Why waste time chanting her name in the mirror 13 times? Bedevil your next slumber party the easy way! Chunky, glistening red fruits with sweet cream accord, black clotted cherry, and powdered sugar! First of all I must Squeeeeeee in shock because I almost did not order this but decided to at the last minute, and now I am really glad I did because the art on the bottle looks a lot like ME! (Well, me if I had lots and lots of black eye make up on and bloody eyes... ) Right out of the bottle this is dripping sweet dark cherry syrup and yummy creamy vanilla. *orgasms* This smells just like a black cherry/vanilla ice cream desert that would be doused with cherry liquor and brought to you set on fire...omg so good! After a few minutes the cherry fades and the powdered sugar comes out in full force. (I am totally in awe because it really, really does smell just like powdered sugar!) On me this phase lasts the longest and it doesn't morph any more. It stays a gorgeous sugary creamy scent with a hint of dark cherry. Conclusion? This is cherry vanilla heaven! Must. Have. More.

In the moonlight opposite me were three young women, ladies by their dress and manner. I thought at the time that I must be dreaming when I saw them, they threw no shadow on the floor. They came close to me, and looked at me for some time, and then whispered together. Two were dark, and had high aquiline noses, like the Count, and great dark, piercing eyes, that seemed to be almost red when contrasted with the pale yellow moon. The other was fair, as fair as can be, with great masses of golden hair and eyes like pale sapphires. I seemed somehow to know her face, and to know it in connection with some dreamy fear, but I could not recollect at the moment how or where. All three had brilliant white teeth that shone like pearls against the ruby of their voluptuous lips. There was something about them that made me uneasy, some longing and at the same time some deadly fear. I felt in my heart a wicked, burning desire that they would kiss me with those red lips. It is not good to note this down, lest some day it should meet Mina's eyes and cause her pain, but it is the truth. They whispered together, and then they all three laughed, such a silvery, musical laugh, but as hard as though the sound never could have come through the softness of human lips. It was like the intolerable, tingling sweetness of waterglasses when played on by a cunning hand. Unquenchable desire, seething lust, malevolent sexuality, and voracious hunger lurking beneath a shimmering veil of unearthly beauty: gleaming skin musk, honey and white amber, plum blossom, osmanthus, sandalwood, calla lily, and a light, sensual blend of Eastern spices. I lay quiet, looking out from under my eyelashes in an agony of delightful anticipation. The fair girl advanced and bent over me till I could feel the movement of her breath upon me. Sweet it was in one sense, honey-sweet, and sent the same tingling through the nerves as her voice, but with a bitter underlying the sweet, a bitter offensiveness, as one smells in blood. I was afraid to raise my eyelids, but looked out and saw perfectly under the lashes. The girl went on her knees, and bent over me, simply gloating. There was a deliberate voluptuousness which was both thrilling and repulsive, and as she arched her neck she actually licked her lips like an animal, till I could see in the moonlight the moisture shining on the scarlet lips and on the red tongue as it lapped the white sharp teeth. Lower and lower went her head as the lips went below the range of my mouth and chin and seemed to fasten on my throat. Then she paused, and I could hear the churning sound of her tongue as it licked her teeth and lips, and I could feel the hot breath on my neck. Then the skin of my throat began to tingle as one's flesh does when the hand that is to tickle it approaches nearer, nearer. I could feel the soft, shivering touch of the lips on the super sensitive skin of my throat, and the hard dents of two sharp teeth, just touching and pausing there. I closed my eyes in languorous ecstasy and waited, waited with beating heart. For such a long description I wish I had a more in depth review for this! Right out of the bottle I smell the plum blossom, lily and honey. Once on the skin I get a stronger whiff of the honey and amber but the florals are still dominate. I'm not getting any of the sandalwood or spices, to my nose this is mostly honey/lily/plum. Conclusion- The Brides of Dracula are honey dipped lilys covered in plum flowers with amber resin sprinkles.

This season's Ridiculous Scent! As creepy as Spooky was spooky, this is the scent of butterscotch-kissed, caramel-smothered red apples spiked with a blast of coconut rum. First sniff out of the bottle this smells to me like a cross between Miskatonic University and Harvest Moon '06. At first it is all apple with a hint of cider. There is something else in there that smells to me like the 'autumn wind' note that is in Hunter Moon in Samhain. After I slather it on and let it sit a minute I can smell the caramel coming out. Now it smells like a big caramel covered apple. Mmmmm. As it drys down it smells more to me like Miskatonic University (the butterscotch note?) and apples. I don't detect the coconut rum note in this at all. Conclusion- Creepy is creepy and not at all like Spooky. This is the scent of autumn wind, cider, and caramel apples.

The Day of Kings, the Celebration of the Magi. In Mexico, on January 6th, children place their shoes by their windows. If they have been good during the previous year, the Wise Men tuck gifts into their shoes during the night. Hot cocoa with cinnamon, coffee, and brown sugar. Right out of the bottle this pretty much smells like hot cocoa to me. It's a milky chocolate. On my skin I can only detect a faint whiff of coffee. The cinnamon does not come out to play til it starts to fade out and it is very, very mellow. I hoped this would be more of a cinnamon coffee scent but on me it is more of a really chocolatey cafe mocha. Chocolate scent lovers will adore this.

Pumpkin with benzoin, bourbon vanilla, lemon peel, neroli, blood orange, and red ginger. Hooo boy I like this one a lot! Straight up it is pumpkin and red ginger. I *love* red ginger and this is the same as the ginger in Pumpkin Queen which is one of my favorites. Actually, this is very similar to Pumpkin Queen but maybe a little less fruity and bit more spicy/pumkiny. Yum!

A memory of pleasure passed. A ghostly rendezvous, delight beyond death. Faint echoes of laughter and the distorted music of a harp drift by, along with the scent of soft white pear and sweet vanilla. Foodies scent lovers like me- you need this. OMFGWTFBBQ this is sooo GOOD! Straight out of the bottle is is 'HELLO PEAR!!' But not just any old pear, the most ripe and juicy pear. The kind that is so tangy and sweet and juicy and drips down your face when you take a bite. The kind that smells so good your whole kitchen smells like pear. But wait, there's more. After I put this on my skin that tangy sweet pear got cut up and put into a biiiig bowl of vanilla ice cream. After a few minutes the pear fades a bit, just like it would if you were eating that bowl of ice cream and you picked out half the pear bits from the top and ate them first. And as it drys down the pear fades and you are left with yummy vanilla ice cream at the bottom of the bowl because all the pear has been eaten. And the vanilla ice cream scent lingers all day long. Yes foody lovers- fruit and pear lovers. THIS is the one.

Pumpkin Smash! -- Pumpkin pulp, beeswax candles, smoke, asphalt, and beer! At first this is all warm and spicy pumpkin pie. Then it morphs into something much like Roadhouse. After about 20 minutes it fades into pumpkin pulp and beeswax. This is totally unique!

Pumpkin with white chocolate, caramel, pomegranate, and cream. Straight up this is decadent chocolate cake and cream. Though it says it is white chocolate my nose smells dark chocolate. After putting it on my skin the pomegranate comes peeking it's little red head out from around the corner making this a chocolate caramel topped cake with a gushy red fruity center. After a few minutes the pomegranate comes out a little more. I am not getting any pumpkin out of this or any buttery notes, nor is the fruit super strong. Those who like chocolate blends will love this!

Menacing, maniacal, and slick with the one-liners ... this guy does it all with a wink and a smile! Savage apricot, depraved dry woods, and psychopathic patchouli covered by a disarmingly sweet mishmosh of caramel, brown sugar, hazelnut, and butterscotch. Be warned: this oil will instigate possession in most puppets, including some marionettes and the occasional finger puppet. First sniff out of the bottle I get mostly patchouli, hazelnut and something that would be the 'dry wood' but I can't pin point what that is...cedar maybe? After I slather it on my wrists and let it sit a minute something sweet starts to mix in with the wood but it is nothing 'slap yer momma' sweet, it is a very subtle and faint sweet. I want to say it is the brown sugar mingled with a tinge of caramel? After 15 minutes it has faded a lot on me. The patchouli is almost gone and I mostly still smell the slightly sweet hazelnutty cedar. I'm not getting any of the apricot or butterscotch jumping out at me. This is definitely not a foody/desert scent (on me) but more of a sweetened cedar chest sitting next to a bowl of hazlenuts smell. It's a masculine scent IMO, maybe a little too much so for me but Holy Hell this would be teh sexy on a guy! Well done Beth!

The Glorious Grand Dame of the Pumpkin Patch! Regal Egyptian Amber, red ginger, orange peel, mandarin, cardamom, fig leaf and warm pumpkin. What can I say about Pumpkin Queen other than it is my DREAM scent come true? At first whiff it is a lot like an aged bottle of Gingerbread Poppet. There is a lot of ginger in there and it is of the foody/sweet baking gingerbread variety. After I put it on and let it sit a minute the Egyptian amber starts to come out in full force. This is the same amber as in Snake Charmer, and holy heck, it is YUMMY. It gives this blend just a touch of smoky resin. Without the amber this would be straight up a foody pumpkin pie scent, but with that kick of amber it is much smokier and very sultry/sexy. Pumpkin Queen is a grand dame indeed! ETA- I have died and gone to Bpal heaven. I can't stop sniffing myself because PQ is SO. DAMN. YUMMY. AND. SEXY.

When reeds are dead and a straw to thatch the marshes, And feathered pampas-grass rides into the wind Like aged warriors westward, tragic, thinned Of half their tribe, and over the flattened rushes, Stripped of its secret, open, stark and bleak, Blackens afar the half-forgotten creek , -- Then leans on me the weight of the year, and crushes My heart. I know that Beauty must ail and die, And will be born again, -- but ah, to see Beauty stiffened, staring up at the sky! Oh, Autumn! Autumn! -- What is the Spring to me? Dark amber, dead leaves, khus, saffron, bitter clove, chrysanthemum, camellia, galangal, and a drop of oud. At first sniff out of the bottle I get a that 'greenhouse' smell of plants, not flowers, but plants. Which is probably the chrysanthemum talking. Then the Khus comes out to play which to my nose smells just like Vetiver. Once on my skin right away it becomes the smell of dead leaves all the way. *sniff sniff* Yep, dead leaves/dying plants with a very slight hint of smoke. After a few minutes it begines to morph and I start to smell a hint of the amber, clove and saffron. This amber is not as sweet as other amber blends, it is indeed 'dark'. The clove in the is very mild and on the back burner. I want to say it is slightly similar to Baghdad at dry down, but much darker and complex. After 20 minutes it morphs again and becomes sweeter and a little spicier. As it fades is is now all amber on me. I love sweet/spicy scents and this phase is my favorite so far. This one is such a morpher and all the phases are wonderful. It's such an exotic dark and sexy blend, I love it! So yea, dead leaves on a crisp day in autumn and a faint whiff of Halloween spiced amber. Yep, I'd say this IS the smell of the girls perfume from the Type O' Negative song 'Black #1' fer sure.

As the winter encroaches, the time comes to embark on the last Great Hunts of the year. The deer are fattened, the fields have been reaped, and the light of the full moon illuminates the wild creatures that have come out to glean. This scent is redolent of night skies, falling leaves, and the high-pitched tension and release associated with the Hunt. Dry leaves, autumn bonfires, blood red wine, feral, animalistic notes and the chill of approaching winter. Hrm. I am not sure how to describe how this smells other than GOOD but very different from the last Hunter Moon. This is a wine scent for sure but it's not a grape smelling sort of wine like the last one, it's rather a dry bitter wine. HM '04 was very fruity and this one has no fruit to it that I can smell at all. The feral animalistic notes are very musky and dead sexy, especially mixed with the dry wine. The dead leaves scent is there but it is faint and in the background lingering with the bonfire smoke. This is doing what almost all musk does on me and turning to baby powder as it fades (it's a skin chemistry thing) so it is not for me. However those of you who liked the muskier moons like Buck Moon or smoky scents like Prilia will love this one for sure.

This one goes on very orangy at first. Then as the oil dries on my skin it morphs and is mostly the wood fire and chimney smoke with a hint of cider in the background. After 10 minutes or so it is starting to fade on my skin, though now the orange and cider is totally gone and I am getting more of a smoky cinnamon from it. 15 minutes later- my skin must really like this one because it is eating it all up and I can hardly smell it anymore. 20 minutes later- gone. Nada. Zip. I am very sad because for 15 minutes this was a gorgeous fall spicy/smoky scent. But my skin eated it and refuses to give it back.

Miss Clémence is like diving head first into a giant cup of Chai tea, with triple tea bags and seeping it for crazy long while piping hot. While smoking a clove cigarette and wearing patchouli oil. I agree with waternight that this is a great spicy kick in the nose and a SLAMBAM HOT SPICE slap in the face. Miss Clémence, you are the one for this spicy scent fetish girl.

Upa Upa, how I love you so! This one was love at first sniff. Love! In the bottle this is warm and creamy spiced coconut cream PIE. Once on my skin the pineapple comes out and mingles with the coconut and the rum. It stays a gorgeous spicy coconut rum on me for hours and fades slowly into a pina colada-custard. For me this is the only of the Tiki bar scents that had staying power. I can still smell this on my skin after 24 hours. OMG I can't get enough of this. Must order more!

I so wanted to love this. It sounded like a perfect scent for me...cream? Yes! Pink pepper? Oh boy yea. Grapefruit, pear and ginger? *Fans self* But once again my skin chemistry wrecked havoc on a perfectly dreamy blend. On me this smelled like a mango smoothie from Jamba Juice. I didn't get any of the cream, none of the ginger and none of that wonderful pink pepper. Just very sweet and fruity mango smoothie. It may be my brain translates grapefruit and pear as mango....but yea. On my skin wet and even dry after an hour I am only getting mango smoothie. -
Sugar Skull 2007 Omg, right out of the bottle this is amazing. Brown sugar, a hint of spice and some sort of dark boozy candied fruit. (Fig maybe?) On my skin it smells the same as it did in the bottle. Scent stays the same for hours and fades out sweet sugar. Another Halloween winner!

Huh...straight out of the bottle I smell- nothing. No matter how much I huff I am getting nuthin'. On my skin I am getting a very, very faint hint of somthing like fig pudding, a little foody but not at all spicy. Then after 15 or so minutes it fades into olive oil and beeswax. (Just like a burning beeswax candle.) After an hour or so it fades into soapy sugar on me. Not sure what note made this go wonky on me but I am sad it didn't work out. This was the one holiday scent I was the most excited about.

Gingerbread Poppet 2007 This years version of the Poppet is by far the best imo. It smells a lot like GBP '04 did, like gingersnap cookies or fresh out of the oven gingerbread. It is very similar to the 'evil gingersnaps' that some people get from the old Shub. Omg SO GOOD. I'll be stocking up on this one for sure.

Samhain 2007 Wow, this is *a lot* different than Samhain '04 version. The '04 was ALL patchouli on me, but '07 is super pumpkiny with yummy spices and a hint of apple. When I first applied it the patchouli note was strong and I admit I almost washed it off...but 10 seconds later the patchouli melted away and there was only warm pumpkin apples and spice. Nice! I really love this version!

Straight out of the bottle this smells like cinnamon brooms. You know, the cinnamon scented brooms/pine cones they sell at Halloween and Christmas time? On the skin I get Cinnamon! (like woah) and yummy spices all mixed in. There is clove and nutmeg in there fer sure but it is blended in so well it just smells like Cinnamon tea to me like someone else mentioned. As it dries I get more of the sandalwood and tobacco coming out giving it somewhat of a smoky texture. I know some people have Sandalwood turn to total wood on them, but this does not. It is more of a wood and chai tea had a baby smell. I applied this about 4 hours ago and it is still going strong on me. The more it fades the more it smells like Chai tea on my skin. I have to say this has to be one of my all time favorite Bpal GC scents ever. It is super spicy and lasts for a long, long time. The scent is gender neurtal and would work on anyone. I love it!

Wow, this Bonfire Night is totally amazing. This smell just like my husband does after he BBQ's using mesquite wood chips in the the smoker. The smell of sweet mesquite smoke and the tangy smell of the honey bbq sauce with a little bit of beer...hot damn, now I am hungry! The smell sticks to his clothes and his hair for hours and it smells just like this. Yummy!

Woo! At first this smells like the inside of a cave. A dark, dank and very damp cave. Then the woody sweetness of mahogany comes out and takes over. As it fades it becomes more of the smell of an old pub. Like aged wood and soft boozyness like whisky was spilled and dryed up on the floor that was never cleaned up. This is the most interesting morpher of all the Haunted House scents. I like it!

At first this is musty old wine. Like a bottle you forgot to cork and left out for a long time. Then I get that tang of blood like the 'blood musk' note used in some other blends. I do get the wet clay/musty damp earth wafting through along with the blood musk. As it fades is becomes all baby powder on me with a hint of wine.

Wet on my skin this smells like a Christmas tree. After a few minutes the earthy dirt comes out. I want to say this has that plant smell to it like a nursery/plant store. :sniff: yep, smells like a nursery. Musty dirt, green plants and..more green plants. As it fades the dirt goes away and I can detect a hint of a faint soft floral.
