Rawr, I forgot that I'm not a rose person... ah well! I'll have my friend sniff it and if she doesn't like it I'm sure someone will buy it or swap for it.

Fruity but not overpowering or candy-sweet. A bit like bubble bath, maybe? Very soft and lovely. Keeping this one for now!
-
Delightful, but more innocent than the description. This would be a child prostitute, incense anointed clothes eating a ripe, juicy mango peel first. Keeper.
-
Eeek. Cannot get it to not smell like peppered scrambled eggs. *gags*

sheesh, what is up with me and turning citrus scents into candy today? Blech. It's not as bad as tweedledee but I'm learning quickly that orange is too sweet for me.

Aquatic florals. I am in love. Going into my top 20 if not my top 10. It's a grown up version of the aquatic florals I loved as a little girl when my grandma bought me body sprays. There's also a hint of spiciness. I'm intrigued and utterly in love. The other reviews do not do it justice.

first wet sniff-- it seems like something slightly bitter and artificial, like caramel coffee (the artificial kind). However, on and drying it's like a tamer, juicer? blood kiss. It really goes on splendidly with Brides of Dracula, and I'm curious to see if it improves the throw. It smells perfectly like flowers, amber, and rotting blood on someone's sweet breath. Damn, I wish I'd ordered this in time for Halloween!

SKITTLES! D: Or Trix. I'm not sure which. Lovely and interesting, but I'm not a huge fan of smelling like candy...

It's alright. Reminds me a bit of Dragon's Milk, but spicier. I'll probably keep it just for enabling (since so many people seem to like it), but I'll list it on my sales page and if anyone wants it they can have it. It's nice, but not *my* scent, that makes sense. Still, I'm quite thrilled to finally be sniffing it.

Pumpkin with cranberry, strawberry, red musk, red rose, rosehip, frankincense, fig, jasmine, and carnation. the incense is very well behaved, like subtle nose-tickling spicy, almost peppery-- and I'm grateful, because incense often goes crazy on my skin! It smells very herby, like pulling a bit off sage off the plant in my grandfather's garden. I might be able to sniff a hint of berries in the background, but it's way back there. Pumpkin? What pumpkin? hehe. I also don't pick up any florals. It reminds me strongly of my grandfather's garden-- he always has lots of flowers, herbs, and the occasional berry plant growing. I have a feeling despite not LOVING this scent I'll probably keep it so I can think about him after he's gone.

By far the most buttery, sweet, foody pumpkin so far this year. It first goes on really WARM, like pulling a butter-soaked pumpkin pie out of the oven, then fades down to a lovely smokey honey, like cherry vanilla tea with just enough honey to be sweet, but not sickeningly sweet, and cinnamon pumpkin bread covered in sweet butter. Definitely a keeper. This one might just convert my mom to BPAL...

Citrusy pumpkin... I can't quite figure out if I like this or not! Wet on my skin it repelled me a little, but as it dries I begin to like it slightly more. It's almost a bit too candy-ish for me, but not *quite*... I'll have to revisit this one.

This is what I thought Diwali would smell like... A bit foody but also not. It smells very templey to me, for some reason... At first whiff it's all spicy and pumpkiny/lemony foody, but then when you sniff a bit deeper it's incensey and lovely.

Lovely, sweet, and sort of... foody/musky??? It reminds me a LOT of Blood Pearl and Black Opal... I'm not sure what it is going so sweet and powdery on me, but I like it, except that I fret it makes me smell like an old lady.

Thanks! I'll check all of those out. And of course, I don't actually have any of them, lol. The sad part is that Blood Kiss SHOULD work. It's just one tiny little note that ruins the whole thing on me. I want to figure out which note it is so I can make a close substitute!

help! Going as a generic vampire-- renaissance ivory velvet dress with lace and satin ribbon, black velvet hooded cloak, subtle fangs, etc. I have no clue what kind of personality she would have or anything. I do like the idea of her being British and drinking tea. I have Brides of Dracula, Lucy's Kiss, Blood Kiss, Blood Pearl, Baobhan Sith, Dracul, A Countenance Foreboding Evil, and then a handful of not-vampiric other imps at the moment. If I order now, I could get an imp or two (probably) in time for Halloween from other forumites. Suggestions? I was thinking about Blood, possibly to mix with something else. Here's why none of the things I have now work: -Brides: TOO florally, not enough of anything else. I'm not a floral person, but it's a Dracula LE, lol. I think it would almost work if something were grounding it (silk road, white rabbit?) -Lucy's Kiss: Actually, one of the few florals that almost works on me. Still, not grounded enough. -Blood Kiss: would ALMOST work but something smells absolutely disgusting on me. Not sure if it's the vetiver or cloves. -Blood Pearl: much too soft and musky. -Baobhan Sith: Do vampires really smell citrusy? Granted, I smell awesome in citrus, but it's a little cool for almost November... -Dracul/Countenance: too manly. Incense in the Cathedral smelled hideous on me. Something bitter in Blood Kiss ruins the whole thing for me, but I don't know what it is. Florals work, if they're grounded/all but drowned out by something else. I'm not entirely sure yet if tea scents work on me or not. Rose almost without fail goes sour and yucky on me. Lavender in high inhalation doses seems to make my chest tight and give me a hard time breathing. Now for what works: Citrus! love it. But it's very cool... Honey-- it smells like female arousal to me. I wish I knew why. =P So it's very appropriate in vampire scents, IMO! I just prefer it to stay in the background. Aquatics-- they work for me, but I don't know if vampires would smell like one of their few downfalls? Earthy?-- something in Silk Road smells lovely on me. There's the burst of cinnamon, but then something under it is like this lovely, sweet sort of tea-soil. It smells earthy, but not. Spices-- Cinnamon at least smells good on me. Bengal was my first and only scent for a while, and I really liked it. Cherry-- it can work, if it's not too candied. I hate bubblegum and candy and gag at the thought of them. Vanilla-- better paired with cherry or spices than on it's own. I loathe Warm Vanilla Sugar by B&BW, if that helps. Odd scents-- Dragon's blood works, but it entirely depends on what it goes with. Leather... not really the greatest on me, but awesome on my boyfriend! Amber I'm not sure I've ever tried. Can't think of anything else at the moment. I suppose I need to figure out exactly what sort of activities she does and then make a more concise list of what she might smell like. Edit: I'm going to try to get my hands on Mina Murray and maybe Horreur Sympathetique. They sound promising. Suggestions still very welcome.

100% floral on me. As much as I love the muses, this one is rather headache-inducing. *rubs forehead* Ah well. At least I can say I've tried it!

I have just found the perfect scent for most leaders of organized crime in my stories. O_O Definitely a guy scent... or maybe you would smell it on a girl as she left the wearer's office, straightening her skirt. It smells slightly like cologne, but then so much more.
-
nice... kind of a dusty, gentle, floral version of blood kiss... It would be perfect with just a little blood in it. Probably not my trademark scent, but I might wear it with my Halloween costume (I'm going as a female vampire, wearing my rennaissance wedding dress thing and my black velvet cloak.) Updated: Well, there's pretty much no throw to it at all. I'm going to experiment with blood or blood amber with it to see if it will stay a little better there... besides, aren't they supposed to smell a bit like blood? Anyways, it smells much better on me now, maybe due to skin chemistry or something, and more honey and babywipes than florals. It's really growing on me. I'm on the prowl for a bottle now.

Arabian musk with two roses and a bevy of Middle Eastern and Indian spices. Othello smells stereotypically perfumey to me. I think I had envisioned something more like Bengal or Silk Road, and it's definitely more baby-powdery (or baby wipey?) than those. It's not a bad scent, it's just not what I picture Othello, the Moor of Venice, walking around smelling like.

Angel food cake crossed with suave clarifying shampoo (yech) and avon skin-so-soft. Kind of makes me hungry.
-
kind of a fuzzy floral. It's definitely not my style, but it smells like my Elf Priestess on Perfect World so I'll probably keep it. Maybe my body chemistry is changing or it's just roses that smell badly on me, but I actually really, really like this.
-
a very dark/gloomy floral scent with a hint of... cinnamon maybe? or tea? something that reminds me of Silk Road, just a little. Lovely, but only because it reminds me of a slightly floral Silk Road. Normally I'm not much of a floral person, but this smells quite nice on me.
-
Interesting... really hard to explain. too floral for my poor lungs right now (even silk road is causing distress at the moment, alas!). I like the orange blossom, but there's something about the other notes that repels me. Probably that pesky rose mixing badly with my skin chemistry... wah.
-
first thought: apples! (no, peaches, but I wasn't too far off) second thought: shampoo?! third thought: LUNGS! Can't... breathe... fourth though: hm, no, it's definitely a shampoo scent. Eh. It smells like what my best friend (female) should. I'll try to push it onto her, hehe.
