I received this lagniappe from the Lab with my last order. This is a lovely, feminine blend. My skin loves carnation, so that is the most dominant note, but the milk and the bergamot are bringing up the rear beautifully. It's soft and floral and creamy and spicy all at once. I can definitely see why it's hard to get a hold of this scent.

I loved this in the bottle. I smelled a beautiful rose and spicy soft incense. But on me, it immediately turned to a bitter soapy smell. No rose, no incense.

This smells like the buttery buttery butterscotch everyone else is describing in the bottle, but I'm kind of unsure of what happens when I put it on my skin. The smell kind of.... flattens. I know it's a floral smell, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is. It's creamy, but on me, it's not really a pleasant cream. There was one point in the drydown where I swear I smelled rancid milk. I'm going to hang onto this one and try again because I loved it so much in the bottle, I just can't bear to give up on it yet.

As a rabid lover of dragon's blood, I knew that I would love this. In the vial, it is salty sweetness. On my skin, the dragon's blood was the strongest note, but the aquatic notes reinforced the saltiness. I really had to restrain myself from licking my wrists where I had applied the oil. It is absolutely gorgeous.

In the bottle, this smells like Johnson's Baby Oil. A very soft and soothing smell, a little herbal, a little creamy. On my skin, wet, it smells pretty much the same. As it dries down, a little bit of the sweet pea shyly pokes its head out, as does the sage. It's very pretty and very soft. Two thumbs up!

I have resigned myself to the fact that vetiver will ALWAYS turn into perm solution on me. It smelled lovely and floral in the imps, but again with the poor 6th grade me stuck under a dryer with rollers in my hair crying from the chemical smell.

This is very floral and berry on me. I snatched it up because I adore dragon's blood as my "signature scent," and I'm pleased that it blends in so beautifully with the juniper. The rose doesn't stand out as much as I thought / hoped it would, and I get no smoke at all. But it is very beautiful and fresh... a green scent on me more than a red one.

I don't really get any florals out of this, but I'm still confused about what exactly it is that I'm smelling. It's very warm, but very soft and woodsy. I think that what it most reminds me of is an old edition Scrabble board game that my mother had from her childhood. She kept it stored in her cedar hope chest, and occasionally she and my sister and I would take it out of the chest and play a game on the floor in the sunshine. The smell of the cedar chest had infused itself into the little wooden block letters, and it was just a warm happy time.

I was worried when I smelled this in the bottle because something made my nose curl... a very sharp smell. Reading the other reviews, I think it might have been the tangerine. But on... this is all carnation. It's very soft and light and gentle. This is really lovely for those days I want to be a girl.

I was lucky enough to get an imp of this in an auction, and I can't be happier that I did. In the vial, it smelled like soft cherries and resins. On my skin, well, dragon's blood + me = LOVE. The dragon's blood, amber resins, and marigolds are so soft and lush. I am in heaven. Now if I can get my hands on a bottle of this...

This is beautiful and light and perfect for spring. The vanilla and sandalwood are prominant on my skin, as is the slighest tang of citrus and neroli. If this scent was a color, it would be a pale creamy yellow-green. Love it!

This was a gorgeous springtime scent. It was just a perfect combination of berries and grasses. If I closed my eyes, I was sitting on slightly damp lawn near a berry patch in the pale light of dawn. I am going to get a lot of use out of this scent this spring.

This is a very pinky-peach scent on me. It's like the perfect fusion of cherry blossoms, apples and honey. It's light and creamy and very refreshing. I'm so glad I bought a bottle of this unsniffed... the risk was definitely worth the rewards!

This. Is. Gorgeous. I received this as a free imp in an order from the Lab and I was wary of it in the bottle, but on my skin it is a warm, dry scent with a hint of fruitiness and lush woods. And for some reason, it is really making my mouth water. It's not a drawback though! I think I'm going to have to get a bottle of this.

I bought a bottle of this because I loved the way that the anise in Kabuki was so strong on my skin. In the bottle, this smells very strongly of cherries. I liked the other description where someone said "bitch slap me cherries." On my skin, the anise is definitely the most prevalent scent. But it's softened by the sandalwood. It's very warm and soothing, like sitting in the sunshine wrapped in a favorite soft blanket with the window open to a cherry blossom tree. Mmmm....

I *really* wanted to love this one, and I did, in the bottle. But on me it turns into tanning lotion. Ick. I get no mint at all, just overpowering coconut and rum. Sadness.

I wasn't too sure of this since it was such a strong floral in the bottle, but on my skin it is absolutely beautiful. The jasmine and the honeysuckle are the dominant notes. When I close my eyes, I am outside on a warm spring evening. I don't know how Beth captures the smell of twilight, but she did it. Amazing.

This smells gorgeous and happy in the vial. I love the blend, especially the grapefruit. When I first put it on my skin, it smelled lovely, but unfortunately, I've had it on for about two hours now and it's pretty much disappeared. Oh well.

In the vial, this is Extra Sugarfree Chewing Gum, in the Classic Bubblegum flavor. On my skin, it initially holds the bubblegum scent, with a little bit of something darker and more... orange??? After about an hour, this has mellowed into a creamy, orange spice. I love it!

This is a lovely, soft scent. It's like a luxurious rose-scented powder. Very light, but it's definitely there. ETA: As this one dried down and is wearing throughout the day, I began to notice a light cedar scent to it. It reminds me very much of this old hope chest that my parents have, when I would go through it as a child and play with all of my mother's old dolls and read old love letters from my father to her. It's a very soothing, grounding smell. I am definitely going to buy a bottle of this soon.

This is gorgeous and complex. The scent keeps morphing on my skin, but I love every nuance of it. Right now, the dominant note is the lemon and the rose which isn't a combination I would have thought I would enjoy, but it's really lovely. I'm glad I've ordered a bottle of this... I can tell it's going to be one of my favorites.

I really wanted to like this one because of all of the beautiful ingredients, but I was hesitant because of the leather. I had a feeling it wouldn't work well on me. Unfortunately, I was right. This started out smelling kind of pretty, but it's degenerated into perm solution on my skin. I feel like I'm back in elementary school and I just had my hair permed. It's sharp and keeps stinging my nose. Definitely to be swapped.

Self-love, indeed. This was an odd one. I didn't really care for it in the vial at all, but when I opened the imp's ear, the wand flicked some of the oil onto my hand. As it dried, I was hooked. This is a really awesome blend... fruity, but kind of naughty too. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it smelled like to me, but I really liked the way it worked with my skin's chemistry. I kept smelling my wrists all day, I couldn't get enough. There was no mirror-licking, but it definitely was intoxicating.

I didn't really care for this in the vial... it smelled too powdery and floral to me. But once I put it on (used BBW Sweet Pea body wash and lotion too), it mellowed to a nice creamy floral. I'm really enjoying the carnation as the strongest note on me. It's kind of like a lovely corsage under my nose all day. Very smooth and enjoyable.

I think I may have found my "signature scent." This is really beautiful. For some reason, it smells more like fir and berries on me than pears, grapes, etc. but I love it. It makes me think of Christmas, so this is definitely going to be a winter-time favorite.
