  1. In the bottle: Dirt covered in alcohol. I remember liking this one at BB, but maybe I'm just not in a dirt mood recently.

First on: Still dirt, which is probably form the tobacco. I'm not a fan of smelling like cigarettes, which is ironic because I'm a smoker. :P But there's other notes in here too that I like, it's dark from the musk, and there's a flower or something starting to show up.

Drydown: Orange dirt. Boo! The tobacco went away, thankfully. It's a very nice scent, and I have to say for an orange scent, I actually like it. I'll keep the imp, at least for a while. I just wanted to love the scent named for Vlad Tepes like my cat. Heh.

Nope, off to swaps. I just can't deal with Neroli or Bergamot.

  2. Gentle tea rose, lilac, Calla Lily, and Somalian Rose layered over golden Peruvian amber, Spanish moss, red sandalwood, rosewood, and myrrh, with the lightest touch of Mandarin.

In the bottle: A mossy floral, but a bright shiny one, not dark & dismal.

First on: Lots of rose. In fact, that's about all I can distinguish, but it's not like a normal rose.

Drydown: This has gone all generic rose on me. It's nice, but definitely not me. :P

  3. In the bottle: Juniper? Sage? Neither are listed, but that's what I smell.

First on: I get a hint of sandalwood, but most of the other scents have vanished.

Drydown: Either my nose is now broken from Djinn, or this one dissappears into my skin. I'll have to test it out again by itself.

  4. In the bottle: *swoon* This is like what I would expect a forest fire to smell like - fire, ash, and almost a hint of pine

First on: OMG this is amazing. I want to make out with myself. LOL. Very firey and smouldering.

Drydown: Unfortunately, this retains a very masculine air to it, and it would be hard to pass off on a girl, unless I was going out as a SuperVillain or something. I might have to get a bottle to scent my house with though, and the next bf will be forced to wear it. :P

  5. An effervescent blend of crystalline champagne notes and sweet strawberry.

In the bottle: Ooh, smells like VS's Strawberries N' Creme body spray.

First on: Not as sweet as in the bottle, the champagne note comes out more and it gets almost an alcohol-y smell, but not in a bad way.

Drydown: The two scents merge nicely, neither is more distinguishable. If you like VS Strawberries N' Creme, you'll like this.

  6. In the bottle: GRAPEFRUIT!

First on: Grapefruit, and.....no, that's not on the ingredients on the website. I must be imagining it.

Drydown: I'm not imagining it, or these scents make the perfect blend on me to recreate it. Civet. Lots of it. With vague hints of grapefruit. I'm gonna go be sick now.

  7. In the bottle: Coconut, but very sweet. Almost sticky sweet. Must be the vanilla.

First on: Still sweet coconut. Almost going to suntan lotion but not quite. Very odd, and I'm a little sad I don't get any of the oakmoss, vetiver or blackberry. :P

Drydown: All suntan lotion on me. Nothing else. Sad.

  8. DYNAMIC ENERGY - LUST - ENTHUSIASM - RESOLUTION - COURAGE - PHYSICAL STRENGTH - MENTAL ACUITY - COMRADERIE - ENGINEERING - ANY WORK WITH METALS - VICTORY - CONQUEST - WAR - POWER - DOMINATION - MILITARY MATTERS - DARING DEEDS

In the bottle: cinnamon, pine, & dragon's blood.

First on: Exactly the same as 3 witches. Exactly.

Drydown: This lasts longer on me than Three Witches did, and it definitely has more clove and less pepper. It is a very powerful and angry scent, it embodies more of the emotion I expected Rage to have.

  9. In the bottle: I can smell pine & either bergamot or neroli. I'm not a fan of any of those, but for some reason I still might like it.

First on: Definitely pine, maybe some cedar? Now the cinnamon is coming out. It's a complex scent, and while I might not wear it, it's perfect for magickal stuffs.

Drydown: Stayed the same as above.

  10. In the bottle: Earth, herbs, & a bit of apple

First on: I can smell the rose here, and it's not too strong. The apple has vanished. Mmmm....oakmoss...

Drydown: This goes completely patchouli & oakmoss. Not a big shock there, being an earth sign. It's sitll a good combination, and something to wear when I want to feel grounded I think.

I almost feel like I shouldn't like this, considering the way I feel about having my own Virgo traits I hate. I really like it though, which halfway irritates me. Haha.

  11. In the bottle: Smells like Venus but with lunar oils

First on: Yellow hard candy. The little ball kind.

Drydown: This is a great scent for daydreaming (or night dreaming too I suppose). It's very calming and floaty. I really like it.

I've worn this at work when I knew I was going to ahve a bad stressful night, and just sniffing myself would help me to calm down before yelling at guests.

  12. In the bottle: I know this scent. I really do. It smells exactly like something else I can't recall. That drives me nuts.

First on: A light floral blend with a hint of sweetness. Totally fitting.

Drydown: This stays a nice boquet of flowers without being a floral scent, if that makes sense. It's a very feminine romantic scent, but it's still got some drive to it.

This is something I would wear if I went to a springtime wedding or something sweet & romantic.

  13. In the bottle: Sweet flowers in a big pond

First on: More aquatic than at first, light floral behind it. Like the you guys say, it's like drowned flowers. Very light.

Drydown: It vanishes very quickly, but is a lovely scent.

  14. In the bottle: A cross between Thin Mints and Listerine

First on: I had already tried requieminblack's bottle, and didn't like it. My skin way amplifies the mint, and the rest of the scents are lost on me.

Drydown: After about 30 minutes, the mint calms down and the coconut starts to come out. When I was in France, I had coconut everything. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, perfume, everything. This is like coconut with a jolt - like a Mounds bar with mint clocolate instead of milk chocolate. It's not an everyday scent, but I do like it once it calms down.

I put this on before bed sometimes, because Peppermint clears my head without waking me up. The more I wear it, the more I like it despite my hatred of foody scents.

  15. In the bottle: I still say there's something else in here that I'm not too sure about, but I like all the scents listed.

First on: Cinnamon! With a hint of clove, and topped by pepper. The wierd scent went away, & I really like it. Like red hots.

Drydown: Surprisingly, this one was hard to find after a bit. I wonder if it's because I work in a restaurant, and most likely come home smelling of food. Anyways, it lightened up to a lighter scent. I put quite a bit on, and had to ask a coworker to sniff me, but he said he really liked it. I'm going to get him addicted to buying BPAL for his fiancee. Heh.

It's really really yummy when layered over Darkness. :P

  16. In the bottle: Very aquatic, but nice. Not a harsh aquatic. Maybe that's the lunacy oils.

First on: It's like springtime flowers peaking through ice & snow. I like it. It is a bit like Skadi, but not as biting. This one is definitely colder & more reserved.

Drydown: While it keeps that darkness to it, it's very clean. Like a meadow covered in fresh snow in the middle of the night.

I snagged a bottle on ebay, but now that I have so much BPAL I might let it go for my more used & favored scents. We'll see.

  17. In the bottle: Strong mint. Not what I would expect from something called Black Cat, but it's a Voodoo Blend, and that's why I got it. I can also smell some woodsy type stuff in it.

First on: Another one I already can't find on my arm. Well, at least the mint didn't scream at me like it did when I tried requieminblack's Spooky.

Drydown: The mint mostly faded away on me, well actually the whole thing mostly faded away on me. I'm not planning on using it as a perfume anyways, so as long as it does it's job if I need it to I'm happy.

  18. In the bottle: I got this one jsut because of the name. :P It smells like a faint generic perfume. Not cheap, which is almost more of what I was expecting from the name. Not because I think anything Beth would make to be cheap, but because when I think of a cabaret show, I think more trashy than elegant.

First on: Mostly jasmine. The musk is sitting nicely in the back, making it a seductive floral.

Drydown: It stays a nice floral musk. I was lucky enough to snag a half way full bottle from someone, which makes me very happy. :D

  19. In the bottle: Ooh, cherries. I usually hate cherries, but for some reason I'm drawn to this. I like it. There are no cherries in it. I'm confused.

First on: Wine & rose. I really like this one, and I'm going to cry that they discontinued it almost a year ago, so no one probably has a bottle for sale.

Drydown: Florals blend together, with the wine on top. Mmmm.... this is like the floral version of Lady Macbeth. :P

I saw one bottle on ebay a bit ago, but it just got too expensive for me. :D

  20. In the bottle: Luden's licorice throat drops.

First on: I think maybe 7 scents was a lot to put on. I can barely smell it. I can feel mint because my skin is tingling a bit, but I can barely smell it, which is nice. I didn't like it the second I put it on, but I think it's growing on me.

Drydown: It all blends together and turns out rather nicely. I don't think I'd wear it enough to justify hoarding it though, so off it goes.

  21. In the bottle: This smells like nothing. Seriously, I can barely smell it, but it's got an incense-y medicine-y scent somewhere if I look really hard for it.

First on: I can smell frankinsence, but it's not overpowering like it is in everything else. Maybe some myrrh? I like myrrh. It's still faint, but it does smell like an old Catholic church.

Drydown: Sigh....another one dissappears into my skin. An hour or two later and it was completely undetectable.

  22. In the bottle: Medicine. Specifically, an almost minty medicine. I can pick out the nutmeg in the background.

First on: NUTMEG! There's some other stuff in here, but I have no idea what it all is.

Drydown: It stays sort of nutmeg & earthy spices, but more of a flavorful spice like in cooking.

I was expecting a bit more of a poppy/opium scent from this one, I don't think I'll wear it. :P

  23. In the bottle: This reminds me of the watermelon Bubbalicious my mom always got when I was a kid. So sweet & yummy that after a few chews you want to swallow it.

First on: I still smell like Bubbalicious. Please let this one change.

Drydown: If it's possible, this has gotten even sweeter. Please get it off me. :P Such a shame, since Titania is one of my fave characters.

  24. In the bottle: Mmmm.... a spicy resinous scent.

First on: I can smell what I think is mimosa, lots of myrrh (gotta love the myrrh), and only a hint of currant. This is definitely a dark sinister scent, so of course I love it.

Drydown: Same as above. It's a great earthy fire scent, if that makes sense.
