Delivered to me one hour ago... Wet: Yup; red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting. Drydown: Oh baby; the warm resins in the snake oil and the sweet cream of Dorian is lingering behind the smashed cupcake; it's divine! If you love super cakey sweet scents like Beaver Moon, Beaver'versary, etc., this scent is for you! I lurve it...

I thought I smelled like delish raspberry cocktails...The Boy said "what's that smell!? It is Glade or red koolaid?" Sniff sniff...

This reminds me of Snake Oil; its dark and rich and sweet; the spices are not in your face...sexy and exotic. I feel like a Moroccan dancer
-
I say TKO; its 25 dollars but its HIGHLY recommended and its the PERFECT lavendar vanilla blend!
-
This is all snake oil and leather on me, which isn't a bad thing it starts out sweet with the snake oil but dries down with a more subtle and subdued leather touch.

Very manly. Kind of soapy. A bit reminiscent of a leather cowboy attire store.

On me this is straight tea leaf, acai berry, and white musk. Its absolutely gorgeous for a light floral type!
-
A bit dark and smokey...maybe that's the kush and orris. Nice. Well blended.
-
Pine, clove, cinnamon, vanilla...yup. Its christmas potpourri.

I generally enjoy ozone, and this is no exception. I would like more plum...

The absinthe is present, but in the background. A softly bright green scent.

Meh. Dark, warn. Mainly frankinsence and hibiscus, but I think I can detect the river reed...

This is the first rose scent I've tried that doesn't make me gag...the sugar really helps! I think it should have been called "cabbage patch head" bc that's exactly what it smells like! Reminscent of Posetts Silver Carnations.

What the deuce? This is straight bubble gum on me; I can't tell if its juicy fruit or that pink shredded Big Chew, but its gross. It hates me!What the deuce? This is straight bubble gum on me; I can't tell if its juicy fruit or that pink shredded Big Chew, but its gross. It hates me!

This is one of the most apt descriptions the lab could pen. Its straight up sugar and violets...and you know what? I like it

Bourbon, rum, and/or sleazy cologne is dominant; this is a sour scent on me.

This is one of those scents that doesn't have specific notes listed but instead evocative imagery, so I really didn't know what to expect... Wow. This is Davidoff Cool Waters! No joke! Fantastic man scent; I so wish The Boy would bathe in this...
-
Dust and incense prominent; reminds me of All Souls without the cake element...meh, asi asi.

The tonka, sage, coconut, and skin musk drew me in; unfortunately, I'm amping only the floral notes, and especially the rose otto, which makes me sad. And, an extra note: all of the Grindhouse Ladies so far (except Agrat, which I love ) fade to nothingness within the hour on me...frustrating!

Great details; that makes it really helpful when trying to find scent recommendations! I wholeheartedly suggest Queen Alice and Shadwell...also, I think Antikythera Mechanism is worth a shot! Check out the notes; let me know your reservations or thoughts

Dearest Witch Your ecard yesterday made me so happy! I printed it, as I did the first one you sent I did answer the first ecard but via the Wicked Moon site, so it probably got ate in transit. This is my first time to SW, so I'm still learning where to post public answers So, my answers to your qs were... do you have a favorite Shakespeare work or character? Well, I'm partial to the plays I've had the luck of seeing firsthand in London and Stratford-upon-Avon, of course Probably my favorite of those would be Titus Andronicus (where at the London Globe Theatre, at the end of the performance, the acting troupe got off the stage, came and mingled with the groundlings, grabbed my hand, and danced with me around the room! I danced with Shakespeareian performers in London!!) and Midsummer Night's Dream. I wrote my thesis over The Merchant of Venice, so that's special to me, as well. My fave characters are Iago, Richard III, and Shylock. - where are you hoping to go next if you have a chance to take a big trip? I'm planning my next big trip for May of 2010; should be buying airfare next month to .... Ireland!!!! yay!!!! - are the items on your BPAL wishlist bottles or imps? I updated my wishlist to discern which are which - do you have a favorite color or group of colors (like warm shades: reds, pink, orange or cool shades: blue, green, purple etc)? Well, I love any color that's just intense and bold, but I guess I'm drawn to oranges, yellows, and reds... - can you point me to a etsy or amazon wishlist? I added an Amazon wishlist link!! Oh thank you for sending me that adorable postcard and happy thoughts! I spoke to the police, AGAIN, last night; these people have been calling me nonstop (really, like 45 times a day!) begging me not to press charges as they don't want their four month old daughter taken away. Um, sorry. Not my problem. As of yesterday, they no longer beg; they threaten to come back and finish the job, including me. I had to go and get a gun last night, per recommendation of the officers and the detective. This really sucks. I mean, I don't live a soap opera life and I don't want to, either! The stress is unbelievable. Meganola sent me a PM apologizing for forgetting the card, so no worries! The surprises inside were AMAZING; I mean, a 4 year old aged imp of Samhain? How lucky am I!!!?? And, I am now addicted to the butts of bunnies; thanks my witch!!!

I would love a subscription to a writing mag, like Writers Digest, or Poets and Writers, or even Writers Market Online. I would also love a subscription to a travel magazine; I love Europe and especially the UK. I am writing addict, so journals of all types are awesome. Lined or blank. I collect Marilyn Merlots with my wine stuffs. I also love Christopher Marlowe and Tennyson. I'm desperately in need of Pitch Cards to decorate my CD teabox with... Cigar boxes are great for imp/bottle boxes.

OK, I've created a wishlist on Amazon. Holy crap, that's crazy fun! I'll probably update every day for the rest of my life; thanks enablers! I love Elizabeth I and everything related to medieval and renaissance kingship. Own many books by Alison Weir. My history thesis is on the dance of death and the ars moriendi, or medieval death manuals. Have you visited my Myspace page? I should update pics of my tattoos. I guess you have to contact me via alternate emails or ecards, so that's cool...being a sneaky witch is hard business! I love Flight of the Conchords and the BBC version of the Office. I have, as of an hour ago, updated my Wishlist of Imps/Bottles in my sig. Hugs to you, my witch!

I bought this knowing nothing of the notes...I simply wanted it for my Shakespeare collection when I opened I took a sniff from the decant and kind of wrinkled my nose. Then I looked up the notes and sighed to myself...except for nutmeg and smoke, nothing in it appealed to me. I swabbed it on my wrist...alas, quite blah. Masculine. But then, twenty minutes later, I can't help but notice that one of my all time fave smells is emanating from my wrist...could it be...Hand of Glory?! Yes, yes, it is! What a lovely suprise; I don't know how or why, but this surprising morph is delightful! Yay!

At first sniff this is not something I like, but yet a week later I keep dabbling in it...there's something bitter spicy and dark lurking...odd scent...
