    Leanan Sidhe

In the bottle: Green and floral, sort of like Fae mixed with New Orleans. I don't usually do well with florals, lets see how this goes. Wet: Wow, this is stronger than I had thought. Not as dainty as I had feared, but the florals are making a big show of it. Drydown: The herbs come out to play, mixing with the florals, just like in the bottle. This one also has amazing staying power on me, unlike Belle Epoque, which didn't work well and left after an hour anyway. I really like this, its light and crisp, reminds me of spring in Tennessee. I'll definitely use the imp, and there may be a 5ml in my future.

    Belle Époque

In the bottle: very classic perfume smell, but light, friendly First applying: hmm, a bit sweeter and more dainty than I like An hour later: Gone. Completely gone. I reapplied later, and the same thing happened. A mixed blessing, since I thought it was a bit too dainty, but I would have liked to see how it played out. I may try it again, but I think I'll swap the imp.

    Saint-Germain

In the bottle: Lovely. A bit green. Something sharp, with a darker note under it. On me: Wow! This is masculine. I usually like masculine scents, but this is a bit too much like men's cologne. I smell like I had a lovely looooong evening with a very wonderful gentleman. And haven't showered his scent off yet. I very much like the smell of it, but will probably swap the imp. Too masculine for me, and for the man in my life.

    Blood Kiss

The best way I can describe this is...creamy wine and cloves. That's how it smells on me, and I really like it. I'd like a bit more of the honey, but I think it might be busy fighting off the vetiver. I've seen a few people mention it going powdery, and it does so on me after about three hours, but then it comes back and smells lovely. I don't know if its stronger than what I usually wear, or if I was wearing more of it than usual, but yesterday when I wore it was one of the first times a good friend of mine who knows about BPAL, actually noticed the scent before I mentioned it, and said "wow, you smell great!" and that was 12 hours after I put it on, too. A very long last scent, as fifteen hours after I put it on, I could still smell it faintly.

    Lampades

I love this. It is like Kabuki, but deeper, more complex. The ginger pops out and it is just lovely, and eventually fades to a gingery musk with a hint of the cranberr y on me. It also lasts a lot longer than most of the scents I've tried. A definite keeper. ADDED July 11: I really think this might be my favorite scent. It was included when someone, I forget who, sent me an imp of Kabuki for a friend, and got my Tintangel in return. If they didn't adore that, then I definitely got the better deal. This is like a less cloying Kabuki, still has that layer of sweetness, but with something darker, and the overlaying crisp cranberry notes. It also lasted longer than anything else I've worn, except my beloved Hearth.

    Aeval

In the bottle: uh oh, this smells a bit like Undertow, which I wanted to like, but was all funky on me and broke my heart. Wet: A little sweetpea, but not overbearing. Almost smells like sandalwood. Maybe that is the tonka I am thinking of? Not too familiar with tonka. Just a hint of sage. Dry down: Turning powdery. Threatens to get soapy on me, and then the sage and the musk come out. It ends up being a little feminine and dainty. I like it, but won't wear it much as it borders on too flowery for me, and I am worried about that threatening soapishness. Will definitely use the rest of my imp, though.

    The Red Queen

Maybe because I wore this a few days after wearing Kabuki, or maybe due to my body chemistry (slightly offtopic--do scents work differently for you when you are on your period? I know they do for me), but I didn't get cherry from this. Well, I got a little mediciny cherry, but it seems to have faded to Fanta Grape. Sweet, fizzy. I haven't gotten any of the woodsy-ness. I am going to give it another try, and I don't dislike the grape, but it will probably go into a swap pile.

    Wrath

I added this to my imp order on a whim. In the bottle Pepper. Spice. Tangy. Cannot wait for this. Fresh on Wow. This smells like Cinnaburst gum tastes and smells. Which is a good thing. (also a funny thing, since due to a series of events, Cinnaburt gum became known amongst my friends as Anger Gum, and so it fits) Drying Much less cinnamon. More clove, maybe? and pepper. Definitely pepper. Loving it. Dried Dries to something warm, something that surrounds me with spice and sex. Lasts a long time. Definitely getting a bottle.

    Lady MacBeth

I was so excited about this scent, as Lady M is my favorite Shakespearean character. It smelled fantastic in the imp. My first thought when I put it on: Huh. Apparently the scent of ambition is pink bubblegum. However, the bubblegum-ness faded into a heady wine with the undertones of thyme. Once it dried completely, I really liked it. Not sure if I will buy a bottle, though. It did have amazing staying power, though. It stayed with me all day!
