i knew i was going to adore this one..and i do. apple cider and cinnamon with a background of creamy pumpkin.

juicy plum and berries...and opium. the florals are staying in the background (where i like them). this is much prettier than i expected it would be.

aaaaaarrrgh.. i'm so kicking myself right now for not ordering a 5mL of this back when it was available. i finally got around to getting an imp of it to test out...and i LOVE it. i was initially put off by all the floral notes mentioned in the description which is why i didn't order it. but now that i have it on me, i'm not smelling the florals much at all... i smell the sugar, honey, and strawberries. it's SO pretty!

i was hoping for a strong dragon's blood note in this... but i can't smell it at all! i'm getting rose and wine.. which are combining to make a dove soapy kind of smell on me.

very strong lavendar at first, but on drydown it mellows out and something sweet moves to the front. it's ok so far. i'll keep it around.

my first impression: licorice! it dries into a gritty, smoky leather scent. it's not quite what i was hoping for. i wish i got the cherry pipe tobacco others have mentioned, but on me, it's a very bitter scent.

Peitho is such a *pretty* scent. very girly. the musk and vanilla keep the jasmine in check enough for me to like it while the clove gives a nice spiciness to the even out the sweetness and florals.

floral bay rum soap. didn't work for me.

hmm.. frankincense, wood...and grape lollipops?!? heh this smelled really nice for about 10 minutes and then the grape lollipop smell appeared and gave me a headache.

i LOVE freak show! the notes blend together so well, it's really difficult for me to pick them out individually. it's sweet with a hint of honey and lemon... a very "light" scent.

i'll start by saying that i got an imp of the '04 version this year and absolutely love it... so of course when i saw that it was revisited for '05, i ordered a bottle.. but.. this isn't my beloved! this smells almost exactly like Spooky without the mint... kinda plasticy and rummy.

2005 version this smells like cinnamon potpourri on me!

Deep cocoa laced with patchouli, leather armor, ritual incense, and a touch of Xochiquetzal’s flowers. i wasn't sure what to expect from this one, but i'm impressed! on me, this is sweet patchouli (i don't actually smell anything cocoa or chocalatey) with a hint of leather and incense. i'm not getting any flowers out of it at all.

this is almost all cinnamon & patchouli on me (which isn't a bad thing since i love those scents) with the amber & sandalwood lingering in the background. spicy!

wow, that's strong! i don't really have anything new to add. it's definitely a rose in full-bloom. very heady. and did i mention strong? it's pretty, but not something i'd wear much.

at first, this was ROSE! rose, rose, and more rose. as it dried, i started to notice the vanilla and carnation. i've had it on for about 15-20 minutes now and it's reminding me of Alice. the rose has mellowed a lot and i mainly smell spicy carnation and vanilla. it's a very pretty scent and i'll be adding it to my list of 5mLs to be on the lookout for.

this started as a really pretty violet scent, but then went soapy on me.

hmm..sweet, yet smoky. i think i smell almond, cherry, amber, vanilla, and tobacco. it's a pleasant scent and i can't wait to try it out.

samhain '05 isn't quite what i was expecting. i'm somewhere between loving it and not liking it at all. my first thought was "wow..this is potent" and then when i put it on my skin.."medicinal!!!". i've had it on for about half an hour now and while the sharp medicinal note has toned down a bit, it's still there. i'm having a really difficult time picking out other notes in this. i *think* i detect the clove and apple, but no pumpkin or spices at all. hmm. i'll give it another shot later.

wow!! upon opening the bottle, i smelled candy corn.... i looooooove candy corn. on me, it smells like caramel, vanilla, and spice. it's similar to my treasured sugar skull. i wish i'd ordered 2 bottles.

on me, this smells woodsy with a lemon pine-sol kind of scent. i smell a faint hint of the vanilla in the background, but overall this just isn't working on me.

so far, so good. it's sharp, yet sweet. i don't like it quite as much as i like dragon's milk, but i think i'll keep it around. edit on 10/19 to add: this has really grown on me over the past week. i'm loving it!!
