This is a very nice soft scent. The main notes I get out of this are the vanilla and honey. The tobacco really doesn't come out, nor the pine. After drying, the scent stays close to the skin.. doesn't seem to have a lot of throw.

This is a very sweet scent. Reminds me of pixy stix. All I'm getting out of this are the florals (iris, rose and magnolia). Can't really smell the musk or clove or vanilla. Too floral for me, sadly.

Oh yum. This smells delicious. In imp: ozony goodness Wet on skin: soft incense with ozone Dry on skin: the same I don't particularly smell the wormwood or opium tar. Which is not something I'm arguing about, because this scent is absolutely lovely. Definitely worth a full bottle.

In imp: very incensy Wet on skin: Incense with a sharp tang which almost makes me sneeze Dry on skin: Almost.. meaty. Meaty with a whiff of sharp/salty. Not my thing.

This is a nice scent. I was pleasantly surprised by this. It's a nice spicy musk, although I do feel it's a bit masculine for me. Will pass on to the husbeast to see if he would like it.

In bottle: floral incense. On skin: rosy incense. Dries down to a rosy powder. In this, the rose is so strong I don't think I'll be ordering a full bottle of this.

Wow this scent is strong. In the imp I smell leather. On the skin the leather is amped, and the herbs underneath give it a very sharp quality. Almost makes me want to sneeze, it's so strong. Not my kind of scent, even though I normally like leather.

In imp: vanilla lilac Wet on skin: a whole bunch of things, but nothing really coming out. Dry on skin: vanilla lilac Verdict: too much lilac, not enough musk. Oh well.

*sniffs herself, looks at notes, sniffs again* Why am i getting apple from this? *sniffs again* Now it's morphed into a fresh tea scent. With.. I guess fig. Wierd. Don't think it's for me.

So far, this is my OMG scent out of all the CD I've tried so far. I LOVE what this does on the skin. Firstly, there is a warm, slightly smoky cinnamon. It makes me feel warm all over. As it dries, the smoke really amps up, and then the last stage, the cinnamon warmth comes back. This is SUCH a sexy scent. I loves it so!

Looking at the notes, I was hoping this was going to be a lovely floral aquatic. Sadly, that is not to be. From the imp all I got were the florals. Wet - florals. Dry - florals. Sharp, strong SWEET florals. Sigh.

Mmmm, this is nice. Wet, I smell the sandalwood and amber. Drydown, the vanilla comes out and yum, does it smell good. The vanilla lingers a little longer, next to the skin. It's yummy.

Wet, this blend was LOVE. The amber and teak were just perfect. Drydown, the cedar and carnation came up, and.. it just was off to me. I think it was going from 'sweet' to 'spicy' just didn't work right for me. Dry: Just cedar now. Makes me think of mothballs.

This is.. interesting. In a good way, mind you, but interesting. Chocolate peach. There's a light floral in the background when it dries down, but.. this is good. And now I'm wanting peaches dipped in chocolate.

Helloooo Rose! Definitely a rose floral mix. Rose is the dominant note in the bottle and wet on skin. On drydown, the ylang ylang comes out, and turns this into a very heady floral. Scent is so strong it's giving me a headache.
-
All I smell in the bottle and wet is the clove. It's making me hungry for a spiral-sliced ham. Drydown: the patchouli is coming out. And less than 5 minutes after I put it on - it's gone. Wait, no, there's the clove, close to the skin. Meh. Not my thing.

So far, this is my favorite of the Grindhouse Ladies. It's a lovely fruity scent grounded by the green notes. Definitely a bottle purchase.
-
This one is a nice floral blend, with an undertone of the currant and musk, but I'm just not feeling this one.
-
In bottle: sharp-smelling wet dog. On skin: wet dog is still there. Doesn't seem to want to dry off or go away, just sitting there on my wrist dripping, panting, and generally being a wet dog. Dry: It's dried down to a rotting fruit smell. Oh the joys.

Ugh. There is something in this blend other than the lilies which does not like me. This blend smells like.. burnt plastic. After a while though, it seems to have calmed down, but there's still a wierd plasticky smell to it. Oh well. Off to the swap pile.

I'm.. shocked. This is the first time I've tried a scent with lily in it and not had it amp up on me to be all LILYLILYLILY. This is a lovely scent. The lily and rose stay in the background and the green scents are what come to the fore. I like this.

I get a lot of Glowing Vulva, just much much sweeter thanks to the caramel in this. On the skin, now it's teaky creamy caramel. Can't really smell the amber or musk, although I think they keep the cream and caramel from taking over completely and going HIIIIIIIII!! WE'RE SWEET!! It's nice, but I don't know if I want a full bottle.

Somehow I missed the lily note in here. I have tried pretty much all the BPAL lily scents, and I haven't liked one. However, I keep trying these out, apparently I haven't learned my lesson. *puts wrist under electron microscope* It is a dark, desolate lunar landscape. Focusing in closer, things you might have taken for craters are in fact bodies. What could have happened? Suddenly, from opposite sides of the scene come Lily and Rose, racing at each other. *cue Mortal Kombat music* Rose uses Thorn Throw! (Lily loses 300 points) Lily gets up and launches Sound of Fury! Rose partially counters by using Petal Flurry. (Rose loses 200 points) Lily continues with Special Attack Fronds of Steel! (Rose loses 600 points) Rose attacks with Petal Knives, but Lily defends with Petal Fan, and attacks with Special Attack Stamen Torpedo Launcher! (Rose loses 200 points) Rose does not get up again. LILY IS THE WINNER! *removes wrist from electron microscope* And there you have what happens to Dyan Moon on me.

In imp: Whoa sharp fennel/anise. Ugh. Not a promising start. Wet on skin: Whoa sharp fennel/anise. The hemp is starting to come in, too, which does not make this blend any better. Dry on skin: Whoa sharp fennel/anise/hemp. I'm waiting for the pomegranate to come in, but no. Never makes an appearance. Le sigh. I'm apparently not meant to like any of the Wunderkammer.

In bottle: ORANGE. Wet on skin: LILAC. Dry on skin: GONE. 0 for 4.
