When you need something comforting or cheering

Embalming Fluid all the way. Lemony green tea just makes me all happy and chipper. Also good when I have to be up early. -
I got this as my first swap and I love it! In the bottle, it smells like absinthe is supposed to, from what I've read. On me, it turns into something entirely different. Lots of lemon, black jellybeans, something floral and a nice clean soapishness. They vie for power among themselves in a rather pleasant way. Overall very strange, yet very clean. EDIT: While very very drunk on absinthe, do not smell the scent for comparison purposes. Trust me. The match was dead-on.

Pretty! This is "pretty" bottled. I got the rose and the lotus sweetness, and also a bit of red wine. It didn't last all that long, but it was so pretty and feminine, I loved it anyway. Kinda ladylike in a "kiss-on-the-hand" sort of way.

I was so eagerly looking forward to this one. In the vial, it smelled fantastic. On me, however... no. It went into some sort of sickly fruityness in about three seconds. Then, all I got was lilac spraycan air freshener. I had to go wash my wrist. Everybody else seems to love it, but it really, really hates me. Or maybe my skin or nose isn't working. Either way, my heart is broken.

It really does smell like tea. I got really nice chai with honey, and the clean linen. Like snuggling in bed with a big mug of tea. The only downside was after about 9 hours it abruptly became baby powder. But chai-snuggling does equal love.

So about how Snake Oil is the bestest thing ever. I got this as a freebie imp with my order. I wouldn't have originally ordered it, but I'm so absolutely in love. It made me feel super sexy, and others seemed to agree. When I first put it on, it kinda made me feel, for lack of any other way to describe, like some high-class nineteenth-century courtesan. Think Satine in Moulin Rouge. Then it went through about 15 minutes of being this really odd old-man aftershave thing. That was less cool. Finally it went into the sexiest spicy vanilla smell. It reminded me of the vanilla perfume oil I wore through high school, only cooler, yummier and grown-up. After a couple hours, the toasty-ness came in and all I could think was "sex and cookies". Snake Oil lasted incredibly long on me. Like 18 hours. I'm so very happy that imp got sent. Thankee:)

Really really strong on me! Mine is uber choco-hazelnut-coffee. It was initially like being drowned in Nutella and cappuccino. After that calmed down, there was just a general sweet yumminess left that I found pretty nice. Foody is good on me.

Yum! This smells like almond fingers. I love almond fingers. Unfortunately, this one faded to the faintest hint of almond in about 10 minutes. Hmf. I love it, but it goes so fast!

Oh, I loooove this. It smells exactly like dry-ish recently turned earth and dried roses. To an almost disturbing degree. When I first put it on, I was taken back to my favourite graveyard in July. As it dried, I got more rose and the lightest "book" note. I need a big bottle very, very badly.
