York Peppermint Patty meets Sue the Honey Bear...
-
an oriental spice, like Xia Xiang perfume, perhaps? Dries down to a lovely, heady, sweet honey. Nice.
-
Hmmm...boozy, but not like Smut. Fruity liquer, but not like the Atomic Luau scents. kind of grainy...maybe that's the rye?
-
Red Hotz; Big Red gum; all apt descriptions. This is a strong, burning cinnamon with a hint of dry smoke.
-
WTFOMGBBQ I need this; multiple bottles...it's creamy sweet ice cream...it loves me and I love it... :swoon:

a bit too much rose, but lovely all the same...

An accurate description! This is lovely, if you like snow and apples, and I do Cold apple cider on a snowy day...sharp and biting, perhaps like broken glass; it's lovely.
-
I'm smelling lavendar and eucalyptus; this would be perfect for sinus headaches, achiness, that kind of thing...

So...I didn't check this review board. I decided to try some protypes blindly, and this is one of them. After reading the above reviews, I'm scared to open the bottle. But here I go... Bottle: Hmmm...bright green, maybe citrus, and floral...no sourness... Wet: bright and floral; I'm no good with flowers, but i want to say more tropical than garden variety white florals... Dry: um, still just bright and floral. Not sour. Zingy, like Miracle Whip florals...it's not as gross as I thought it would be (I really hate florals) but it's not a love for me either...

The coffee is beautiful, but it quickly goes down to straight floral. Kind of soapy. If you love coffee but don't love floral coffee, you may want to skip this However, be patient...after about 20 mins, the floral soap fades and it's straight up ground coffee with a touch of creamer...
-
Oh my...this is not for me; it's green and soapy, like Irish Springs, and also white floral, like the little pellets that go in toilet paper rolls.

I was frimped a precious drop of the Underpants about eight months ago, and today I used it.... wow!!! It's gorgeous, and I know it's the saffron that I'm in love with....think Love's Philosophy meets honey and cream....
-
Oh yum....it's like a dark Beaver versary...maybe that's the bourbon...I love it!

I Fell in Love with a Floating Brain

I dont get any grapefruit or carnation from this; it's pure foodie bakery sweet goodness; it's all cake and strawberries and cream... and I love it! If brains really tasted this good, Hannibal Lecter and I are going to have to have a meal together! -
Oh yum! It's like fresh popcorn and cider with sticky caramel goodness...
-
Yummmm....the Boy is cringing on the couch, but I'm euphoric: I smell like a giant, drunk, tropical candied apple! I'm Halloween in the Caribbean, drunk on rum punch! This scent is everything the description promises....i want to committ autocannibalism and eat myself!

Eerie billows of spun sugar, fluttering white cotton, and sheets of cream. Yum! Sweet cream with sugar; no cotton for me, but that's fine; maybe a cotton candy feel, the spun sugar and all, but not linen syle cotton; sweet, candyish, and perfect for sugar goodie lovers!

I adore milk and honey, so I love this scent! The baby powder is soft, which is good because I don't like smelling like baby butt...it's great!

I was lucky enough to receive a decant of Sunbird from my summer Switch Witch alterosen; here goes my review... Wet: dark, resinous, slightly hippie headshop; reminds me of walking around Santa Fe...dry, desert, hot scent...maybe smoke? Drydown: For me, this is a scent that works on nostalgia and not really an identification of a specific note. I feel like I'm thirteen again, visiting New Mexico for the first time, in the middle of July. If you like Snake Charmer Resurrected, I think you'll like Sunbird

Dark, sexy, sultry cocoa with a touch of blood musk and alcohol...very nice. I recommend this for people who don't normally like chocolate or cocoa...

I Married a Vampire from Planet X

Odd...I'm picking up a subtle rose scent...it's creamy and soft and delicate; not at all what I expected... -
Invasion of the Flesh-Eating Reindeer from Uranus
Andrea912 replied to RaeiNarcissus's topic in Retail Exclusive Oils
Holy hell; it's the most fantastic spice cake with a touch of carrot that I've ever worn... in love! -
Wet: whoa. Very strong and boozey apple...kind of sour and rotten. I normally love apple and booze; what's going on here? A slight nutty tone, but again, like a sour nut, a nut gone bad. Drydown: ah, much nicer; has developed a creamy base with yummy mulberry and pomegranate tones...lovely.

My heart is crying right now... delivered to me one hour ago... The smell is predodminantly orange. No cream, no ambergris, no nada! Orange orange orange. I think I need to swap it off...
