In The Bottle Very herbal On Application As above Dry Down Resinous herby scent that warms up and rounds out a little as it dries down. I quite like it but don't think it is particularly wearable just as a scent. Could be nice doing some herbal work. Rating (0-5) 2.5

In The Bottle Sweet peppermint with a touch of vanilla On Application Gorgeous mint Dry Down The Snake Oil starts to emerge about 5 minutes into the drydown to round out the mint but the mint stays strong. The tea does poke through a little to give a slight muskiness. I love this. The Snake Oil doesn't take over but seem to give the mint longevity. Rating (0-5) 5

In The Bottle Sour, vinegary molasses On Application The vinegar note evaporates quickly to leave a spicey honey/molasses scent - rich and not too sweet. Dry Down Dries down to a slightly spicey brown sugar scent. Nice. Rating (0-5) 4

Shangai - not fruity but slightly citrussy. Mainly tea and honeysuckle. Love it for summer -
A funeral. LARPing a sluagh. Ah, of course. Hopefully, I don't have to attend one of those any time soon

In The Bottle Faint petitgrain and that's it On Application Dry and dusty faint rose. Nice Dry Down This is a nice soft, earthy rose thanks to the patchouli. The rose doesn't amp up for me. I really like it. Will have to do a full wear test before deciding on a bottle. Rating (0-5) 4

In The Bottle Lavender and sandalwood On Application As above with jasmine which dirties up the scent Dry Down The jasmine spoils this for me. Smells kind of sweaty. Not for me Rating (0-5) 0

In The Bottle I have to say, this was neon green in my box and stood out from the others! In the imp - dusty herbal green and floral On Application Strongly eucalyptus Dry Down Vicks vaporub but then becomes a little more piney as it warms on the skin. Not sure how I feel about this one. I can't get around the eucalyptus scent which I like but not as a perfume. Rating (0-5) 2

In The Bottle Tea and a little bit of leather On Application Citrus and tea. Fresh but musky Dry Down Becomes more lemon than grapefruit as it warms. This starts off as a really fresh citrus tea and then becomes warmer and slightly smokier as it goes on. Sophisticated and I like it but will keep it to an imp. Rating (0-5) 3.5

In The Bottle Dark, earthy On Application Strong patchouli and opopanax. A little of the peppery/spicy Pimenta racemosa Dry Down What was initially quite dark and tar-like eventually sweetens up to a glorious smooth patchouli scent. I can see what the fuss is about. Should age beautifully. Rating (0-5) 4.5

In The Bottle Primarilyfresh and juicy pear! On Application Pear, orchid and jonquil. The orchid is behaving so far. This is one of the darkest florals so far. There is almost a tar note. Dry Down The orchid and jonquil try and fight for dominance as the pear remains a constant bystander at the beginnig of the drydown. Gradually the oakmoss, some of the spiciness of the clove and the cool, powdery blue musk emerge to blend with the whole. My initial alarm at the florals was premature. This is gorgeous and i am so glad a snaffled a couple of bottles. Rating (0-5) 5

In The Bottle Nothing much from the imp except a thin, dusty scent. On Application Tobacco and leather. Dry and sweet. Lovely Dry Down Earthy, dry and sweet. Seems to be a bit light but I may have found the Holy Grail of leather and tobacco scents! Surprisingly cologney but I really like it. Rating (0-5) 4

In The Bottle Night blooming fowers, slightly fruity On Application The orchid amps up but i get a bit of labdanum as well Dry Down Incense and fresh flowers. My nose seems to be able to pick out cypress easily in blends - just as well I like it. And then the orchid is back witha vengeance. Sigh. Rating (0-5) 2

In The Bottle Spicey and gingery. Smells like gingernuts in the imp On Application Buttery ginger. Not fresh ginger but dried ginger powder. Yum Dry Down The buttery note dies back about 10 minutes into the drydown to leave an awesome ginger cookie scent. I've been slathered in Pickled Imp today which is all cinnamon cookie so it's nice to smell the difference. This doesn't have the vanilla in it so it dries down to a dry dusty ginger. Really awesome. In The Bottle Floral and slightly fruity. The flowers are creamy and lush - just how I like them. On Application Earthy tropical flowers Dry Down This is a cool scent...the cool after a warm day. Surprisingly woody. Beautiful but very soft and ephemeral Rating (0-5) 3

In The Bottle Wine. I also get a bit of honey On Application Spiced wine. Oddly medicinal Dry Down Mothballs, honey and wine. Awful Rating (0-5) 0

In The Bottle Green herbal floral On Application Rose with apple Dry Down The rose amps up but has a clean soapy underpinning. Too rosey for me. Rating (0-5) 1.5

In The Bottle Faintly floral and almost fruity On Application Dusty rose and lily Dry Down There is something kind of musky taking the sharpmess of the flowers away from this and making it pleasant enough for me.....until about 20 minutes in the drydown and the lily takes over and makes it all horrible high floral. Rating (0-5) 1.5

In The Bottle Really nice in the bottle like candied violets On Application Violet and ylang ylang Dry Down The ylang ylang pulls back a little leaving a scent that is a little generic and a little air-fresher like. No grave loam but it is kind of dusty. I kind of like it but it isn't something I would wear. Rating (0-5) 3

In The Bottle Patchouli and jasmine. Not a good combination for me to start with On Application As above but more patchouli than jasmine Dry Down 5 mins into the drydown this picks up an earthiness which improves things. This is so not me. Smells like some dim and dank crafty store with old incense. Rating (0-5) 1

In The Bottle Rosewood and lavender On Application Rosewood and musk Dry Down This is an odd scent. The rose is barely detectable, the rosewood is dry and woody and the lavender spikes through every now and then. 5 minutes into the drydown and it's gone. I like it but it needs to have more staying power. Rating (0-5) 3

In The Bottle Musky violet and lilac On Application As above but with some ylang ylang Dry Down This is surprisingly deep. I was expecting something thin and sharp. Throughout the drydown the violet stays strong, which I am happy about, and the ylang ylang is kept in check, which I am doubly happy about. The mint doesn't make an obvious appearance but it does keep the blend coolish although this is definitely not a cold scent. I like it but don't love it. Rating (0-5) 3.5

Devilish temptation, as sweet as sin: blood orange, neroli, and raspberry. In The Bottle Fruity neroli On Application As above Dry Down The raspberry comes through a couple of minutes into the drydown. Fruity but not sweet. Doesn't really do it for me. Rating (0-5) 1

In The Bottle Vetiver and wookds On Application Sandalwood and florals Dry Down All jasmine. Not for me. Rating (0-5) 0

In The Bottle Light, slightly green and very slightly floral On Application Herbal and cool. A little bit more floral Dry Down A cool floral. I a a bit disappointed in this one as the florals are a little too much. Will try again. Rating (0-5) 3
