Wet: Divine. Sweet, juicy, fruity plums and currants. This is what I want merlot to taste like... Dry: loving that juicy sweet berry smell; yummy! Verdict: This one's a keeper; for once, since there are no cherries, I get that beautiful red berry flavor with no medicine aftertaste!
-
Wet: strong cherries; Nyquil. Dry: no cherries or medicine or currants or red smells at all; all woods. Vetyver. Verdict: I'm surprised it turned so woodsey, with no sweetness whatsoever. Not for me.
-
I smell no cocoa whatsoever; all spice and musk. Incense; not me.
-
In Bottle: nice; subtle; definitely smell the honey and vanilla Wet: amber is more predominant; nice blend; very soft Dry: Amber went powdery on me...bad. Verdict: I want to like it. I do; I'll try again. ADDED April 20: At first I didn't love this...it was OK; yes, I do smell amber honey and vanilla... But after the drydown I became a true believer. The honey is really peering through and is becoming the overarching note; I do love this;sexy and sultry and kind of skin musky; I liken it to Glowing Vulva or Agrat Bat Malahat.

Wet: pretty spices, but the musk is so powedery and the sandalwood is a turnoff. Verdict: not for me; too much like incense

I thought I was head over heels with Jack and Pumpkin III; add this to the mix! The spicy ginger is so different than the cream/caramel in Pumpkin III; love love love it!! ADDED July 5: My body loves pumpkin scents; I can't wait for the fall so I can wear my pumpkin patch collection! Thank goodness the gross cinnamon that accompanies most pumpkin/fall scents is not present...creamy and spicy. Love it

in bottle: pineapple all the way; not bad Wet: yummy; fruity cocktail smell Dry: fades way too fast; only a plastic pineapple lollipop smell left Verdict: needs more staying power

This might be my alltime favorite scent. I smell like a buttercream cake. Sinful, delicious...I want to eat myself
-
I dont know what dragon's blood resin is, but I am overwhelmed by the red, musky smell. The creamy vanilla tones it down a bit, but it's still quite sweet. Verdict: maybe...I'll try again in the future B-

Bottle: Yes! Exactly as promised...dark chocolate with heavy cream note. Wet: Delicious...my mouth is watering. Sensual and sweet...heaven. Dry: Still chocolate and cream; divine. My only complaint: it wears away quickly. Verdict: I want more...and since it wears down so quick I'll have to stock up and carry imps for touchups!

Bottle: Mmmm...olive oil/blossom, honey, vanilla is good. Sandalwood and jasmine...not so much. Wet: Oh, the blend is divine. Dry: the olive, honey, and vanilla overpower the floral and incense smell, which is great. Verdict: I find this terribly rich and exotic, not like me at all...yet I am drawn to it, all the same

Bottle: sent free in an order from the lab. very floral; rose and jasmine quite strong, which I don't really like. Wet: very much like a garden or bouquet of flowers; nice for the bathroom or a morning walk, but I don't know about wearing this and feeling sexy or yummy...will check back in a few hours Three hours later: floral; I smell a wedding, like baby's breath Verdict: not for me
-
Bottle: This was free in my order from the lab. Smells...like a subtle, juicy herb. Clean, fresh, but not piney or woodsey. Earthy, maybe? Wet: very plain, like olive oil or mineral oil or vitamin E oil; seems like it should be cooked with; seems like a base note to mix with something else, to tone something down...will check back in a few hours... Three hours later: sawdust. Not bad...just not me. Think fresh lumber. Verdict: might be useful to tone down florals
-
I think I wanted to try this for the vetyver and lemon rind; I can pass on the sandalwood, so hopefully it's subtle. Bottle: Strong vetyver; very woodsey; piney more than dark, though...At least I don't smell the sandalwood. Wet: wow; really woodsey; I can't smell the citrus/lemon; sandalwood starting to kick in. I'll check back when it dries... Two hours late: nope; reminded me of PineSol

This came as a free imp in my order. I don't really know what I smell: it's floral, but a dark floral. I don't like it. What bothers me most is that I don't recognize any of these smells; I suppose the above are all exotic flowers? It reminds me of a rotten lilac stem from a lilac bush: moldy violet and purple. Not for me at all.

Love, love, love. Bottle: autumn, my favorite time of year. Ginger, nutmeg, clove, pumpkin, sugar, cream...ah. Wet: more of the above, but now I smell the cinnamon; I really don't love that, but let's see if that note will wear down. Two hours later: Ahhh; I want to eat my forearm. I smell like a pumpkin cheesecake with all the fixings...heaven. Verdict: I need a 5 ML!

I don't know what I was thinking. I really don't like sandalwood or jasmine, and both of these smells were dominant on me; think the incense hippie section of the local head shop.

Bottle: Yum; reminds me of the Caribbean. Wet: Nice; coconut and hazelnut are a beautiful combination; smells exotic, but not in a Arabian Nights way; more like lounging on the beach of St. Maarten. Two hours later: I don't love it as much as I did earlier because it has dried to a powdery smell; I think it's the white musk. Verdict: I'll keep working with it, but if I keep ending up with the baby powder smell, I might have to swap this out...

You know, I'm new at this, but I think this paradoxical scent might be something I love! The description is odd...the sugar, grapefruit, and chocolate drew me in. The peppermint turned me off. Wet: Citrus, pink grapefruit, sugared lime, yum. I don't normally light bright, clean scents, but this is great. On Skin: Oh I love it! The chocolate is coming out, and the peppermint, which I don't like, is played down by the citrus notes. Two hours later: subtle, pink sugar. And this might be my imagination, but I really do smell, like, feline pheremones here. Not nasty cat pee or anything! But something definitely feral...

Bottle: I smell the floral, but it is covered by the mellow vanilla and tonka. This might work. Wet: The jasmine and rose is stronger. Overwhelmingly so. I so wanted to smell vanilla, coffee, and tonka...all I got was floral. Ew. I'll see what happens when it dries, but right now I don't love it. Two hours later: jasmine and rose is overpowering; I smell like a sachet from the dollar store...or old lady panty drawers (and no, I don't no about that last one for sure...I just have a wild imagination!) Verdict: NO.
-
Bottle: whoa! the smell of jager and cherry cough drops overwhelms me; sticky, dark... Wet: Um, yuck. Cherry Nyquil meets Original Nyquil. Dry: the star anise is rotten on my skin; although the scent has faded, I would never try this again...

This came in my first order; I picked it out for the tamarind, vetyver, fig, and cardamom. I do not like lavendar or frankinscence, but I thought I'd try and see what dominated on my skin. Bottle: wow; cloying, woodsey smell; very dark, very green, very piney. I detect no lavendar, which is good, but no fig or tamarind...disappointing. Wet: oh ew...ew...overpowering; masculine; eucalyptus!! not good... Dry: I smell like the sap from a Christmas tree. gag. Not for me.
