Well, it started out as very floral to me in the bottle. Some of the fruit was coming in, as well as the ozone. But mostly flowers. Wet on, still the exact same thing. Then it dried... three words: death by flowers. Damn, my skin just took the flowers and OVER powered it. I seriously thought I'd had a thousand different flowers shoved in my face at once. Not very pleasant. And' it didn't mellow at all. So, unfortunately, this is swapping.

Wanted to try this because, well, of the description. I was in a voodoo mood. In the bottle: Wow, this is strong. Definitely a rum scent. I can kind of pick out the almond, but mostly rum. Wet: Wow, lots of almond. A little spicy and a bit of rum. Something sweet in it too. ...Vanilla? o_O Where did that come from? Dry: Don't know where that vanilla went, I just got a few whiffs. o_o Maybe my nose was off... Anyway, it's now mellowed out into a spicy, mild rum. (A few minutes later..) Wait, I think I'm getting the incense people talk about. It's barely there and mostly covered up by the sweetness and spices. Conclusion: This would be good scent for when I'm feeling like wearing my Hawaiian shirts. That would be nice. Maybe a 5 ml, but no more than that. At the very least, I'm keeping the imp. UPDATE: Argh... I believe this is what people mean when they say a scent turned "soapy". About fifteen minutes in and there is this bad soap smell. Damn. Guess I'm trading this... T_T

I got it because many people said it was a "dangerous" blend to wear. I like dangerous. In Bottle: Dragon's Blood and Vetiver. It's exceptionally strong, and that's all I smell. Wet: Ok, time for me to use non-scent related imagery first. Think of some primal animal who has just pounced on its prey. Something dangerous, like a panther or a lion. That's what it is. I'm really getting the Dragon's Blood and cinnamon with the vetiver. It's very strong and very powerful. Dry: Ok, now the panther has had its meal, and is content to lie there for now. Although it's no less dangerous, just not attacking anything right now. I'm getting more musk now, but the dragon's blood is still there. I love dragon's blood. The patchoulli is coming out too, and the vetiver is floating in the background. Conclusion: I definitely have no use for a large bottle of this; it's not exactly an everyday scent. But, for that extra spice for when I'm writing or doing other things, this is wonderful. Definitely keeping the imp.

Woo hoo, my first review. In Bottle: Woah. Melon. That's all I smell. There might be something edgier in the far background, maybe the tobacco or gin, but it's mostly melon. Wet: This is... busy. The melon is still really there, but it's like the tobacco, juniper and gin are trying really hard to catch up. No sign of the honey or chili though. Not unpleasant at all so far, but it's not for me if it stays this fruity. Dry: Wow, this morphed. You can still smell the melon, but it stepped back a lot. The sweetness has mellowed out to something much better with the tobacco and gin coming out with the juniper just there. Occasionally, I'm catching the honey and chili now. I'm really starting to like this. Later: The melon is barely there, with all the other scents mixing to create a nice, mellow blend. Conclusion: I need a big bottle. Soon. And I'm definitely wearing this to work, should smell better than bagels.
