in the imp, i get pure flowers. mostly magnolia. i tried wearing it to class, for the furball's benefit, and no go. he did not seem to want to follow me. maybe he's just shy? (hopefully, that's all it is...) also, it turned into a soapy powdery smell on me. maybe that's why he didn't wanna follow?

this one, like most of the other voodoo blends, was way too strong for me. i got some kind of almost nutty scent at first, then flowers. and sneezing. but it does smell faintly familiar, as if i've smelled this one before. maybe down in the quarters? in between sneezes, i put this one up for swap.

this scent and some of the others in the voodoo category all smell oddly similar to me. i get a hint of cinnamon, some kind of flower (hell if i know what), and a deep scent out of it. i'm not sure if i could pull this scent off, but someone who's pretty confident about it and knows what they want (which i rarely do), could wear it without a problem.

i didn't really get floral impressions from this one so much as a color memory. has no hanna smells like the color of my grandparent's old couch. it was a deep ambery yellow, soft and thin in places but patterened with tiny cracks to simulate real leather. don't ask. but that's what it reminds me of. sadly, i can't wear it, because it gives me a headache. but i hadn't thought of that couch in ages...

i was quite impressed with nemesis; it's a strong perfume, but it's tempered by the flowers. very nice. it's a "i'm not taking anymore of your crap, and we're going to do this MY way" kind of scent.

this one was definitely floral, but the honey helps it to not be so in your face as some other floral blends are. i liked it, but one of my friends fell in love with it. so i gave it to her, after turning it into a solid perfume. she took it to school, and just about everyone liked it. it's a cooler smelling floral (to me), but the honey helps it be just a tad bit warm. it's like being sad on a cool night and the guy who just broke your heart puts his warm jacket around your shoulders to keep you from shivering.

this, for some unfathomable reason, smelled burnt to me. like burnt sugar. needless to say, swap pile for this one! i never got any of the florals, just burnt bits.

Hail unto Thee from the Abodes of Morning! i was pretty impressed by this one. it was a swap imp, and i'm afraid that i didn't look at the description when i agreed to swap for it. it's total sunshine, sweet late spring early summer sunshine, where the sun is warm and bright, but not HOT, like it is in june. very yellowy-white, like the color of the sun at midday.

i like thalia; it is a lovely sweet summer time scent. now, if only it would return the favor and stay for more than half an hour!

i wanted to like this one, and i almost did, but the underlying florals outdid me, darnit! at first, it was lovely, all spicy and warm, but then the bloody florals just had to come out and ruin it all. 'tupid florals...

wow. i didn't think i'd like this one, thought for sure that the evil lotus would try to kill me again. never even smelled the little bugger! instead, it's all lovely chocolate and red wine and some floral bits, but nothing overwhelming and then a bit (just a tiny bit!) of a sweetish tobacco and wow i think i'm just in love. also... i made this one into a solid perfume, and it's still fantastic! yay!

i really like this one; it's very apple to me. but not "hi! i'm an apple! aren't i cute!" but more like an older, less excitable apple. it's lovely; it actually lasts on my skin, unlike damned near everything else. must have a big bottle!

this is NOT a shy scent. this is 'hi, yeah, i'm over here. and i'm sexy and can kick your ass. wanna see?". and well... i'm just not that aggressive. except for when i'm a pirate, but that's completely different, i swear! this one went into the swap pile; it's an intriguing scent, but it deserved to go to someone who would appreciate it more than me.

the frankincense got me; although to be fair, i did try this one right after pain, so i may have still been a bit woozy. however, i'm not a big fan of any incense-y type smells, so... it went into the swap pile.

i got this as a bonus off of an ebay purchase; it was okay in the imp (kinda manly, in that grown up very important gentleman of leisure kind of way), but not me. also, pennyroyal. i blame it all on the pennyroyal.

dear god, the love. i can definitely smell the cherry, but it's not in your face cherry, it's a nice soft cherry, sweetened by the flowers. i love this. and must have more!

umm... okay. i'll say it. it smells like either a cleaning agent, or the cakes that are put in urinals. i think i'll go hide now...

the pepper really came out for me; it was a sharp, spicy scent. definitely made me think of "white". but not soft, floral, or wintery white. the white of expensive cotton paper, clean white cotton sheets, just white. and spicy white at that. too masculine for me, but would LOVE to smell this on a guy. darnit, i'm gonna have to go man hunting, just to find a guy to slather with all of this stuff.

Seething with passion, yet utterly cold-blooded. Dragon's blood, vetivert and spice. i liked this one! didn't think i would, because it smelled so hot and spicy in the imp, but i do! i do! it's all lovely and red and passionate, but slightly treacherous, too. yum.

well, i can definitely see where this is a manly scent. it kind of reminds me of aftershave, actually. my grandfather's aftershave, to be precise. and i didn't like him very much, so i'm afraid that i may actually be prejudiced against villain because of that. but he was most certainly a villian, so maybe it's an accurate scent after all.

this scent, fortunately, wasn't for me (it was a gift for a friend). it has the evil jasmine and myrrh in it. but i sniffed it anyways. it's very rich and deep and floral. and commanding and regal. and says "i am self confident, and i don't need you. nor will i let you judge me." or maybe i'm just dizzy from the fumes again...

in imp: owwie! owwie! my nose, owwie! yep, definitely painful. on: was washed off almost as soon as i put it on; apparently, pennyroyal ALSO hates me. *goes to add pennyroyal to the neverending list*

this was a dizzying scent, literally. i think it was the orchid and myrrh working together against me. it was sweet and floral, with dark undertones. a nighttime scent, if you will.

jasmine again. *le sigh* it's a VERY floral scent, and it's surprisingly strong. i ended up giving it to a friend, who loves it. it's not a little girl scent, it's quite a grown up scent. maybe i'm just not mature enough to wear it yet...

reminds me of a cross between saturnalia and morgause, with the same ill effects that they had. all of them came from the same box; i bought a lot of 12 imps off of ebay. i don't know if they all really smell this way or if they were just busy conspiring amonst themselves on the way here, but it really reminds me of those two.
