I smell coconut "juice" and fresh shredded coconut, and I think a few tropical notes. It's a nice scent, but for some reason I'm not too hot on it =(

Fresh carnations!! I think this is white carnation (at least, it smells a bit like Ava-Luxe's white carnation). Powdery and spicy and fresh and gorgeous! Edit: It's dried down a bit, and it's getting sort of sharp...stupid body chemistry

Delirium and Eve smell exactly the same to my nose.

This is deliciously sexy and practically edible Smokey tobacco and a warm thick sweetness--I definately smell something vanilla-y. This truely is the sexiest BPAL I've ever smelled. It's confident and kinky and sensual as hell!

This is EXQUISITE!! Easily my second-fave SN (after the glorious Vanilla Bean)! This is more sweet and foody than spicy, surprisingly Spicy enough to be sexy, not enough to smell like popourri. This is...spiced honey, sweet cakes studded with cloves, cloves soft against the skin. I adore this

HOLYCOWSUGARMOSAS!! Pralines! I can DEFINATELY smell the booze in here, and the nuttiness, and the sugar. Surprisingly, though, this isn't nearly the sweetest BPAL I've ever smelled--the booze and nuts calm it down a lot. I can smell the yummy caramel but the chocolate is faint and I can't detect vanilla. This is actually MUCH more wearable than I thought it would be by its description. In fact, it's less foody than Bliss. But even then, it smells too foody for me.

At first sniff this is almond, almond, almond, then the rum and especially the clove pop out. A while later, I can smell a bit of the bay (don't really know what sassafrass smells like, unfortunately). This is the scent of dark, deep drug dens. Of corrupt and heavy passions and glutted appetites. Evocative, but not my style.

Heavy, sour roses, bittered by the amber and musk With a cleaning fluid undertone...ug

Mmmm very fruity-sweet and slightly tart! I can definately smell the amaretto, but not booze, really. A sweet, delicious oil, but not really something I'd wear as a perfume.

Immediately upon application I get a rainy, florally scent, but then the cypress and oak pop out--lillies winding up fragrant green woods after a heavy rainfall. For some reason the green note in this reminds me of the green note in Mabon I can almost see this as Mabon's more summery twin--Mabon, just as a different season. It's a beautiful scent, but I think I'm getting a touch of a soap undertone...just a touch, mind you, and almost ALL BPAL florals turn soapy on me.

OMFGDARKCOCOABOOZEBERRIES is what my mind immediately screamed when I applied a dab and sniffed. It's an incredibly unique and evocative scent...for some reason it makes me think of dark earth rituals--this is the scent of the sacrifice on the alter of some dark primordial god. Not something I can stand smelling for long, though

This is an exquisite golden apple scent! It's a young woman sitting in the shade of a tree on a bright, breezy day, eating a sliced Golden apple dusted with brown sugar as the leaves of the tree brush by her cheek. It's that lovely

The sweet sweet strawberry and heliotrope combine in this blend to give it a very cherry candy scent. The amber/heliotrope combo is gorgeous, and I recognize it from Tamora. In fact, this reminds me a LOT of Tamora--Tamora with an added candy sweetness from the strawberry. Unfortunately, it becomes *too* sweet and candy-ish for me, even during drydown when the amber and musk become more promiant. However, this is a scent insanely evocative of the sunniness of Hollywood, and thus I have to admit that despite my personal preferences this is a great blend

Very cinnamon and clove to my nose. I don't get the bite of pepper at all. I'm not in love with this like so many people are. I've hung around in craft stores around christmastime, and this is what Three Witches smells like. It's a nice combination, but I wouldn't want to smell like it. Maybe the reformulation will be more to my liking

Got a sniffie of this from Penance--thank you!! This is an incredible oil...along with Damnation it's the darkest scent I've ever smelled. But while Damnation was the darkest incence imaginable, Death is the darkest earth from the darkest part of the darkest forest. If there are leaves here, they're long decomposed, or dry and crackling, and the earth is full of unknown life or untold death. To smell this in the air is to touch the primordial darkness itself, and to wish to give yourself to it. It truly is Death as both Beginning and Ending, and I love it

Hehe this makes me wonder what the labels on the mi-go brains will look like!! I will be jealous of anyone who randomly gets a 10 ml of that... Josey needs extra big brains these days, that she does LSATs in a month...

I was JUST about to ask that!

I could have SWORN I'd reviewed this before, but I looked through the reviews and found nothing, so... This was a bottle in my very first order, and I had bought it unsniffed. When I opened the bottle to sniff...CEDER! I applied a bit, sniffed...CEDER! so I sold it... That was back in february. But since then I've read reviews, and thought, "Damn...why didn't I smell that at all? It sounds like something I'd LOVE!" So I sold my soul to kmasden for a Black Broom Bottle =) I open the bottle... soap STRANGE! I apply a bit, let it sink in, sniff... OMG it's Silk Road and Antique Lace's LOVE CHILD! It's a creamy, lightly spicy blend...the musk is the warm, comforting variety that makes Antique Lace so universally loved I don't think there's actual vanilla in here, but somehow the blend makes it seems like there may be a touch...I think I smell the carnation, but it's very soft and sweet and not as obvious as it is in Maiden or Alice. This is incredible absolutely divine...gosh DAMN.... Edit: I have this rpg character who's a traveling storyteller/dancer/sexy momma. This is the the scent your nose catches as she passes by; the aroma of market spices lingering on her sari blends with the oils in her hair to create an aromatic memory that will linger long after she has dissapeared from sight.

No imp--just a very smelly bubble envelope! I smell...LEMONS!! Like tangy lemon ices!! A teensy bit of rose hidden under there, but...no musk or amber. But I LOVE lemon *goes back to snorting her envelope *

does Graveyard Dirt smell anything like Middle Earth Turns to Rock soap?

In the vial: VERY sharp and fruity and bitter...this scent has TEETH! On skin: This is dragon's blood in monstrous form--pulsating, mad, black and red and green-tinged. It is a burning fire without warmth, and though this is very floral it somehow doesn't strike me immediately as so. I can imagine this as a "dress-up" scent, but not something to be worn normally. This is not a sensual scent, or even "dangerous"--more like downright scary!

Dear lord I want to try Sweet Clove SN so bad...missed an auction for a bottle a few days ago ... I can't WAIT for the Three Witches reformulation!!

I've read the reviews and asked a couple of people, but one can never get too many opinions : To all you cinnamon lovers out there, how does the Cinnamon SN smell? =) Does it smell like the cinnamon note in Tarot: The World (which I love)?
