wow, delicious. wet, out of the bottle, i wasn't sure i'd like it at all. it has a sharp soapy bubble bath smell to it. it's sharp and floral at the start, but on and warmed, it's loooovely. the words that came to mind were "round" and "soft fuzzy coral pink". i can't tell what smells are in it, but it's warm and sweet, and soft and feminine, but not "girly". just like a laughing warm curvy woman. will definitely wear this one more.

lily/herbal floral. almost kind of grassy? colored gray like twilight. *reads* interesting that i got close with that assessment. i can smell the wood, and the ozone. other stuff, i have no idea.
-
burnt caramel? is it patchouli? some kind of incensey smell. def. some kind of spicy cinnamonish something underneath. *reads* hmm. that is the rum. as for the burnt caramel -- i guess almond just doesn't work for me as a note

i like this, but it's not something that i superlove and neeeed to get a bottle of. spicy, almost cinnamon-esque underneath. a much lighter scent on top -- floral? it's like a faded perfume. i know there's supposed to be some liquor in this, but i can't find it. it's intoxicating and lovely. i'd definitely wear this again. bottle would be questionable. adult and sultry. i like it. *reads review* i don't think pirate, nor rum. looking at the picture, i can definitely see in the scent a dark velvet chair in a bar with the perfume of a courtesan still lingering.

it's hard to fairly judge opuhi in the presence of upa upa. opuhi is sweet and fruity. for whatever reason the smell is circular to me. it swirls around and around... it's a brisk flirty sunshiney day, with a little tiny yellow umbrella the vanilla comes out as this dries. it's quite lovely.

love love love this one. i opened the bottle and my eyes got big and wide with YUM. coconut, cinnamon, tropical deliciousness. i accidentally rubbed the oil from my wrist to my nose and now my nose is burning. def. cinnamon of some sort! much later, i smell the rum. still good!

this is quite lovely. still floral. not rose. a brighter floral. it has a similar old musty book undercurrent, but not as obvious as in the obsidian widow (i tested these at around the same time). it has more of a tang of greased metal. so fascinating! as this fades, it gets even more lovely. i do like this.
-
faded musty floral. it's interesting -- old, floral, slightly decayed, reminds me of my grandma's vanity. i bet it's rose. fascinating. it almost has an element of corroded metal or rotting wood. i do like the scent but i'm not sure that it's something that would fit on me personality-wise.

lemon cake! yummmm. creamy light fluffy cakey lemony yumm. i'm not sure i can give much more than that. i'm also really not sure how it manifests as a lemon cake, but it does. yum.

interesting. i like it. this is a softer version of belladonna. there's the pine, but it's slightly more floral. i like this one. i'll have to do a compare between this and belladonna, but i am trying to get more of this on the small scale. lovely. doing a quicksie compare -- belladonna is more mentholated, the pine is there and super strong. saying that hex '08 was a softer belladonna was totally right. that powerful menthol note isn't in hex '08. hex is piney, but filled with light. it's not as much of a dark forest glade as belladonna.

(decant) this smells like a delicious tropical drink. a citrusy sweet mango drink. i think it'd be an appropriate scent to wear with a flirty flower-covered sundress. i wonder if this one comes out of the tiki bar.... nope! flotsam. funny -- this is one of the most drink-like scents i've smelled so far in the bunch. *reading the list* are you kidding!? if i flare my nostrils at it, i kinda get some salt, but i'm really not sure. totally strange! as it dries, the salty quality becomes more apparent. fascinating! it's a floral ocean, not an ocean how i think of it.

a frimp in a decant circle! incredible consistency. thick red syrup. it might just be older, but doesn't matter. it's still potent! a friend suggested this as a good cinnamon scent after i mentioned that inferno wasn't doing it for me. strangely it's so close to saw-scaled viper that this ends up meh for me. i want the extra bits that saw-scaled viper has. it's cinnamon with vanilla/cream (though upon reading the description, there's none of that... except for the cinnamon of course -- though it seems i'm not alone in smelling the cream!). makes me want to omnomnom but i know that's a bad idea. i prefer saw-scaled viper to this. it's interesting that others have mentioned layering snake oil with chimera, but no mention of saw-scaled viper!

lovely and floral. i have no idea what notes are in there (i think it's a light rose, but i'm not sure), but as far as florals go, this one is a HUGE winner on me. it's light and fresh. i like it a lot. *reads description* it's really strange because this does have rose in it, and i really like it. it's not overwhelmingly *ROSE* like some of the others with rose notes. strange that all the other reviews are saying it's super rose!
-
strong floral. i think it's lily and rose? i don't really care much for it. it has that "expensive hotel soap" smell. *reads description* oh -- it's sandalwood and rose. normally i really like sandalwood, but this isn't deep enough. the rose makes it too light. i guess i just don't like rose in perfumes because it makes me think of hotel soap. it's only been a couple hours, so maybe after the 4 hours mark, i'll like it more (if the sandalwood becomes more dominant), but right now, this is not for me.

tangy fresh pine needle with a touch of a floral overnote (ambergris?), and buttery warmth underneath (musk?). nowhere near as herby as belladonna, but in the same family. it's a very nice, light, pleasant scent.
