Cherry-flavored migraine for me. It's a shame too, because I love all the individual notes in this. I mean - black currant and amoretto? Yum! *sigh*
-
Roses? Jasmine? Who'd have thought? Separately, the two are terrible on me, but I've gotten unsolicited compliments on this one all day.

Palmolive! Argh, I really like all the individual notes in this one too. Stupid chemistry. ADDED May 5: This is another I ordered an entire bottle of, unsniffed based on the reviews. I love violets on other people, but they always seem to hate me. why!?

coconut?! is that what it is? I thought I was smelling Fruit Loops cereal.

I think this one smells too sombre for me. What is the note that makes it smell "sad"? Anyway, it doesn't really work on me. On to the next!

I really love the honey and oatmeal scent, but the almond is a bit much. Maybe this is something I'll learn to like. I'm definitely reminded of Snowcake!

In the bottle--oh great, not another rose scent on the skin--lovely, absolutely lovely. the honey and sandalwood are perfect together! I don't smell any orange blossom or baby powder, so, yay!

Mysterious and dark purple come to mind when I first sniff the imp. I love violets, but the ones in this imp hate me apparently.

Smells lovely in the imp, but I can tell it's going to be too masculine for me!

This reminds me of some Yankee Candle I sniffed awhile back. It's lovely for a room scent, but on me, well, it makes me a little nauseous. Too much hazelnut for me!

wet-wood and rose dry-very rosey. this is beautiful, perhaps my favorite of the imps i've tried so far

Very almond-y, which almost put me off it, but then I read the reviews about the dry-down. It's lovely! A nice blend of citrus and spices - the almond is still there, but faint. Did anyone else experience skin irritation with this one? My skin tingles where I applied it. . .

Very lovely! I don't know why, but it brings back memories of the Lush store. Of the imps I've tried today, this is my favorite, the perfect blend of rose and lavender. What a relief too, because I was starting to think BPAL just didn't suit me!

Paris starts off smelling like cough syrup in the imp. I was rather reluctant to try it on because of this initial impression. Fortunately, it smells much nicer once it's dried on my wrist! I smell the lavender every now and then, but not quite as much as I'd like. It's a little spicy, but mostly very sweet. I think the lotus note is quite strong, so I'll be putting it aside for now in hopes of finding something better suited to my skin chemistry.

This one really made me sad. Pomegranates are my favorite food ever, so I almost wet my pants when I read the description of this one. Sadly, all I can smell are roses. While roses are beautiful on other people, they don't really suit me. Maybe I'll try Swank next.

I didn't get rose, like everyone else did. I'm new at picking out notes, so bear with me please. I'm not sure if it's the labadnum or what. While the scent itself isn't subdued, no matter how little I put on, it's got a subdued mood, if that makes sense. Sort of remorseful, a little nostalgic. I pictured the image of Mary at the tomb of Christ on Easter, which coincidentally, is the day I tried Magdalene on for the first time.
