oh, so nice! in the vial i smelled (before i read the reviews) straight papaya/mango. when i applied it, it was tropical fruit with a kick, which i couldn't place. then the spice really came out. and THEN i read the reviews. what i thought was tropical turned out to be a good ol' apricot, and the spice is clove which i love and i am so surprised i didn't guess that right off. it is now wafting upwards and i was enjoying it tremendously until i read a review that said it reminds them of an apple spice yankee candle... and that makes me feel pretty....um, potpourri-ish. won't get a big one, but will not be giving up my imp, either.

why don't i ever pick up the fig notes?? it is sooo hard to find a good fig scent. i got zero figm and zero cocoa. i smelled candy & coffee originally, which i think is very nice, but dried down to hay, which i assume is cedar. ick. hours later it was a sweet granny floral. i really really wanted to like this. you can't beat figs & chocolate, if you can find it! color me bummed!

in the vial, i definitely smelled the fruits-- deep purpley ones. mmm! on wet, it was deep, wet, tart purple fruit, with no vanilla or coconut that i could find. later, i coudn't detect it, but i am finding that alot with BPAL oils. i just cannot get them to stick around. i did however, buy a 5ml, and i do believe he smells EXACTLY LIKE THE QUEEN! YUM!!

ooo, this is GOOD STUFF!! it is only second to centzon totochtin as far as "holy grail." smells like vanilla syrup in the vial, then wet a deep vanilla, slightly medicinal with a crackling fire quietly in the background, where it becomes less sweet. i would say vanilla & fireplace, with a little powder. just tantalizing!

anybody know what dimetapp smells like? well, this is it! it's a runny-nose drier-upper, and it was one of those meds when you're a kid, you just want to drink it with your breakfast cereal, it smells sooo good. i got a very grapey scent right from the get-go. it was wonderful, the POOF-- where'd it go?? it was gone, and a 2nd application disappeared as fast as the first. i am bummed, as i really wanted this to be a keeper.

this was nutty chocolate in the vial, lovely, pretty much hershey's syrup on me til it disappears a half hour later....it would be a keeper if i could smell it longer! this is great if you are looking for just a straightforward, single-note chocolate scent.

THIS IS MY HOLY GRAIL!!! i only have an imp, and i could kick myself! this is the most *intoxicating* blend of seduction in a vial! oh, my !! i smell the rum, the wine, and the cocoa... not even sure what blood smells like, ick, but i don't find anything offensive, that's for sure. i have just put in an order for a 10ml of this wicked potion, and if it came in one of those big blue office water jugs, i'd be the first to order it. i am in LOOOVE! UPDATE: months later, i finally have my 10ml, and it is every bit as intoxicating as the imp. i just love this stuff--strong & womanly, but not in a passive, girly way. i am just lovin' this stuff!

let me start by saying "eeew." in the vial this was so chocolatey, then on, it was like chocolate covered pencil shavings, with the drydown smelling like the teeniest sliver of chocolate lost on a giant hayride. this was the worst i have sampled so far. ick.

in the vial-- a sickening nutty strawberry (which i find later is sickening strawberry...) on wet: strawberry nuts. drydown in like a strawberry sundae, and extremely nauseatingly sweet.

in the vial, this smelled very nutty with some cocoa. while wet on my arm, it was nutty/woody, and it stayed the same after that. i liked it. it wasn't too foody, just enough chocolate to keep me enjoying it, but i wouldn't order a biggun. it just wasn't that exciting. would be great for a guy that is a bit innovative & doesn't mind taking chances.

OOOOOOOOooooooo...YES! this is lovely. i am glad i got a big one! in the bottle it smelled like buttery band-aids, so i was immediately weary. first going on, it has kind of a cumin-deep vanilla-powdery smell, then it dries down to this looovely powder, a deep dark & delicious powder. so sexy & original. i layed it on heavy, because nothing from BPAL seems to last on me. but i kept saying "smell me" smell me" and they did, and they loved it!!

i found the queen to be much like aqua-net, and even alot like POTL, which i adore, but also think it smells like aqua-net! also, i couldn't even smell it after 1-2 hours. why me???

an imp lasts me about 3 fairly liberal applications. usually in a few days, it's gone. i cannot BELIEVE there are some lucky sh*ts out there who can make an imp last thru 15 apps! perhaps it's the extremely arid climate in colorado, but even though i really liberally lube myself up....i end up reapplying many times to get even *some* effect. i have a couple of 5mls i don't expect to last more than a month. and when posters say they pop the lid & put a drop on & everyone can smell it for miles?? consider yourselves LUCKY.

i've heard it pronounced "KY-per", like hyper.

i think that's the same with "siobahn." i have always heard pronounced "shah-vahn." but what do i know
