First, I was reluctant to even open the frimp when it arrived...cinnamon + me = not pretty. (doesn't help that I detest hot tamale candies & the boy hates cinnamon anything). Needless to say, I would not have picked this scent in a million years. In the imp: Uhm...no cinnamon at all. All minty & tingly to my nose...reminds me of something. Wet: OMG its a wintergreen livesaver! Ok, now how cool is that! Dry: Fading quick, still wintergreen. No peek of cinnamon, hope it stays that way

In the Bottle: Funny lemon something, not sure this is going to be good (I am the lemon pledge queen whenever I touch lemon scents) Wet: Lemony (uh-oh) Dry: Baby powder through & through. Overall: I am kinda at a loss. I couldn't find any orange, or neroli or clove. Nada. There is no way I tried the wrong thing by mistake (its a fresh labeled imp). I guess when one isn't suited to me it makes it very unquestionably clear. (Well, at least Samhain told me it loved me yesterday, so nee-neer)

Imp: Butter and sweet like caramel. Wet: Buttery cake Dry: Each sniff gives a different facet, like all the different sparkles one sees when they move around a diamond. Very neat. Overall its like caramel coated popcorn, but a second sniff had an undercurrent of cherry and almost a touch of some spice. Not turkey or funny food as far as I can smell, but just sweet foody-ness..def. buttery caramel popcorn. Overall: Here I thought Eat me was going to be the amazing one, and that Drink me would be too busy. But strike that and reverse it, this one is magic.

Got an imp of La Petite Mort from a swap today. I am not sure if powder is the smell of failure, but that's all I have got to show from this imp. The same fate befell me when trying out Erato, so perhaps its a hint that these girls just aren't for me. Very sad.

Even before she arrived, I knew I couldn't possible love her as much as her sister Snow White. Still when Rose Red landed in my letterbox, I was smitten in another way. She isn't just another rose perfume. Rather she carries with her that green smell, one gets when you snap a rose of the bush. The smell of the sap & disturbed or awoken rose as its liberated from the bush & stolen away by human hands. Amazing, how can someone make a perfume to capture an instance. ...and how can a rose perfume conjure the all day feeling that someone at any moment might realize that it was I who stole away the roses

Oh dear. Snake Oil seems love everyone...well everyone but me. I have been all about vanilla for ages. Snake oil was a new twist and sounded like it was for me. But my swap was for naught, as Snake Oil went on like some pungent liquorice /medicine smell. And checking it now, it has so remained. Tragic.
