I love the label on this! I remember making a post on social media when the events that inspired this smell happened. Flu sucks but this is a precious memory encapsulated. In the bottle: Strawberry cake to the extreme! strawberry Duncan Hines cake mix baked in a tiny oven with strawberry frosting. I almost feel like there may be a tiny bit of the scent of the very pink lipstick that was a gift as well because there is just something...different mixed in there. It's not plasticy smelling but if you have ever smelled a brand new tub of revlon lipstick, you will know what I am talking about. On me: MMMMMMM strawberry buttercream frosting with the cakey note still being prevalent. The buttercream frosting mellows out and the cake note because drier. Now it smells more like strawberry angel food cake. I am probably going to plow right through this bottle because I love the smell and I feel like I need to reapply it every two hours to get the rich-cakey smell effect to keep going. I don't agree with the Sprinklecake comparison as that one is intense chocolate cupcakes and this one is sweet, strawberry cake. No chocolate. It totally reminds me of all the birthday parties that I went to for my friends when I was little.

I smell the warm, rich pumpkin a wee bit in the bottle along with ginger, cinnamon and I think nutmeg. On my skin there isn't any detectable pumpkin but there is so much throw of those three spices! I love this. My nose tingles from the spiceness! This is only going to get more amazing with age.

Yes we still have Haloes and will continue to do so as well as all the other Retail Salons! btw, my direct extension is 301 Arsinoe9, thanks for the kind words! you are pretty awesome yourself -
Totally my favorite of all the Lilith Exhibition scents!!!! creamy, sweet, soft with just a hint of rose and light strawberry! Perfect. If this ever became a Hair Gloss I would buy bottles of it.

I am totally in love with this. It smells like being a kid in the summer....all the yummy summer treats bottled up! I get the orangesicle and cotton candy more than anything else on me, which I am glad about because Merlot can turn really weird. Kinda curious if these are all things that Brian enjoys himself? In any case, it's a very fun, nommy smell and I am going to wear my bottle out quick once it actually gets warm here in VT <3

This has IMMENSE staying power! Probably my favorite out of the Courtesans'...I thought Celeste was for a while but my skin just eats that right up. On me when this is wet it is almost all lavender and tobacco with just a touch of musk..it''s a little bit traditional cologne-y if you will. But the drydown brings out the smoky honey musk and amber....mmmmmmm. I get no rose out of this, which I am glad because I prefer it just the way it is. Love, love, love!

Orange Pumpkin Floss

Damn, I love this so much and I really didn't expect to! I normally don't do well with the citrus notes but blended with the pumpkin, these ones in particular are scrumptious. I like the panetone comparison above because it does smell like warm, sweet spicy baked goods..mine smells a little caramel-ish on me but I do amp any sweet note. I have been decimating the proto of this at work but I bought a bottle from the lab at NYCC this weekend so now I will save the rest of the proto oil for other people to try it at Halloween NEWC seriously love this though! -
Devilishly decadent and a little bit ridiculous! This bath oil is a dark brown...its got little black flecks in it, just like real pumpkin pie I used this last night after my wash-off-NYCC shower as body oil (I always use the bath oils as body oils) and was instantly transportated to happy land. This seems to have the same spicy notes as the Marshmallow Pumpkin bath oil (which I also have and adore) from last year but it's less sugary...way heavier on the pumpkin I think. Very decadent. It made the whole hotel suite smell like a bakery

I have had my bottle of Snake Oil HG since.....I'm going to say February? In fact I know it was February because it was my Valentines Day present to myself. I know the label says it has a shelf life of 6 months but I'm going on 8 months now and it's still going strong. I have a little less than 1/2 left. I use 2 - 3 pumps at a time and spritz it into my hands, rub them together and then run my hands onto the lower half of my hair and work my fingers into my scalp. The smell is intoxicating. I love Snake Oil everything but the version that makes the hair gloss is so spicyvanillamagic! I am obssessed with it. If I put my hair up and then take it down later it is this rush of Snake Oil that envelops me....I have given many hugs that make people be like, mmmmm you smell sooo good. Men especially seem to like it I will buy some more at NYCC if Puddin' brings it along (*hint *hint)

I have not done a review in quite some time but I wore this a couple of days ago and decided to weigh in... I really like Autumn Cider now that it has some age on it. When it first came out I got one because I was hoping for something similar to Fearful Pleasure (my all time favorite Halloween Bpal) but I wore it once and it was WAY too fruity and I didn't get much of the spices. So I have been letting it sit for months and just broke it out recently to discover that it has mellowed into a warm, spicy, still fruity yet- not -so -much- so -that -I -can't -wear -it oil. I love the rich butterscotch note and the cinnamon and nutmeg...I think I am going to use this in the oil burner as well in my house to achieve maximum "It smells like Fall!" comments so if any of you find that it doesn't agree on your skin, try it as a house scent!

I wholeheartedly agree with the above post, there definitley is something magical about this one! Totally evocative of being around a tree thats been lit up overnight and the branches are warm...I put some of mine in an oil diffuser and it makes the house smell insanley good. On me it gets a little faded but still has the same glowey effect.

I never had the opportunity to try any past versions of this so I was very excited when it was included with the Yules this year! This scent is everything I love: vanilla, rich spices, a warm, creamy undertone and the delight inducing sugary aspect. The throw is pretty incredible! I can't wait to see what happens to this in it's first year of aging (if I last that long without dousing myself in it everyday),

Jolly Roger for sure...maybe Cthulu? It's more clean/soapy than cologny though...I agree with Vicomte Valmont and Wilde (omg so good) and would also suggest Villian, The Bow and Crown of Conquest and El Dorado. El Dorado is the manliest scent that I own and I adore it.

Currrently rocking a mix of Fearful Pleasure and Samhain 2011. Later tonight it'll be Crypt Queen when I go out to Halloween Metal Monday!

I was expecting a very vanilla frosting smell in this and instead I get the chocolate cake thing that other reviewers are talking about. It's SUPER cakey and strong when first applied and wears down into a soft, sweet, fun scent...I'm curious to see what this will do when it's aged a little bit.

I haven't used this much, mainly due to the fact that for at least 6 months I thought it smelled like burnt fabric in the bottle and I just couldn't really deal with putting it on. However, enough time has passed now and the civet opium combo has mellowed out in something super schmexy. I love the red Egyptian musk too. This has pretty strong throw and staying power. I got a lot of compliments on this today

I bought this for one of my closest guy friends and he told me he used it this morning. He put a tiny but in his dreads and some behind his ears and he said he felt energized and more clear headed pretty instaneously. He has a 45 minute walk to work in the morning and he told me he was pretty jazzed the whole walk. Then it kind of wore off when he got to work but he felt much more level headed than he has been as of late. I knew this would have pretty specific meanings and results for him because he is the Leo'st Leo I have ever met and is already pretty magical himself so it could only be beneficial for him to have this oil. I think he does like the smell too which he described as "citrusy" before I blabbed on about how I think it smells like geranium and lemons.. I did decant a tiny bit out of the bottle for myself to keep but it was still full when I gave it to him. I'd like to think that the fact that I had it wrapped up in a special purple BPAL pouch (which i got from the Geek Girls Tweet up at NYCC last fall) gave it a little something extra as well Edited to add that he told me he's never used such a charged oil before and that it has pretty amazing effects for him

#333 I recently purschased this from a fellow forumite. I missed out on the vanilla's when they were around and I finally managed to procure one. This smells like Banshee Beat minus the patchouli...it's totally a dark Vanilla. Luscious and Seductive...I'm stoked also makes a great layering friend for Celeste! -
Freesia isn't a note I have seen much in my days of Bpaldom. The only freesia containing Bpal I know of is Mad Kate which is a retail exclusive and you can only buy it in a store that carries Bpal. Mad Kate - Honeycomb, Red Currant, Freesia, Vanilla, Rose Geranium, Thyme and Gardenia

Silken coconut, angelica, soft golden incense, tiare, carnation, and Asian pear. This is my absolute favorite out of this series. In the bottle I smell the coconut, and it is a sweet, soft coconut. I get a hint of the pear..but not enough to make me repel in horror as I normally cannot stand the smell of pear. I think Victoria's Secret ruined Pear for me back in high school with that Pear scented lotion and spray they used to make *shudder* On me this is like heaven I think the carnation and tiare combo make it creamy and candyish without being super foody. The incense comes out after a while and makes it a little smoky...so yeah creamy, sweet, coconutty, smoky beauty..this actually reminds me ALOT of Velvet Unicorn. I think if you love that scent you will like this. Also I will liken this even to Tiki Princess a little. Its the coconut + tiare thing -
My wins for the Lupers this year are: Red Lantern Burning Vulva Milk Chocolate, Raw Ginger, Butterscotch Night's Pavilion Harigata II Parlement of Foules Kypris The Arbor I think if you love Smut you'd like The Arbor. It's super red musky. If it's wine-y scents you're after (ala Zadok Allen Vineyard) then you probably should get Anthesteria.

I got this as a frimp with my Yules this winter and just now tried it out.. totally smells like coca cola in the imp. On however...wow I never would've expected that I would like this!! I have been on a smoky, sweet kick lately though. This smells (on me) like a less piney version of Pickled Imp (which I also loooove) The vetiver makes it smoky and I don't really smell the lime...smoky vanilla vetiver!
