my favorite velvet painting. It's my childhoods' long lost, pink candy, dream!

Initially it smells entirely of vetiver and orange "marmalade". After it hits skin the vetiver tones down and I mostly get the orange, mandarin combination sweetened with amber with a faint veil of teak and licorice blended with specks of bitter vetiver. Later the cinnamon makes a faint appearance. Makes me think of warm tiger fur!
