This is the closest to Figs and Leaves that I've found. I love it! Figgy with a very earthy base, this isn't a foody fig, but rather a deep and earthy one. It's sweet with an herbal/woody tinge to it. I don't get overwhelming dirt, but there is a dirt note in here. Very wearable.

This is quite light. The orchid is definitely predominant, and stays in the foreground for me throughout all of the stages. The juniper is most prominent when in the wet stages, adding a bit of sharpness. As it dries, the white musk comes out to smooth things, but the patchouli never makes an appearance for me. Overall this is light and beautiful, but quite clean - I tend to like my scents a little dirtier.

On me, this was soft and fuzzy. The shea lends a creaminess and there seems to be a herbal green vibe going on here. It's very reminiscent of summer meadows. It's very soft and light, and warm. I like it, but I don't often reach for these types of scents. It's a little too "clean" for me.

I couldn't leave this one on long enough to work with it. I think it was rosemary or something that just went bad on my skin. It was sharp and disturbing.

This is strongly lavender and lemon on me. I did notice a calming effect almost immediately, and sleep came rather quickly for once (I've been having a lot of trouble in that department as of late) but I didn't dream at all. That is a little weird for me, as I usually have fairly vivid dreams and last night, there was nothing. I did have a very restful sleep though, so it was a success for me on that front. Out of all of the sleep blends I have tried, this is the most soothing for me.

GAH! This is sweet and very foody on me. Wet, the almond and coconut notes are most predominant. They calm down after a bit and the fig comes out. Much later into the drydown the sandalwood makes an appearance and takes a bit of the edge off the foody vibe, but it's still just too much for me.

This is black orchid and apple blossom on the outset. As it dries, the moss adds a bit of earthy spice, while the apple blossom stays prominent. There is an herbal kick to this, but somehow, the notes blend into soapy doom on my skin. It's becoming a little headache inducing for me.

Ok, I'm getting a small amount of vetiver and sweetgrass here, with vanilla musk. As it dries, the sharpness of the vetiver/sweetgrass smooths out and the vanilla comes out more. The end result is a little powdery herbal vanilla. It's not as sweet as most vanilla blends are on my skin. I was having an absolute crap day and this made me feel much better, so I'll be hanging on to it. And perhaps looking for a 5mL.

I'm getting red musk and saffron here, very reminiscent of Scherezade. Definitely an exotic feel to this blend along those same lines. This is pretty heady when first applied, there seems to be an initial "blast" of red musk. As it dries, it smooths out wonderfully. This is really beautiful, and I think it's going to age like whoa!
-
I'm getting red musk in here too. Cardamom and maybe cassia as well. This is beautiful, and sexy!! There may in fact be tobacco in here as well, I'm picking up on hints of it. All in all, a sweet, spicy delicious musky blend.

The peach and orange are dominating this blend for me, with a little bit of a spice kick and the patchouli grounding it. It's going a little sticky and sickly sweet on my skin, which is not really enjoyable. I'm not one for scents with fruit because they tend to do this. Overall, I think this would be wonderfully dark and juicy on the right skin chemistry - just not mine.

Fizzy and sweet root beer to start. AS it dries, this is a sweet vanilla, almost too sweet. I don't get a plasticky vibe at all. Further into the drydown, the vanilla calms down and becomes a little more subtle. This is comforting and soft. I like it, it's soothing. -
Wet there is a sharpness to this blend. The fir needle and cedar notes are definitely prominent here. As it dries, the smoke comes out more, smelling a little campfire-ish, and the musk provides a really great undertone. The leather is at the forefront about 15 minutes in, but during the drydown it fades and blends in with the other notes beautifully. A couple hours in, this is close to the skin, light musk and sweet leather and smoke. My fiance smelled my wrists about an hour in and said it was too herbal for him, but the final product was nice.

Thank you everyone!! I have a bottle of Wulric I can try, I totally forgot about him. Lilith Victoria would not be a blend I could wear that is conducive to sleeping... erhm My fiance quite likes it. I haven't tried Safari yet either, but I think I have a decant stashed away somewhere that I gave to my guy due to his troubles with travel. I'll see if I can track it down and try it for my purposes. Thank you so very much!!! I appreciate all of your help!

I'm bumping this because I'm looking for a lavender/vanilla blend that is NOT TKO. I'm in desperate need of sleep/relaxation/calming the hell down and I'm finding that neither Baku or Somnus are working for me. TKO hurt my teeth it was so sweet. Anybody have any suggestions? Oh, and while I love Love and Pain, I find that the tobacco is predominant on me, which is nice to wear as perfume, but not helping me sleep.

I think this might be my favourite of the Summer Blockbusters. At first blush, this is sharp pine and khus. There is a bit of a musty vibe here too that just smells disconcerting. A little aftershave-y, a little cologne-y. However, given some time to settle on my skin, this is GORGEOUS! The myrrh really is a standout here, and the patchouli and black musk are just perfection. The pepper is really understated, adding a bit of a kick. It's pure lurve.

Sweet and fuzzy musk. This is light and inoffensive, not beat you over the head musk. I really quite like it. It wears relatively close. I'm not getting much of a citrus vibe here at all, but my skin tends not to wear citrus well so even if it is here, it probably wouldn't show up on me. I agree with other posters about the Ivanuska/Hunter Moon comparison. There seems to be a vanillic creaminess that comes out further into the drydown. This is just gorgeous!

This should be full of win on me, and it's not. There is a funky smell going on here I can't decipher. Wet, the mimosa is sharp. This seems to smooth out as it dries, and the red musk is fairly predominant on my skin. There is an earthy quality that the patchouli lends to the blend, but all of a sudden there's a weird maple syrupy kind of smell. I think I might need to cellar this for awhile before wholly giving up on it.

This went a little juicy on me - which can happen with grapes/red fruits. The longer it sat, a very smoky tone came out. I'm not sure where the smoke is coming from to be honest. The leather and clove stayed mild here, neither overpowered the blend which has been known to happen on my skin. It was nice enough, but it didn't jump out at me.
-
This was a really dry leather blend on me, and the pepper lent a bit of a funky smell here. It wasn't remarkable on me unfortunately.

I get a lot of woods and ash while this is wet. As it dries, a sweet herbal tone comes out and lightens this a bit. I can faintly detect the apple blossom in here, and the chamomile lends a soporific touch. Sweet and calming, this is a really beautiful blend.

Ok, I am going to echo a lot of sentiments here and say: nom nom nom CLOVE CIGARETTES nom. The tobacco/clove combination is just gorgeous! I can't stop huffing myself. I was worried this was going to be too dry for me (dust, I'm looking at you... and you too cedar - aka Mr. Pencil Shavings!!) but there was no cause for concern. The tobacco smooths this out, and the spice is just sweet enough. Wonderful!

Ok, I have a feeling this review is going to garner me some side-eye from a lot of you. I'm sorry, but I just have to say this: Incubus smells like lettuce on my skin. There, I said it. It's out there. Whew, I actually feel lighter. I have no idea what is causing this. If I smell a little deeper, I can detect the caramel. So this leads me to believe there is some unholy interaction between caramel and mint on my skin that is turning this to lettuce. I am also willing to point a finger at sage. Just because I never liked the look of him either.

CANDY!! And children's fruity vitamins. I think the mango and fig are contributing to a candy-like sweetness here. I am getting absolutely no depth from the patchouli at all, and the green tea note is adding a bit of airiness. Fluffy and slightly effervescent.

I actually kind of liked this one. The lily and pepper were a lovely and unusual combination here. The woods prevented this blend from getting cloying and the musk added a wonderful depth. The mandarin was most predominant in the wet stages, but during the drydown it softened and contributed a sweetness to the scent.
