a nice, dark, aquatic smell. sort of citrusy. Reminds me a touch of Bayou except that I like this one a bit less, lol. It also faded on me the second I slathered it on, so phooey.

This one confused me greatly... I think I'm physically incapable of smelling rum. The imp is full of something that feels like oil, and I can smell that it's not water, but... it's like an invisible smell. I can "see" the outline of it but I can't see IT with my nose. I spilled it all over my fingers and can still smell nothing. I have no idea why. When I had my first and only non-virgin pina colada (in Canada-- I would never drink illegally), I couldn't smell the rum or even get a buzz. It's doggone weird, but this one might as well be canola oil on me, lol. I have no idea what it smells like.

dark and spicy, but not in a cinnamon way. It's spicy the way wet, freshly chopped trees smell. As it dries, I get more of the juniper and patchouli separating, and it still smells nice. Not really a scent for me to wear, but I could see a guy really loving this. It's a very rugged and mysterious scent.

goes on nice and strong, but I'm not so sure I like it.... kind of a dark floral. I guess I forgot I'm not a floral person, sigh. As it fades I get more of the rose, as if it were just being dropped into a vase of water, which is nice... for someone else I'm sure this would be great, butit's just not for me.

Amazing!!! it reminds me of pineapple, but I suppose that's really the other tropical fruits. It smells delicious but not 100% foody/fruity... like a tropical drink scented perfume. Golden is definitely the word I would use for it. Now it's drying down and it smells like dried, unsweetend guava and papaya... so delicious! heavenly. dry-er: reminds me of that nice orange soap from the Body Shop that my bf's mother uses... not a bad smell at all. I love how BPAL scents morph!

reminds me of tropical sunscreen... makes me want to go get a bottle of the huge sweet-smelling sunscreen and cover myself in it, except this is better! SoI guess I'll get a bottle of this instead. I have synesthesia, and this is EXACTLY what the song "He's a Pirate" has always smelled like to me combined with Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen. The coconut is very understated. I adore this and need a big bottle NOW. ETA: and it stays on me too! Longer than anything but Bengal and Blood Kiss, at least. Which is freaking amazing, especially since it's not heavily spiced.

reminds me a lot of this scent spray I had as a little girl called Ocean Mist... it's a citrusy but not scent. I can't think of how to describe it.... I never would have chosen this but Delirium1009 had the right idea! I think it brings back memories of my childhood, spritzing on Ocean Mist and feeling so grown up, but then going outside and playing with dolls and my swingset... our family vacation to New Orleans... wow, it's definitely one of my top 10 so far, maybe a top 5. Not sure if I'll buy a bottle, but this imp is a keeper for sure.

oh wow. 9.5/10 for sure. It smells heavenly... I strongly get the fig, coconut, and almond for about 15 minutes, then it fades. But still, I love this. Considering a huge bottle of it.

I nice, faint, dark red smell to me. One of the few almost-florals I can tolerate on my skin. It quickly fades to next to nothing, but that next-to-nothing part smells faintly of flowers, which is the impression I want sometimes.

I've had them all my life, they're just getting worse right now for some reason. Definitely not stress or sleep related. They're not bad/violent/worrisome enough for me to see a doctor. They're mostly noise induced. Anyways, I might go on meds eventually but I'd rather try whatever I can first.

What do you do if you have seizures (not the dangerous kind, the annoying focal seizures that make you spaz without losing consciousness) and can't stand lavender AT ALL? It would be beyond awesome to find a BPAL scent that prevents or reduces my seizures! They've been getting worse recently and I have no idea why.

All I can smell is florals and maybe a little incense... not bad, but not really my thing. Probably just my body chemistry and nose, but even wet and in the bottle all I could get was florals.

I got this as a frimp from another user, or else I probably never would have sniffed it. In the bottle it was a bit floral-y and green, with a little darkness... I guess it reminded me of Faiza a little. It faded to nothingness in under 5 minutes, but is that really surprising to anyone who knows my scent-eating body? Interesting scent, to say the least.

It smelled decisively nutty in the bottle, then like... wtf, doritos??? but the almondy smell came back, so I put it on. Wet, it still smelled very nutty but a lot sweeter. It reminds me of the toasted almond syrup we put in coffee at Dunkin' Donuts, minus the coffee. Drying, I start to smell a little bit of incense. Still very almondy. Dry: still awesomely almondy but fading quickly. Yum.

This is a leather scent that actually smells like leather on me. It's a good, down-to-earth smell. Puts me in the same yummy place as Silk Road.

Nice! I think I must really like Dragon's Blood. Not as yummy as Blood Kiss, but kind of spicier and darker. I think it might be awesome layered with something, but what I'm not sure. Either Nosferatu or Whip.

Smells almost exactly like Shanghai to me... must be the green tea and lemon. Nice scent, doesn't want to stay on me. ADDED July 16: alright, on second try (or maybe it's because I'm on my period) embalming fluid is everything that shanghai refused to be on me. I think I prefer it a little more, because it's a bit stronger and less sweet.

This one was so-so, but my brother really liked it. It smells very leathery with a little bit of a floral scent. My brother said he thought it smelled a bit like Whip, and I can smell the resemblance.

Just smells like perfume to me... I'm not sure how to describe it. calming but just... perfume like you'd get in a department store. Maybe my mom will like it more than me. It's good, just... not quirky enough for me, lol.

Oh. My. God. In the bottle I can smell the cherry and Dragon's Blood... yum! A confusing mixture of innocence (cherry) and darkness (blood). I'm instantly intrigued. I put some on my inner arm and my fingers get a wooden sort of scent on them. Sort of a spicy wood, though. Maybe it's the dragon's blood drying? As it started to dry I went about sniffing other vials, then had to close them all and figure out WHERE that delicious honey smell was coming from. It was, of course, my arm. I'm tempted to buy a huge bottle of this and turn it into deodorant. And lip gloss. and soap. and lotion. I want to take a bite out of my arm, lol.

Yum! It smells more brown sugary in the bottle, then sort of like burnt cookies on my arm... but after it dried a bit it smelled amazing, like hazelnut toffee covered in butter and brown sugar. Wow. ADDED June 27: I hope I can add one for my brother? He's my most recent BPAL ghoul. He's begging me to buy him a huge bottle of this and actually licked his arm several times before trying to lick the sample stick! O_O He wants me to find out if there's anything actually NOT good to eat in this oil, lmao. >_< He rated it 10/10.

This smells exactly like lemon sugar cookies to me. I have no idea why I'm thinking that, but my family agrees.

Am I the only one who thinks this smells just like Crayola Crayons? >_< It's not a bad smell, but I sniffed it, thought "Crayons!", took it to my 9yo brother who sniffed and announced, "It smells kind of like color crayons!" Hm... I don't smell the leather at all, but I didn't grow up around leather (raised by vegetarians), so that might be why.

not sure what this smells like... I was contemplating it for a dungeon smell (*hides* hehe), but I'm thinking that would require something more innocent smelling for me and something more diabolic for him. >_< It's a nice scent, but unless my boyfriend likes the way it smells on me I'll probably let him wear it. ADDED July 16: it should be noted that upon further inspection this scent gives me a raging headache... UNLESS it's on my bf's skin. Something about his skin chemistry makes it perfect and not headache-inducing! Not only that, but it's very... er... how to put this... It made me jump into his arms and bite his neck. It smells sort of like a gentleman spy. Perfectly prim and proper and wearing a tux or whatever is appropriate for their station, stopping in between kicking bad guy arse to dust their clothing. Leather seats in a sports car, bowing and kissing the hand of the damsel in distress, never letting a vulgar or angry word mar the perfect British accent. *drools* What was I talking about? Oh right. Hehe! Whip. Good stuff, extremely good stuff. We've decided this is Mr. Rachel's scent for the time being. In the unlikely event something else comes along, it's still a nice one. NOT BDSM-ish in the least, as the title would have you believe, but definitely one of those "OH WOW" scents on the right person!
