I got this today...which is the first warm day in NY for what seems like forever. The sun is shining, the scent of flowers perfumes the air, birds are twirbling, and its a gorgeous out. Then I get my bottle of Beltane, and open it....and somehow, the lab managed to put today in a bottle. in the bottle- Spring! No, really...green, light and sunny. wet- herbally, but very light. I don't get any flowers, but I do get the feeling like I'm planting flowers...sunwarmed earth, damp flower bulbs, warm weather. Dry- i get the same green note from water of notre dame as I do from this. I'm glad I don't get any flowers from it All in all, a wonderful spring-y scent. So far, this scent is my favorite LE. An amazing, wonderful creation.

What I get from Hod is O on steroids. Very strong amber, honey and a touch of spices/verrrrrrry faint flowers. This smells rather like what I expect the nectar of the ancient greek gods to smell like- if you drink it, you will be transformed into something other. Very yummy, although it does make me sneeze for the first few seconds as the amber asserts itself before settling into my skin.

Oh my! On me its 'I can't believe its not ice queen" too! with maybe a touch more ice than in ice queen. Good thing I love Ice Queen.....

All I get from this is evil, hellbent flowers. :achoo!:

This is such a lovely scent. Its wonderfully green and herbally, but light and a bit tart, changing every moment. Nicely complex. I definitely want more of this.

Skadi smells like Ice Queen and a giant selection of berries with a base of wet snow. Unfortunately, it sent me into a sneezing fit. Off to some deserving, non-allergic bpaler it goes.

I got a little of this on my hand when sniffing the imp, and I cannot keep my hand away from my nose. This smells of an invigorating, clean tea with a hint of sugar- the kind of tea you would drink in the morning when a cup of coffee seems abhorrent. I wish I had tea that tasted the way this smelled....

and instead of dripping wine onto your plate, you'd put a drop of each plague on your arm... I think a scent with suffering but redemption would be good. Can't think of one, but it'd be good -sigh- no pizza for a week.

Hmm....try something herbal but with a bite. I'm having first night at my place, and I'll probably end up in either Sol or Wolfsbane. Don't forget that part of the night is about 'eating reclined, as if we were people of lesiure'--sounds like a soft and comfy scent time for me

This smells like sandalwood, sweet cream, a touch of almond and a drop of honey. Perfect meditation or relaxation blend, for me. mm.

Got my imp of honey today....a bit of it leaked but i have 75% left (yay!). This smells like the first honey pull of spring. Its a bit too light and not tangy enough for me, so it's gonna be swapped out. It smells almost like beeswax and pollen mixed together. (If I want to smell like that I'll go stand in my basement next to my dads beekeeping crap.) Very yummy. My mom keeps asking me if I spilled honey on my shirt or something.

in the bottle- water? a very light floral tea? wet- linden flowers. spicy yet sweet. dry- i smell like a meadow a buncha horses were just rolling in. bleargh.

In the bottle- maraschino cherries wet- dark cherries, hanging on the bush, right btw the point of being juicy and overripe and being rotten. dry- -peers at skin- helloo? Hello?! it ran away!.....3 minutes of dark, sweet cherries and smoke, and then *poof* all i have left is a faint hint of jasmine. -sigh- into the swap pile with you, impling.

This was a scent i wanted to like....and it ended with me running for soap and hot water. in the bottle- amber and moss. on my skin- This turns so overpowerfully masculine that I can't distinguish different notes. This takes masculine past the repulsion point, on my skin. My eyes started actually tearing. Saint Germain does not like me.

Soap. all i get is ivory soap, in the bottle, wet and dry. Since i have noone to test this out on, into the swappie containter for you, impling.

In the bottle- ....no scent. where is the scent? -inhales deeply- ah, a bit of lemon and sugar... wet- excuse me, i must go die in pleasure now. So yummy smelling. I get a background of vanilla black tea, with lots of honey. dry- the tea, vanilla and honey have been joined by a very light musk and this scent has staying power! So good....must buy more imps of this....

in the bottle- vanilla, ginger....something else i can barely catch. wet- spices. with a light touch of vanilla. i smell like a cookie. dry- ebbeh. yum. Vanilla. only a light hint of spice now. Someone up there mentioned it smells like a coy smirk- i agree. -sits sniffing wrist while dissolving into purring puddle of happiness-

Add this to the list of perfumes i did not expect to like but ended up loving. wow. in the bottle- Coconut and -sniffs- flowers? wet- coconut and hazelnut and a little bit of musk dry- this turns into pure decadence rolling off my skin in waves that get stronger. I feel like I am wearing something worthy of a sea queen. Yum.

in the bottle- wormwood and...belladonna? i can almost feel my pupils enlarging.... wet- licorice and mint dry- strong wormwood, licorice and a faint herbal astringent. This smells like a bruise poultice that has been soaked in wine (weird freakin reference, i know). This cured my headache but also made me a bit drifty all day. into the swap container for you.

I got this in a swap and i am SO HAPPY! This smells divine....on me, my skin manages to balance out all the notes so i smell like a warm summer night in a victorian garden.......this scent even manages to stand up to peppermint oil (long story). Truly a wonderful light but staying scent.

in the bottle-- meditation incense? i smell sage, vanilla, thyme, patchouli.... wet- goes on dark and heavy but my skin immediately drink up the patchouli and makes it go away (thank god) dry- the second this was dry on my skin, i stood up without noticing it, stretched my entire body and all my chakra points lined up and snapped open. With this on, i automatically relax and breathe in counts of 7. This scent is like my personal savior. I want to carry it around whenever i have to deal with some of the more annoying people at school.....

-weeps- why oh why did i not buy a bottle of this? (voice from back of head- because you didnt know about bpal then) Ice Queen, for some reason, makes me think of a woman walking untouched through a snowstorm...like she can stop it from snowing on her from sheer force of will and personality. That being said, let me say what a gorgeous scent! This is what i could see a female bouncer or someone else who has to be that tough wearing. This is a total ckass, in control, balls-made-of-solid-platinum scent. Yummy.

in the bottle: all i smell, for some reason, is the mother of all evil peach teas. on me: deep, warm and musky- this would be a great guys scent.

This scent was wayyyyy to masculine on me...everyone entering the room went 'ew, oh my god, what are you wearing? scrub it off!'........that doesnt do much for a girl's opinion of the perfume

in the bottle- (gags) mint and eucalyptus wet- mint! it burns! AAAAAAH! -scrubs arm clean- uhm...yeah.....into the swap pile for you, evil imp!
