    Santa Eularia Des Riu

In The Bottle Lemon and lavender On Application Wow very lemony - more the zest than lemon juice Dry Down The jasmine and lavender help to round out the lemon and give it a little more sweetness. Dires down to the smell of Bryll Cream and greasy hair. Rating (0-5) 1.5

    Magdalene

In The Bottle Rose with a musky base On Application Rose and orchid but there is something spicy to keep it from going sharp Dry Down This is not my favourite BPAL rose scent (rose and orchid are both pretty horrible on me) but this is quite soft and bearable. Not a winner for me but it is nice. Rating (0-5) 3

    Port-Au-Prince

In The Bottle Marzipan On Application Marzipan and clove Dry Down The almond eventually blends with the spicy clove and bay. I don't really get much of the rum, which is probably not a bad thing. Quite an assertive scent but fades surprisingly quickly. I will pass this one on. Rating (0-5) 1.5

    Alecto

In The Bottle Raspeberry boiled candy. I can pick the cedar and berry. Nice On Application The cedar and vetiver immediately amp up - dirty and woody with a trace of the berry beneath Dry Down Pencils and berry scented erasers! Not unpleasant but also not something I want to wear. Rating (0-5) 2

    Cairo

In The Bottle Lemony incense On Application Lemon verbena with a soft incense background. Not terrible but not spinning my wheels Dry Down Very soft, very lemon verbena, very much going somewhere else Rating (0-5) 1.5

    Chant D'Automne

In The Bottle Smokey woods On Application As above Dry Down This is the quintessential autumn scent. Smells like dried leaves and pine needles and the waft of open fires just starting up for the cooler weather. This is a very, very beautiful scent. Rating (0-5) 5

    Bon Vivant

In The Bottle Winey fruit On Application I don't really get clear strawberry but there is fruit Dry Down Definitely a white wine, slightly fruity and not too sweet. I quite like the stale wine smell, like a bar after hours. Not bottle worthy but I may use up the imp. Rating (0-5) 3.5

    Prague

In The Bottle Cool, sweet floral On Application Pretty, honeyed florals Dry Down I agree with previous reviews that there is a fruity element. I really like this one but may be a bit too soft and fleeting. Rating (0-5) 3.5

    Grandmother of Ghosts

Mania, Roman Goddess of the Dead, Matron of Madness, Governess of the Ancestral Spirits, Bestower of Divine Frenzy. Her scent swirls with a high-pitched tumult of laurel, stargazer lily, splintered woods, peony, mandarin and white musk, and is spiked with pale pepper. In The Bottle Faint musk and lily On Application High-pitched, indeed. White florals and woods Dry Down The flowers fade leaving the woods. Quite soft and dry. This ends up smelly like quite a grandmotherly floral. Not for me Rating (0-5) 2.5

In The Bottle Lemon verbena On Application Lemon verbena and fir/pine Dry Down Bright and cool lemon verbena and pine. Warms up as it dries down. Lemon and lemon verbena usually don't spin my wheels as a scents but this is nice and well rounded. Glad I got to try this. Rating (0-5) 4

    Samhain

In The Bottle Sweet, spiced apple On Application Fir, cool night air and apple Dry Down Woody and piney with the sweetness of the apple. The patchouli emerges quite strongly after about 5 minutes. This changes constantly but overall spicey, smokey woods is where it ends up. I like! Rating (0-5) 4

    A Blade of Grass

In The Bottle Sweet, green, vibrant grass. On Application Briefly the green grass and then it is quickly joined by the leaves to make it definitely autumnal. Dry Down This is so evocative of the concept it's awesome. I love this and it would be great layered with Graveyard Dirt. Rating (0-5) 4.5

    The Witching Time of Night

In The Bottle Cool flowers and ivy On Application Green coolness Dry Down Soft floral and lots of sappy greenery. I have an angel's trumpet growing by my door and I adore the smell of it at night. This is the first scent that I have tried where I can actually smell the angel's trumpet. Gorgeous! I am so glad I got 2 bottles of this. Stunning night scent which is definitely late summer/early autumn. Rating (0-5) 5

    Ichabod Crane

In The Bottle Beeswax. I have loved all of the scents with beeswax so far. On Application Herbally pungent Dry Down Surprisingly green on initial application. Takes a while for any floral notes to come out at about the same time as the wool. Kind of odd but stunnigly beautiful at the same time. Definitely best after 20 minutes or so. Like it. Graveyard Dirt

In The Bottle Mossy dirt On Application Slightly fungal dirt. Dry Down My beloved dirt note, light and cool. Not alot more to say love it and will be useful for layering Rating (0-5) 4.5

    Huesos De Santo

In The Bottle Buttery orange On Application The zesty orange amps up to cut through the dreaded buttery note. Dry Down I am soooo glad I got a couple of bottles of this. Becomes cakey pretty soon into the drydown and the orange is more orange peel than the flesh or juice, very zesty and slightly bitter. The anise atrts to emerge a bit later. Surprisingly complex. Zombi

In The Bottle Dirt and moss with the faintest trace of rose On Application Rose and dry dusty earth. Dry Down I love the earth/dirt note but was put off trying this because of the rose. The lab wisely sent a frimp. The rose is not overpowering and the dirt and moss is awesome. The rose has a kind of decayed quality as it dires down further. I am going to have to do a full wear test before I commit to a bottle. Rating (0-5) 4

    Brom Bones

In The Bottle It's leather amd musk alright. Yum! The leather is more saddle leather than fine jacket leather. On Application The leather is actually quite sweet, courtesy of the musk, I guess. Dry Down Oh my I love this. I am going to stock up on this. Reminds me of the deep, old leather in Western Diamondback without the vanilla. Brilliant. Rating (0-5) 5

    Hellhound on My Trail

In The Bottle Bay rum and a herbal quality On Application Spicey bay rum. No vanilla Dry Down Wow. Spicey and smokey. I actually get quite a bit of tobacco about 10 minutes into the drydown. I wasn't sure about this at first but the final result is awesome. Rating (0-5) 4.5

    Sticky Pillowcase

In The Bottle Brown sugar and strawberry On Application As above Dry Down Originally this is a slightly caramelised sugar with a bit of strawberry in the background but as it dries the sugar lightens up to leave a sweet light berry scent. I like it. Rating (0-5) 4

    Eris

In The Bottle Slightly aquatic with over-ripe fruit and spices On Application Dirty socks and rotten fruit but sweet. Dry Down The "off" scent dissapears to leave a fresh, sweetish and fruity aquatic. A little bit of saltiness in the background. Reminds me of a sweeter Manila. I like it but not something I will wear. Rating (0-5) 3.5

    Dian's Bud

In The Bottle Fresh and slightly fruity/melonish On Application As above Dry Down Becomes more floral as it dries down. Soft wildflowers and citrus. Really nice but not for me. Rating (0-5) 3.5

    Serpent's Kiss

In The Bottle Dragons Blood with some vetiver On Application Strong vetiver and dragons blood. Dry Down Basically just Dragons Blood for me. A miss. Rating (0-5) 1

    Thanatos

In The Bottle Thin, dusty sandalwood On Application Myrrh and sandalwood. Dry and woody. Dry Down Sweetens up a bit after 10 minutes or so but it remains thin and dusty. A little too herbal for general wear. Rating (0-5) 1.5
