This is divine! The dk chocolate is perfectly tempered by the spicy, smokey caramel....need a bottle of this! I'm a bit put off by the dark oil that stains, but it is so lovely that I'll have to hunt down a bottle...

I am so excited to review; I have five of the six Box of Chocolate LEs, so I'm thrilled to begin sniffing away now... Wet: Lots of coconut; not really chocolatey or marshmallowey, but definitely sugar and sweet Dry: the chocolate and marshmallow are peeking through, tempering the coconut; this is a lovely sweet tropical scent...

So, let me preface this by saying I made a mistake in a swap; I got too excited and thought I was swapping for Engraged GROUNDHOG Musk...I'm looking at the notes of the Bunny Musk and I'm less than thrilled; I'm not into soft, powdery things...here goes nothing Wet: sweet; perhaps the white musk; I detect the powder for sure; a tinge of clover; not enough to make the smell more savory and less...I dont know...baby head smelling... Drydown: hmmm...not as sweet; still soft and musky, but getting darker; less like a baby's head and more like...the smell of a new doll, maybe... More Drydown: hmmm...I dont think I like this, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

I am excited to review this as it is four years old and has aged! Wet: very sweet; reminds me of candied sugared fruits; I think this is similar to Candy Phoenix or Schrodinger's Cat without the mint... Dry: still very sweet and sugarey and fruity. berries, mostly; pomegranates, perhaps?

I adore this; it reminds me of a panderia, the Mexican bakeries that my abuela and I used to frequent...dusty and spicy and cakey and...like cumin, somehow...

wet: very different than the rest of the Lupercalia; this is much crisper; I smell something dark, like chocolate or caramel; the currant and plum flowers are present and deep; not much cherry or green tea; perhaps the sake is giving it the edge drydown: it's OK; just not what I expected;not as deep or complex or heavy as the rest of Lupercalia
-
Wet: sweet and sexy and exotic; I get the coconut, the caramel, the amber, and perhaps the tobacco Very nice; I like this a lot!

I have two imps and I need a bottle...this is amazing! The saffron tends to take on a medicinal edge to it, but that is only temporary...lovely vanilla and cream.

wet: spicy black cherry; I can't tell if that's the cassis or cardamom producing that effect... not for me, but not terrible... ADDED June 7: Oh no...it hates me the black cherry and cassis turned to juicy fruit and almonds...kind of rotten though, like the smell of a sour infection with pus...will keep for my cd collection, but will not be aiming for a bottle...

wet: delish! This is tropical delight; I would love to drink this and tan in it...
-
Wet: rum and almond is pretty strong; rounded out with the citrusy orange and lime; a touch of black cherry; no mint, thank goodness... Dry: the cherry and almond is starting to dominate...sharp, a bit acrid
-
Wet: hmmm..a bit disappointing; very subtle fruit notes; hardly any liquers at all...doesn't have the punch that most of the atomic lounge scents have... dry: notes are becoming a bit stronger, but overall this is a hohum and weak scent
-
Hmmm..fresh, and clean, and citrusy, but not really sweet; imagine the zest of the tangerine, the seeds of the passion fruit...nice, but it's going to get a bit soapy, I think...
-
Yummy! I want to drink this! Tropical, bright, and juicy; I can't tell if the papaya or blueberry is more dominant, but the lemongrass is a delicious bright tone over it all, and the gin keeps it from being too sweet, like gum....

Where is the mish mash of brown sugar, caramel, hazelnut, and butterscotch? This is totally woodsey and patchoulish...not loving it! Drydown: kind of peppery...ew ADDED Oct. 9: Very disappointed; I'm a big foodie fan, so the promises of butterscotch and caramel and burnt sugar brought me to this decant...however, this is nothing but dry woods on me; actually, it's more like sawdust.

Yup; minty and vanilla; I think I'm associating chocolate with it, although I dont really smell it; like a york peppermint patty ADDED Oct. 9: Yup, this scent is true to its notes; vanilla and mint; reminds me of a York Peppermint Patty

... Mugwort and bay, for psychic sensitivity... Juniper, for divination through dreams... Orchid and galbanum, for complexity, wisdom and noscere... with a potent lunar-charged blend of exquisite Asian woods, moonflower, Madagascan ylang ylang, Florentine iris, Greek cypress, davana, green tea absolute, palmarosa, cucumber, Clary sage, melilot trefoils, wood aloes, and pale creeping buttercup. Hmmm...this smells...blue. Soft, a touch powdery, deep...not aquatic at all, though...I can't really pick any single note...
-
Well, the only thing that draws me to this initially is fig, nutmeg, and orange; seems like I'd want to balance this with a cream note... wet: dark; kind of musty, dirty...
-
The plums, pomegranate, and benzoin is divine... something is becoming gross; kind of sour...
-
Mmm...pretty and sweet and blue...I didn't think I'd like this, being so pretty and floral, but its lovely... Dry: lovely; a bit powdery ADDED Aug. 2: This is a lovely floral scent. I don't normally like florals, especially white florals, but this is summery and sexy and sultry. The Blue lilac and lily of the valley is predominant; I'd like more golden musk, beeswax, and bergamot. The ginger rounds everything out, but the green tea and nectarine is not discernable.
-
I don't normally like musk, so I don't know about Babylonian musk. . . vanilla tea, tonka, tobacco, coconut, hyssop...that all sounds good...but I don't like lilac...well, let's give it a go... Wet: at first the lilac is kind of gross, but the hyssop and vanilla tea and coconut is trying to come out... Dry: hmmm...not horrible; coconut and tobacco and vanilla becoming more prevalent, but that darn lilac is still lingering

Before I begin, I like all the notes except the patchouli; I'm wary about that... Wet: clean; fresh Dry: Not bad, but I wouldn't wear this, probably ; seems better for a man, maybe; I don't smell the cocoa at all; it's mostly neroli and peach ADDED June 7: Wow! Swoon! This is a complete skin scent on me, which I love. Basically its a salty version of Agrat Bat Malahat, which I adore...I need a bottle of this
-
I thought the black musk, bay rum, , orange blossom water, gin, and tobacco sounded OK; but what is lime fougere? Impression: Bright; tobacco; manly; musk?
-
Ohhhhh......no...the cardomom is overpowering; reminds me of chai tea...
