Peaches amber and cardamom, from the straight oil. I got more than the little bit of a whiff I was intending, since the box was scented with this. Yes, this one spilled, which usually means it is the one that I will grudge every last little drop the packaging and cardboard got, that I didn't get to use. I applied a bit to my hands and then rinsed them. The scent that remains is mostly peach, with some spice. It's nice. I'll give it a more thorough test later, in the shower or bath, though.

Mostly, it was the completist in me that made me get this one. Primavera is so floral all over, I might have skipped it on my own...except...I had to try all of them if I could. In the bottle, leaves. On me, the flowers rise up. I can't pick the notes out. It's a nice enough floral...but, it is still floral. I'll try it again on a day when my nose isn't as overwhelmed, but, I suspect there may be a happy swapper out there soon. Very VERY floral.

In the bottle I'm smelling cinnamon apples...or cider...? On, a sweet whiff of pine...very sweet sugary pine sap. All the other notes besides pine are just showing up as sweet. Temperature wise, this is still a cool scent. It is blending, somewhat. It is still a very sweet icy scent.

Wet, on me, lily and myrtle. Drying, it has blended into a sweet golden haze of a scent. The floral has faded into the scent (yay! I'm so very rarely a floral fan.) and I think the musk, vanilla, and amber are more apparent now. I'm going to have to try this again another day to be certain, because my nose is a little overloaded with the Vivaldi Special this afternoon, but, I think I like this one. -------- Just a bit later, the scent has had time to work on my skin, and mmmmmmmmmmmm! I can tell there's lily in this, but, mostly on me it is a sweet golden amber/musk scent with a touch of vanilla and sandalwood. This is looooove. I hope it lasts!

Flowers, flowers and more flowers. This also has more staying power(to me) than the other three atmosphere sprays. It is following me from room to room. Or maybe I just got a lot of it on my fingers from spraying it? I still think it has more staying power.
-
I think the temperature of the room dropped a couple degrees when I sprayed this...Pine trees and snow.

*swoons* Mmmmmm. Oh, a review? The swooning part didn't last long. The scent blended into the room pretty fast, but, definitely yum. I was pretty much expecting yum from the notes, though, since I love all those scents.

It starts out really lovely. This is an aquatic I could love, and it may possibly be because of the bergamot. I didn't get much eucalyptus. The bergamot didn't hold on. It's still nice enough, for an aquatic. I'm not sure that I love it anymore though. Amusingly, the ambergris isn't killing the scent this time....maybe it needs to be *foamy* ambergris to work on me?

Wet, it smelled green... Drying, I just couldn't place what it was I was smelling...I guess it is the blend of the juniper and the vanilla that is confusing my nose. Amber, vanilla, juniper and pine...so far I haven't been able to pick out the rosewood. It's strong, and ...interesting? I can't make up my mind if like this or not.

Wet, sweet leather. Drying, tonka! Woods, leather and tonka. Yum! Ah, there's the incense rising up. The tonka, wood and incense have really caught up to the leather. At the moment, this is actually a bit masculine for me, but, I have hope. The scent is probably going to last a long time on me, as well, since all the notes tend to be long lasting ones on my skin.
-
On me, wet, roses and resins. *crosses her fingers* There might be enough resin to keep the roses in line on my skin... Roses, but, not screaming roses. I have hope. I can tell the resins are there, but, it is still mostly a rose scent. For a rose scent on my skin(where roses usually scream and overpower everything for a while and then burn out and vanish), this is staying fairly nice. I think I have three scents now where the resins are keeping the roses under control. I won't need more than the imps I have. Probably ever.

Wet, it starts off all citrus and fruit on me. Drying, the grapefruit is most noticable, and then, it tones down as well. The whole scent is less noticable now. I have to really sniff to find it. There's still wood and tea and leather, with a slight hint of citrus. It's still nice, it just would require slathering it to be noticable.

Wet, on me, Jasmine. Drying, still jasmine. I don't seek out florals, usually, but, I actually do like jasmine, sometimes. I like honeysuckle all the time, because the house that I grew up in had lots of honeysuckle all around it. This smells more like jasmine so far, though. This might do very well as THE jasmine scent if it holds up as it is. Beautiful so far. Beautiful, but, it fades really fast on me. Anathema, with the honeysuckle and the opium, lasts better on my skin than this.

Wet, on me, vanilla and sweet pea. It is a very soft scent. Drying, I can begin to smell the sandalwood. This is still a very soft scent.
-
Wet, mandarin and fig. Drying, the fig is fading, and the mandarin might vanish with it. Within three minutes, it is pretty much gone altogether. My skin ate it.
-
Wet, on me, almond. It's the wet almond scent that makes me think of cherries rather than nice roasted almonds. *taps her feet impatiently waiting on this scent to pass* Alright, the almond is fading. Slightly. I think I smell the lotus, musk and the myrrh, now. Maybe the other spices are peeking out. The amber and myrrh are warming up and, ah yes, that is much better. Once the almond backs off a little this is a lovely spicy golden scent, with some potential to hang around a while on my skin, since ambers and myrrh seem to last on me. The throw is moderate.
-
Wet, on me, spices...and the amber is warming up with them quickly. It's a warm, spicy, golden scent...and I love it already. Barring any unfortunate scent morphs, this is going straight to my "LOVE IT!" pile.

On me wet, sweet honey, sugar cane and sugar. Drying, the flowers come forward, along with the wine and champagne grapes. The musk has shown up. I can't pull any of the other notes out of the blend anymore; it's a sweet, musky floral scent. Very nice! From the notes listed, this also has a chance to be a long lasting scent on me. I hope.

Rum, butterscotch and coconut! On my skin, this is similar to the way that Red Lantern 08 starts off. Usually, on my skin, with Red Lantern the sweetness makes way for the tobacco, but here, there's no tobacco for it to make way for. When my Red Lantern finally gives out, this *might* do as a GC replacement. Or, part of a GC replacement. I don't like it *quite* as much as Red Lantern, but that's a LE and this is GC. ~edit~ Or, perhaps not. In the immortal words of Jack Sparrow, "but, why is the rum gone?" What remains is the scent of the empty, dry, cask.

In imp, sweet something... On me, wet, even sweeter. Vanilla? Vanilla floral, with...something ...musky or aquatic? This is...very interesting and nice. Part of the reason I got this was to test whether ambergris was making another scent I thought I'd like vanish. This one is starting out fairly strong, though...Oops, may have spoken too soon, the entire scent is fadingrapidlydowntoavery faint floral scent. Hm. Well. It's still a nice scent, but, now it is a very very very faint one. Drat.

On me, wet, soft...quiet myrtle and very soft flowers. I can't pick out the individual blossoms. Drying, the amber is warming up. So far, this is such a quiet scent that I can see wearing it on days when I don't want anyone to know I have any perfume on at all. No throw that I can detect; it is all right next to the skin. I like it, which is good for a floral(I don't like many) but it is so very soft. The imp is a keeper, I think, but it is so very soft! ~edit~ It isn't quite as soft now, and the carnation is coming forward. I still like this one. It has potential to be a long lasting scent as well, since many scents that have amber tend to last and last on me. ~second edit~ So, I first tried this in July of last year. Now it is March, and I dug out the imp to try again. Is this even the same scent? Wow! Amber and I have issues, sometimes. It is wonderful and lasts, or it goes wonky...and still lasts. Aging seems to really really help. Now that this is over 7 months old, this imp is amazing. Myrtle and carnation and a nice stable base of amber. It is still quiet enough to do well in situations where I don't want to hit people over the head with my perfume, but, it is now strong enough for me to smell without sticking the back of my hand directly under my nose.

Jicama and maybe something slightly woody. There might possibly be cedar or coconut in it...maybe, but, to me it has the juicyness and the woody skin of a jicama. Do they even sell jicama essential oil? Drying, it smells slightly like there might be chili pepper on that jicama. A very very slight amount. Jicama is a large brown root with crisp white flesh that I often peel and slice into sticks for dipping into ranch or onion dip. It has a rougher texture than a turnip, more water content(I think) and doesn't really taste anything like a turnip. It can be about that size, or larger, depending on the jicama and the turnip. Jicama is slightly sweet, refreshing and crisp. Rooty fruit indeed. =) *sniffs arm again* Yeah. Jicama.

Leaves. Definitely the smell of leaves, and maybe just a touch of smoke.
-
I tried this on the back of my hand, and will try it in the shower or bath later. On me, molasses, patchouli, sage and sweetgrass. Ooooh. There's almost an anise note coming forward. It's probably a combination of other things but it's interesting. Drying, it's a sweet, earthy, grassy scent. I reeeeaaaally like this so far. On the skin, it eventually ended up all sage. Bleh. =( ---- Used in the shower, Cedar, molasses and patchouli. Much, much woodier and earthier than straight on the skin. If only it stays like this.... As the water dries, the scent becomes more just patchouli and cedar, a drier, warmer, scent. If the sage doesn't ambush me, this bottle is not going to last long at all.

In the bottle, candleshop apple and spices. Wet, on me, patchouli, smoke and apples. Alrighty, now that the myrrh is kicking into gear...Myrrh, apples, fig(I think), with smoky patchouli in the background. This is interesting. Once it hit my skin any hint of candleshop vanished. The scent is still morphing a bit. Sometimes it takes a half hour to an hour for myrrh to decide what it is going to do for me. So far it is a spicy scent with just enough fruit to sweeten the just enough smoke to make things interesting and different. It's all the smells I like in the stores in autumn without all the chemically overtones. Being that I live in the middle of suburban S.Cal where the mall experience of autumn is pretty much what I get, I have a harder time comparing it to the scent of actual orchards, fall color, and burning leaves. I like! I think I will like it even more once the weather cools off a bit and the Xmas shopping season begins(When you don't have real weather, only climate, that's the first reliable sign of summer ending).
