At 5:13 PDT today Lilith Victoria was born to Ted and Beth, she weighed in at a dainty 7 lbs 13.4 ozs. and is 21 inches in length. Lilith has a very full, thick head of dark brown/auburn hair and blue eyes. She came complete with ten fingers and ten toes. Please join me in wishing the best to her and the new parents. I noticed this file, so I uploaded it.

Around 11:15 am this morning all of our inbound mail started bouncing back. We have been trying to get in touch with our provider all day to straighten it out. working again as of 6:30pm 11-21-06

Was it an APO/FPO? I honestly have no idea how long those take. A(F)PO's are treated like internationals by the USPS, they have to be walked in and a customs form filled out. If you got a CnS, then it should be going out as domestic. You could send email answers and get your tracking info, since you lost yours to the virus. B.

Holiday Moon: Brick & Mortar Festivities We will be open for Holiday Moon on Saturday, January 14th, from Noon til 6pm. The address is: 5523 Satsuma Ave North Hollywood, CA 91601 It may be a little hard to find. Satsuma looks like an alley, but isn’t. The building itself is a warehouse covered in gloriously strange pale blue aluminum siding. Sexy. We’re on the right side of the building. Mr. Thrifty [our mini-skeleton] will be in the window, and there’s a very obviously half-finished budding new herb garden in the front. The cats killed the catnip. While you’re in the area, you may want to hit up three other shops on our street. There are two wonderful architectural salvage places and a great stained glass shop. Tell them the new freaks down the road sent you. 8) The primary problem that we may have this week [and forever afterwards] is parking. There are four spaces in front of BPAL. Ok, now onto the Plan: Unfortunately, our wretched credit card system is still unprepared for retail in-store sales. At the moment, the damned thing won’t even let me log in. Anyway, all in-house sales on Saturday will have to be either cash, or through PayPal. We will have a terminal set up there for people who want to use the latter. Payment may be remitted by PayPal ahead of time to willcall@blackphoenixalchemylab.com, or you can pay at Pick Up with cash or using one of our computers as a PayPal terminal. When making your payment, please omit shipping charges. You may purchase any current catalogue oils, as long as we have them in stock. Please remit all PayPal pre-payments by 11pm PST on Thursday, January 12th, so that we can get your orders together. Some t-shirt overstock from BPTP will also be on hand, but those will have to be in-store purchases, since I'm not positive which sizes and styles will be there. We will do our best to accommodate all orders of 5mls and imps, but sales will be based on availability. Imp Packs will be available, but we would prefer that, if you are going to purchase imps, you pre-order them so we can expedite the process. In all cases, its probably best to pre-order anyway, so we can make sure we have the oils allotted, or will be able to tell you beforehand if we’re out of stock. You get the gist. Recently we made a change in the format of the CnS, we were putting the entire ccnow order # in your name field (if it fit). Now we are using the first few digits for internal tracking. If you are trying to ref your order # from ccnow the last 6 digits will match up (***-##-####) we use the *, and the # are the ccnow order numbers. Hope this clears up some confusion. Unfortunatly we do the same with paypal, but we don't get the same #'s the customer does. This does not apply to the tracking number you get from the USPS with your CnS, this is only the extra data we put into the address field with your name.

...and as usual they didn't bother to alpha test their junk, so... I don't think anyone is getting a click and ship. *We* are no longer getting the tracking info on our side. I will be trying my bestset to keep the shipped thru thread current. - Brian

When we ship we are now putting your ccnow order # (##-####) or the first 7 characters of your paypal transaction # in the first line with your name. I hope this doesn't take too much of the fun out of guessing which order you got a click and ship for, but it has helped us tremendously in tracking shipped orders. Thanks Brian

Good morning, everyone! Here’s a quickie update on the status of everything in the Lab… CUSTOMER SERVICE Ted is working day and night to answer everyone’s inquiries. There was a small problem with our outgoing POP server for about 12 hours, during which you may not have received a reply that he sent to you. If you emailed a few days ago and did not receive a reply, please email him and let him know, and he will resend the info from his sent folder. PENDING ORDERS THROUGH 11/15 The eleven of us at the Lab have been working from 10am to midnight (and a couple of extra hours for myself, Beth, Ted and Anthony), seven days a week, to try to get all orders placed prior to November 15th out in time for the holiday. In order to speed up the process, orders are going out… a little out of order. Seemingly random, I think, but it makes sense to us. We are doing everything in our power to get the orders out as fast as we can, and will be shipping daily through 12/22, and through 12/23 if need be. Thanks to everyone for their patience! .brian.

Due to a problem with the USPS software, we are no longer sending out click n' ship notifications. The software lets us ship in groups of 10 items, the problem is that it is copying the last input email address to all 10 orders, so only one person would be notified, but they would be notified about 9 orders that weren't theirs Sooo. Until they correct their software we will have to discontinue this service. I hear FedEx gives good rates for the amounts we are shipping, so I will look into that. For those of you who follow the "I got my order" and "click and ship" threads you will soon notice that sample only orders will be continuing to go out while some are still waiting on 5mls. Please hold off on sending a status email until I post a "shipped through". We are not out of bottles, or any particualr scent at this time (Regan and moon rose BO will ship tomorrow) with all the limited editions for the dates we are working on, it just happened that the sample orders are shipping out sooner. It should be coming from a @blackpho...com address. I finally built it after we got a computer for the lab.. we'd been using mine which has a faulty SCSI drive , so we couldn't leave it on 24/7. Anyway, I know that paypal sends you a response, but there have been too many times that paypal doesn't email us. So, now if you get a form email from us you know that it's been received safe and sound and no confirmation email is needed. Paypal from the time of my post on should get the auto response, before that I am going to manually check against paypal logs. Thanks .Brian.

Just popped in here really quick to fill you guys in on what's going on and what the status of things are... We were running along well, and catching up rather quickly, and then we ran into... June 17th.. blue moon day... I had only pre-made about 1/2 of what we actually needed. That first half should be arriving to the californians today and rest of the country over the next day or so.. I am expecting the next half to go in the next few days... We are still stuck with the amber 5mls, probably until early August. On the upside, that will give us more time to get results on the poll. Hello all! Two things I need to let you guys know about tonight... First off, we have no internet connection at the store yet ( SBC), so if I am delayed in responding to your emails please understand that it is because I have to compile a list and figure out what is what the following day. We've tried using smoke signals, since the lab is so close, however the LA smog makes it very difficult. Also, Nella's last email response was Monday night and my first time responding was this evening, I apologize for the delay but it was unavoidable. Secondly, there was a delay on all the orders that were processed for shipment on June 10th. They were taken down to the post office on Monday, but still haven't shown up to their destinations yet. This is a new post office, that is closer to the lab, so can a few ppl post here when they get orders from the 10th? I would like know wether or not to continue to use this new branch. Until then I will be dropping them off at our old reliable post office Thanks ladies and gents! Brian
