In the bottle: Kinda has that weird artificial note that Fog Machine Juice has. Which is great because I love Fog Machine Juice On the skin: Very chemical smelling, my wife sniffed it and said "Gasoline". I don't think it's quite gasoline but it's definitely industrial smelling. Like it smells like hot electronics/metal with lubricant. Definitely smell leather on the drydown. It's that roasty leather where it smells warm and almost tobacco-y

In the bottle: Perfumey and sweet First on: Smells like White Rain hairspray As it dries: The champaca gets stronger and the hairspray dies off Drydown: Sweet, vaguely perfume-y powdery I actually really liked this one -it's kind of perfumey but in a good way. I appreciate the lack of patchouli and the champaca is pretty nice. I'm hoping it gets a little stronger as it ages. Really good staying power too, I've had it on for 8 hours and you can still smell the remains of the champaca.

I was excited to see the notes when this was released, since pine-y, resiny smells are my favorite. And when I got it, I was even more excited. In the bottle it has a strong pine sap smell. And when it goes on, it's that same fresh pine sap smell but also with a hint of something warm and spicy underneath. Honestly, this smells almost exactly like my bottle of Wolf Moon '07 which has been my favorite smell since it was released. And this is good timing, as my Wolf Moon is starting to go a little off. I'm probably going to buy a couple bottles of this - both for the cause and for the perfect replacement of my favorite.
