price rises do not bother me as long as i can still get the things i love!!! lush keep raising their prices but seeing as how i love their stuff and it works for me than i'll pay up. i feel the same about BPAL...these oils make me smell lovely (even if i do say so myself ) and I feel different amongst the swathe of gucci/chanel/burberry wearers. nothing against those scents per se i just prefer to smell a little different to everyone else!! i think its a disgrace you make so little on your oils, its still a business after all!! changing the postal service provider sounds like a darn good idea too!! i must say the new oils sound gorgeous...but it just leaves me with an ever increasing list now! (mind you is that necessarily a bad thing???!!! LOL!!) best of luck!! claire xxx

I ordered March 13th, and my order was shipped April 3. My order hasn't arrived yet, but I expect it within a few days. (I'm in Canada) Since you ordered a few days later, yours quite likely went out within a few days of mine, and considering that allorders from 3/20 and prior are en route now, I would wait a bit, as it's probably winging it's way across the globe to you as we speak! LOL!!! thanks i think i just need to learn patience !! It wsa on its way, mr postie was driving up from the sorting office as i typed!!! on the 17th march I ordered (and paypal-d for) 8 x 5mls and 6 Imps Ears and the shipping charge (to the UK) was $10...very reasonable i say!! just awaiting a shipping confirmation email now!! claire xxx

i quite agree! just like i'd be more than happy to cover the cost of insuring the packages - i would be more than happy to sign for my parcels too - both sides are protected then! i don't know how it'll work for an overseas order (i'm in th uk) but i think its a good idea!!! claire xxx

How you found out about BPAL - through Lush forum Any comments you'd like to add about the Lab or life in general: the oils are unique & heavenly and smell unlike any of the commerical/synthetic crap floating around at the mo! can't use spray fragances too often as they irritate me too much but these oils are a blessing!! I love the design, the forum & the devotion of beth towards her products & customers!! i was addicted from the 1st sight of the website and from the moment i sniffed my 1st oil!!! fave motto at the moment is "tomorrow is always fresh with no mistakes in it..." and "try everything at least once!!"

Yes!! Thats exaclt the note I keep picking up on!! Its an alluring strong fragrance...you only need the teeniest of dabs!! I can't isolate the notes in this blend but its beautiful and damned attractive!!! Yet to test on my man but the parents liked it a lot!!! My mum wants to try some now !! Its a heady fragrance and very warm and very sweet but not sickly at all!! Delicious, so glad I have a 5ml of this!!! *rubs hands with glee* Claire xxx

This is a sparkling light scent...to me it smells identical to Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea fragrance (as Im sure Lucytalk did tell me it would do ) -its very fresh and lemony and yes underneath it does have a hint of furniture polish as bizarre as it .. At some points it was faintly smokey too!! Quite complex for a scent that gives the impression its just light airy & fresh!!! Claire xxx

i'm slowly learning not to judge a BPAL scent on the first sniff !! My first sniff of Blood Rose made me go "bleugh" and so I put it away and tried Persephone & Spellbound first (both divine). But today I decided to go for it and dabbed on some Blood Rose...oh how wrong was I??? Wet -rich, fullsome, delicious & rosey - its a gloriously fruity rose. Dry down -soft , floral -delicate and full of surprises (it must be the red wine & dragon's resin)& long lasting too! Hours later - its still wafting up and smells gorgeous ...if Black Rose did the trick with my man the other night( ) I can't wait to try this on him!!!! So I know what you mean quinkel!!! This has surprised and delighted me...a deliciously sensual (IMHO) rose blend - must buy a 5ml bottle now!! Claire xxx

I have sent off 3 orders now and heard nothing but its no longer a problem because i'm going to order online now.....YIPEEEEE!!!! Fisrt sniff from the bottle made me heave to be honest ...far too almondy and sickly almost like vomit IMO !! Then I dabbed some on and almost within seconds it had transformed...amazing !! I can no longer detect the dominant sweet almond but its a more elegant spicey orange (albeit a slighly musty orange!!) on me now but with a heavy floral undertone. Its tickling my nose a bit and unlike say Perspehone or Spellbound I can barely smell it on me unless I sniff my wrist!! Its much nicer when it goes onto my skin...will wait for the proper dry down and test it some hours later... note - some 7 hours later I can no longer smell it on me - unlike perspehone or spellbound or black rose which lasted throughout the day and until bedtime!! It smelled very nice & light a couple of hours in but faded on me too quickly which is a shame but since commercial/synthetic fragrances fade fairly quickly too I shouldn't complain!! Its still one to buy it even if I have to top up !! Claire xxx

YES!! Thats exactly the feeling I'm picking up from this fragrance blend it reminds me of the shops I mooched around in Provincetown in Cape Cod - I wished I could figure out the complexities of that distinct "hippy" aroma - and here it is... but balanced by my favourites... rose! ...a warm delicate musky hippy rose and something to lift it on the end ... its warming and also its smells familiar ...Beth does something magical with her rose blends as its a lovely fragrance...very feminine...this is a keeper! Perspehone is so juicy & beautiful...its unlike any rose blend I have ever smelled before. For me it conjures up a heady fruity floral medieval scent, wafting up through layers of lush velvets & fabrics as I wander round the gardens at the Tudor courts playing games of courtly love! Wasn't the pomegranate one of the fated 6 wives symbol?? Wish I could remember which one now!! It might have been Katherine of Aragon!! Its rich and yet its not cloying...its fruity and sweet yet ripe & rosey. I definitely need more than an Imps Ear of this fragrance!! Claire xxx
