In the Bottle: Jasmine Tea, a little nose wrinkling for my taste but hopefully that will calm down on skin. Wet: Bamboo, a bit of spicy ginger and jasmine. Maybe a hint of warm leather. Dry: No!!!! Where did that lovely scent go! All I'm left with a jasmine soap, emphasis on the soap! Verdict: I was hoping for a lovely asian scent with the bamboo, ginger, tea and leather dominate. Unfortunately all I'm getting is floral soap.

First Sniff: From the bottle its sweet tea. Nice but I already have a Gennivre and White Rabbit for my tea fix. Second Sniff: Wet and dry its the most delicious vanilla I have ever smelled. The musks ground it and keep it from being too sweet. No tea, lemon or lavendar to be found. Final Verdict: My new favorite. At the rate I'm going my imp is not going to last much longer. Time to order a couple of bottles

I don't think I can really add anything new to a review, but I'll give it a go. Wet: Dandelions. It smells identical to School-House. Dry: Still dandelions primarily but with a tiny whiff of florals. Verdict: I already have a fresh-cut green scent in School House. I was hoping this would be a bit more floral, but no such luck

CCXV In the Bottle: Sugared grapefruit Wet: Remains true to the scent in the bottle Dry: No!!!! Where is the lovely sweet grapefruit? Why am I left with slightly sweet baby powder/play dough?! Verdict: Curse my skin chemistry! Both of my Chaos bottles were misses -

CCVV (I think the 3rd letter could be an X) In the Bottle: Whoa! Sweet, sweet caramel and no trace of Dorien. Wet: Still no Dorian. The sweetness of the caramel has lessened and another note is starting to surface. Something a little smokey, it almost reminds me of the pepper-smoked caramel note. Dry: The caramel has faded, leaving only soft, sweet sugar. I'm getting a smokey, spicy note that reminds me of something but for the life of me I cannot think what! Nutmeg maybe? Suprising it doesn't make me want to start sneezing. Verdict: Nutmeg dusted Caramel. I don't really care for the sweet, foody scents so this is going into my swaps. Edit: I've got it! It's a caramel chai tea! -
In the bottle: Vanilla cream with a bit of grapefruit. On the Wrist: Yummy vanilla with gardenia and tiny splash of jasmine. As time passes by the vanilla disappears leaving the gardenia and jasmine. Verdict: I just don't dig gardenia and jasmine. I was hoping it would be more vanilla and grapefruit. Oh well.

In the bottle: I'm getting lit beeswax candles. On my wrist: No beeswax just frankincense. I now have a smokey, incense covered wrist. Verdict: I was hoping that the beeswax would stick around because I love it so much. I don't care for incense heavy scents so this is going into my swaps.

In the Bottle: I get almost pure grapefruit. On my Wrist: Where did the grapefruit go? Now I get pine and murky aquatics. As it dries down the pine starts to disappear leaving just the murky aquatics. Verdict: I wish the grapefruit had stuck around, because I'm just not digging the straight aquatics.

I woke up with a tension headache from grinding my teeth in my sleep. Since I had just received my imp of Grr in the mail I decided to give it a try and dabbed a bit behind both my ears. My headache didn't disappear but it did lessen and I found myself relaxing muscles that had been tense since waking up. It definitely has a peppermint base but there is something else there lurking in the background. I think I'm going to have to order a bottle and try a few of the more oil heavy remedies mentioned in this thread.

The first sniff from the bottle was straight vanilla cream, sweet and oh so creamy. A second sniff yielded the same creaminess but with a hint of fruit beneath. When dabbed on my left wrist the first thing to show up was the same apple note as in Snow, Glass, Apples. I love apples and this particular apple note is like biting into a crisp, juicy Granny Smith apple. As it starts drying down the cream starts coming back with a bit of spice from the carnation. On me this is cream covered-apples with a tiny bit of spice from the carnation. Thanks be the sweet peas did not turn to powder on me! I may have to buy a second bottle or two to horde.

In the bottle this is almost all fig with a bit of booze from the cognac. After dabbing a bit on right wrist I get leather and is that paper? The fig disappears for a moment but then returns and brings along the cream. Now I'm getting a bowl of figs sitting on a leather writing desk and the desk drawer is open just a tad revealing some brown-paper wrapped books Oh and look now someone's set down a snifter of cognac! This is beautiful blend of figs, leather and cognac on me. Its not what I usually wear but I'm glad I decided to chance a bottle after reading a comment from will-call that some labbies are predicting this is the next Hellhound!

In the bottle: Juicy kumquat On the wrist: Wet, Ox is all juicy fruits. I had forgotten all the notes so when I first took a sniff I though guava? But after reviewing the notes I'm pretty sure its the kumquat and maybe the lychee that I'm getting. As it dries down, miracle of miracles the tobacco does not amp on me! Dry it stays true to in the bottle with some of the other fruits and some florals coming to say hi. Verdict: If this is an Ox its an Ox that's been dressed up for the New Years Festival and covered in garlands of fruits and flowers! I almost bought a bottle unsniffed but decided to pass because tobacco always ended up amping and making me smell like a lifelong smoker. But for once that didn't happen and instead I got a fun, fizzy, floral-fruit. Now to search for a bottle.

In the bottle: Warm, sweet cream. It is indeed reminiscent of the skin warmed ivory silk. On the wrist: Wet, it is very sweet with the honey, sugar cane and vanilla in the fore. As it drys down a note which I'm guessing is the copal comes forward. After a little research on what exactly copal is...Yep! Its the copal, which has now replaced amber in my heart This makes me think of being in a room lit by beeswax candles and scented by copal incense. Verdict: Why?! Oh why does this gorgeous scent have to have a name like Giant Vulve?! I am in love but I don't want to be connected with a scent that is based on such an image I'm going to have to go on a mad search of BPAL for a copal scent with a less provocative name.

In the bottle: Cool water and florals. I'm guessing the oakmoss and tobacco flower are the dominate notes here. On the wrist: Wet was kinda She was just another amber scent, warm and sweet. But after the initial drydown *oh boy* Oakmoss pokes out its head and twines around the amber creating something both cool and warm and sweet. I am in love Verdict: Absolutely divine! When I close my eyes Dia transports me to a warm sun drenched rock on the edge of a cool stream. The portrait really illustrates how the notes combine on me: oakmoss & amber are the ball, while the woman is the white musk. Oakmoss & amber take center stage but the white musk cradles them. No coconut here and I only get a little whiff of tobacco flower every once in a whilre. Everything is very soft and shy but still divine. She doesn't have a lot of throw when the summer heat comes and I'm wanting something that isn't going to amp in the sun I'll be turning to Dia.

In the bottle: Khrysee is beautiful orange blossom. On the wrist: She becomes sharply sweet. I love all the individual notes, but for some reason the dry down turns soft, sweet amber into her evil twin and she becomes loud and pokes you in the eye. Verdict: I had such hopes for Khrysee and I almost ordered a bottle unsniffed. Am I glad I didn't! She might work in a scent locket for me but I don't have one so I shall have to find a better home for this goddess.
