Aquatic, slightly sweet, unisex blends that fade within a couple of hours. Pass.
-
This blend is okay. Light florals, well mixed so that not one thing stands out above the other notes. It's too floral for my liking, however, so I'll be passing on this imp.
-
I love this scent. It's a sweet, rich, warm honey scent. Mainly it's honey but it does have a sweet element to it. I wish I had multiple bottles of this scent.
-
Starts off way too masculine and then fades after about an hour. I'm not a fan of masculine scents on myself so I'll pass on this one.
-
This is spicy and a little bitter/sour. This imp will need to find a new, more loving home.

The description is really accurate for this blend, well, at least for the first hour or so. It really does start off heavy and thick. The vetiver is intense and covers the other notes except for a hit of honeysuckle. After the first hour this turns into a mostly sweet, but deep blend. I kind of like it.

Desolation. The remnants of an empire, shivering with forgotten glories, a monument to megalomania, sundered power, and colossal loss. Dry desert air, dry and hot, passing over crumbling stone megaliths and plundered golden monuments, bearing a hint of the incense of lost Gods on its winds. Very light and dry. It's got an airy dust scent to it which is a bit masculine on my skin. Interesting, but not something I'd wear.

Soapy roses. Not for me.
-
A gloriously elegant representation of Lady Death. Dry, bone-white orris, black musk, serpentine patchouli and our murkiest myrrh. Patchouli really does ruin everything. Bleh.
-
I'll keep it brief. Light, soapy, floral. No, thanks.
-
The spices start off strong and smell like something you'd cook with. After about an hour it turns into straight almond. A powdery, really sweet almond.
-
This is too floral for my taste. The jasmine and primrose are overwhelming. Pass on this.
-
Lots of Dragon's Blood. At first there's a hint of spice, but that quickly gives way to the Dragon's Blood which dominates the blend. I like the smell of Dragon's Blood in small doses, but it's not something I'd want to smell like all day. I'll pass this imp along.

I really like white musk so I was looking forward to trying this blend. Unfortunately the patchouli ruins this blend. I get a whiff of the scent one time and think, 'This is really beautiful' and then the next minute 'Phew, nasty BO.' Damn you, patchouli.

Wonderful! The sweet pea is dominant at first with the peach and pear notes in the background It's a very light, bright and cheerful scent. My only gripe is that the wear length is so short. I'll keep the imp and use it, but I don't think I can justify a bottle for a blend that only lasts a few hours on my skin.

This blend makes me feel a little queasy when I smell it. Very overwhelming with the jasmine and lily. So far it's had a pretty decent throw and good wear length, but I'm going to wash this off ASAP. Death by flowers. Yuck.

When first applied I really like this blend. It's a light, bright, fruity scent with a touch of mint. Unfortunately it lasts for less that two hours on my skin. I'll keep the imp but won't purchase a bottle.

... Their scent is the crisp, inviting bittersweet tang of cranberry with smoky dark lilies, heady, sensual musk, a tingle of ginger and a brush of Mediterranean spices. Smokey, spicy, tart cranberry. The smoke is definitely the most prominent portion of this blend, almost drowning out the other elements. It's only when I put my nose next to my wrist that I get the other notes. Interesting blend, but not one I'll keep. Decent throw and wear length.

This is a rich warm scent which is kind of nice. Well, until the dirt kicks in and ruins everything. I'll be passing on this one.
-
When first applied the frankincense and violet are pretty strong, I don't get much in the way of cinnamon. After a few hours the violet burns off and I'm left with a single note frankincense blend. It smells nice, but not something I'd wear.
-
Starts off as an aquatic floral blend, pretty and sweet. After about an hour the lily comes out and then it's gone. *poof* Pretty, but doesn't last for more than two hours.
-
A very light, soapy, generic scent. Boring. Off to swaps.
-
Once I first apply this oil I get a whiff of pepper. Strange. The pepper note lasts for awhile but then a bit of lavender and a small hint of lime start to come out. These notes combine to smell like carper cleaner. Yep, the reviews above mine really nailed it. Carper cleaner all the way.

BPAL does 'green' notes really well and this blend is no exception. The floral elements don't quite develop on my skin allowing the green grasses to take center stage. Pretty realistic smelling to my nose. This is a light blend with minimal throw. Could be a nice blend to wear this spring. I think I'll keep the imp around.

The almond is the dominant note here followed by amber and musk. The way these notes combine is really lovely and creates a complex, rich scent. One of my favorite GC blends.
